Question VoLTE and VoWiFi Icons in Statusbar - Redmi Note 10 Pro

Hi!
Since Android 11 i learned loving Icons in the Statusbar for VoLTE and VoWiFi but with A12 those doesn´t work properly in any ROM than MIUI.
In most Custom Roms you have to restart the System UI before you see any of the two icons.
What´s making me wondering that this can´t be a big thing to fix but nobofy seems to care about so does this problem only appear for me?
Greetz!

Last time I use PixelOS and Project Elixir, they are missing VolTE icon, I've checked their repo, it's indeed non existent, but that's all that I notice. Other such EvolutionX, CrDroid, etc., they do have the icons.
VoWifi however, I never have the chance to use it.

Thx for reply.
Even VoLTE isn´t shown proper because after forcing restart of the system ui it will be always present - even on edge. ^^

Adaptive Icons Stock Mask (For Oreo)

Most of us are using oreo as a daily driver, and most roms have implemented round icons mask for adaptive icons. I am sure there are some people like me who hate round icons so i searched and tried to make an overlay which reverted round icons and i was successful. So i am sharing it with you guys. It changes icons system-wide.
I put the overlay into a magisk module so u just have to flash it in magisk manager or twrp and reboot.
Thanks to @vvb2060 as i used his round icons mask and changed the string to stock one.
Hit that THUMBS UP button if it helped.

changing VoLTE icon

is there any way to change the volte icon? cause the stock one looks ugly
by any chance I did actually changed it by accident but I don't know how to get back the icon that has been changed (I actually liked how the way it look to the changed one) I'm using LightROM (not sure if it's v18 or v19) and I decided to update to the Nov build, after updating the volte icon had changed to the same image attached, but I ran into some problems and had to go back to the previous one

interesting... how did you change & which part (file ?) that controls VoLTE icon ?
i thought it's controlled by carrier and not user changeable.
thanks !

So, i found the problem, look really strange but, looks like turn off MIUI Optimization in developer settings change icons shape, at least 3rd party ones! So, i fount that after reflash the whole ROM again...good, a tons of settings and changes to made to put them like i want but at least found the culprit!
Hope Xiaomi do a update to fix this, since i dont know why and how MIUI Optimization can affect icons shape, and this dont make sense at all!

Thankyou, that fixed it and also fixed the leftmenu first panel in homescreen where by trying to expand it was causing a weird visual bug where, now that i can see it normally, was basically trying to expand it but keeping the bounds of the original panel, therefore just spreading the icons inside. Now everything seems working fine.
Also reverting it back on active is not causing the bug to reappear.
Xiami Mi9 t pro (right out of the box literally opened it 3 days ago)
After update to MIUI 11.0.3.0 on Mi MIX 3 happened to me as well on stock ROM. Turning off optimization also helped.
God thank you, sun_is_shinning. I already tweaked the hell of themes and icons with no result. Now I want to use my phone again.
Also in that update they did something to animations so they became annoyingly slow. I made all the animations 0.5x in developer options and it became less annoying but some apps relying on it are now showing ridiculously fast animations but it's bearable.
Hi, I cant find this "MIUI Optimization" menu in developer settings.
MIUI 11.2
help bro is there any alternative way to fix the square icon ? other than flashing whole rome

After Update: How to move clock back to right side of notification bar?

Hi ,
I've installed te latest update (Android 10, One UI 2.0)..., now the clock is on the left side of the notification bar, which is really annoying...
Any easy solutions to move it back to the right? Good Lock is not available in my country (Germany)
Cheers
Use SystemUITuner. personally I have everything disabled on my status bar, and QuickStar isn't up to date anyway. So systemui tuner is the easiest method I'm aware of.

System UI Tuner works perfectly fine. Its the first thing I did since updating to 10 on my S10 and have had 0 issues with it (aside from the battery icon re-appearing after restart, which i just toggle again)
Not working on One UI 2.0.
The system icons blink for a second when changing the clock position setting but the clock does not move.
Ahhh okay I see what you mean now. It seems like that's the one thing that isn't working.. that and the battery icon. Other than that everything can be toggled normally.. hmm wonder why
Anyone else has all the notification bar icons come below the notch when dragging down the notification bar?

Some of the icons can be hidden. Like Wifi and Volume, others like Battery stay and the clock unfortunately does not move. (S10e One UI 2)

How far did your "complaining" get you?
I'm sure developers are aware of Android 10 issues with their apps - some of which are provided free - and will publish updates when they can.
Be patient...

Clock on S10 devices has always been in the top left corner of the screen, even on Android 9...
It hasn't been introduced with One UI 2 nor Android 10 dude
Sure, before these it was on the right side, and before the last Update I could use SystemUI Tuner or GoodLock (one of these) to move it back to the right side. And I think many people were complaining. Just was wondering why nobody is doing it now
Alright, no worries, if there's no solution avaialble yet, I will just wait and see.
btw: Is there any special reason why GoodLock is not available in Germany? I always have to remove my SIM and use a VPN to use it.
Cheers

Samsung choice maybe, idk really...
As a workaround, try to download it directly from APKmirror here : https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsu...ung-good-lock-1-0-00-53-android-apk-download/
This version is from 5th August so it has been made for Pie, maybe you'll have to wait for Samsung to update it and make it Android 10 ready.
This is so ****. It seems there really is no solution to move the clock since the update to 10!

Oh thanks. a quick google shows it's Feb 3rd supposedly! Fingers crossed. Just can't get used to the clock on the left. No idea why someone thought this was a good idea.

I've got an S9+ and also been dealing with this issue. As small an issue as it is, the clock on the left really bugs me
I just installed Good Lock, which led to QuickStar, which I guess is updated now - clock moved!
Just install "Fine lock" from Play Store, then install QuickStar plugin
Great tip! I have installed the apk and have got the clock on the right side finally! (S10+ One UI 2.0).
I had SystemUI Tuner doing this before in combination with the nav bar color option (black). So using both as of today.

ROM that is like Stock Android or better ROM

Hi,
Well I like the Official Miui rom but some functions I loved got removed by xiaomi so I finally want to break out.
I want to actually use the Notification Logs that came with Android 11 (don't know why xiaomi removed it) and I miss the option to set the priority of notifications. I used this one a lot because I had some notifications I wanted to see when I pull down the bar, but I don't need to see the icon all the time.
Also more customization would be nice...
So I'm asking you here, wich ROM comes the closest to a stock android experience or wich ROM is the 'best' one.
Thank you and have a nice day!

Without hesitation:
https://xiaomi.eu/community/
or
https://one.revtechs.me/en/index
there's Pixel Experience which are the same as Pixel phones, HentaiOS which are heavily tuned for great user experience, or Evox if you want more customization than barebone. LineageOS are similar to AOSP. There's so many ROMs to try, really.
