Has anyone had any susccess with a password manager on the X fold? I'm using Dashlane which I've used with other phones but on this one it won't show up with passwords on Opera or Firefox browsers.
And yes, it is set as the Autofil Service

Currently I have the Gmail java app installed to check my standard @gmail.com address.
I also have about 5 different domains with e-mail address I use through the Google Apps service.
What is the most effective way to manage these e-mails?
I like the fact that the Java app lets you keep the e-mails in conversation format like traditional gmail. The problem is I can not figure out how to use it for my domains I use through the Google Apps service. Is this possible?
Also using the Java app means I can not have my phone automatically check my e-mail throughout the day.
Please anyone who uses these services please let me know if outlook, google java app or another program is the best way to manage multiple e-mail accounts run through these particular systems.
Thanks a bunch
CC
I would just setup the Gmail accts in IMAP mode...
Hi,
I've been through the same, there's a different java app for Mail by Google (Google apps) than for Google Mail. Apparently one shows with a blue M where the standard has a red one!
On your mobile device, point your browser to http://m.google.com/a and you'll get the option to download the appropriate client.
Details here (listed for Blackberry but ignore the word 'Blackberry' and insert Windows Mobile instead - works a treat!)

Hello, since a couple of days i've been experiencing problems using iGoogle on my opera browser... The problems started after upgrading my phone from 1.37 rom to 1.93, but they're probably unrelated to the rom.
I can access the google page, but after entering my email and password to login to iGoogle or gmail something strange happens: I am directed to a completely blank page, with 1 word in the top-left of the page "Google". Nothing else. Also, a small icon of a lock appears in the address bar. The address bar displays an url starting with https://.
One time i got an error message saying i had cookies disabled, but when I checked in the Opera settings it was enabled, and i never changed this... so this appears to be a problem with Opera not allowing cookies, since google wants to place a cookie when you log in.
Does someone recognize my problem and know how to solve it?
Some other people have the same problem, see here.
I have the same problem. It started a couple of days ago, and I didn't change any settings. This was before I updated to the 1.93 rom, so I should think it's a problem on googles side, and not with the phone.
I'm still able to access gmail with Internet Explorer (but the light version for mobile phones).
i sorted mine out .solution here

It's a different problem to the one you had coopigeon, and the solution that worked for you doesn't help here.
I think omnivore and jaeger are on the right track that it's an Opera issue in how it's interacting with the gmail servers, perhaps relating to 1.93, or some new settings google are now using??!
It used to work or me, and now it's not working for me (after I upgraded to 1.93) so I'm stuck to using IE for e-mail checking
Yes it's different, because I use a mail account set on IMAP for gmail and that works perfectly... I don't even want to use the browser gmail, cause the WinMobile account stuff is good enough for me.
The problem is indeed related to the way the Opera browser interacts with the google page. I have now tried something:
I typed the entire url in my desktop browser... and voila, there i was on iGoogle. I guess my new diamond is not as shiny as my old desktop pc ;-)
The long url i get when i try to log in on starts with https, which means it's a secure connection, and apparantly Opera can't handle it. Either placing cookies is disabled in the software (although the settings say different), or the browser somehow can't redirect from the https secure page, to the normal http page.
Are there programmers here who can look into this? You'd be a great help, cause I'm addicted to my iGoogle with 10 different news-sites! RSS feeds don't even come close...
Hi
I have trouble opening my Outlook Web Access mail in Opera 9.5 on my HTC Diamond.
Opera only asks if i want to open or save a file called CookieAuth.dll
Its no problem opening Outlook Web Access in Opera 8.65 or Internet Explorer, but it does not work in Opera 9.5.
Anyone else who has the same problem??
it's not exactly a solution to your problem but i found a very nice software that allows you to download your OWA emails as if you had the settings from the server (very helpful in the case of companies not allowing off campus email access other than OWA). It's called emoze and works very nicely... try it...
OWA

Hi
I experience the same problem. Even with previous Opera 8.5 (?), for symbian S60 Nokia Communicator i was not able to get access to my webmail.
With Nokia I had to use Opera Mini 1.20, and with Qtek or HTC i find Netfront the best (as it is the only one that memorizes my login data)
I can also get the mail with IExplorer, but it is annoying to have to write my login data every time
Seems like it is a problem with Opera then. But i like Opera, so does anybody know a way to come around this problem and still use opera?

Am I missing something here... But can you not just configure Pocket Outlook to check your emails? If you have access to OWA then this is in essence what Pocket Outlook uses to fetch emails.
I would love to do that, but because i sync my other email account with outlook on my PC, I can't use pocket outlook to check my OWA account.
Or is it some way too do that???

Well as long as the 'other email account' is IMAP/POP enabled then you can just create a 'New Account' in Pocket Outlook. It will have its own folder structure e.g. Inbox, Sent, Deleted etc. Who is the provider of your other email account?
I've got my work email via MS Exchange and also have 2 other email accounts on there too- just like many other people on here I'm sure.
What you can't do (as far as I know) in Pocket Outlook is actually 'sync' more than one email account.
But you can't configure a outlook web acces account on pocket outlook, you have to use active sync to set it up on the diamond, or am i wrong?
And when i does that it says that i can't sync OWA mail because i already sync my other email account with Outlook on my PC.
Must be someway that you can sync two email accounts!
Yes, you can configure OWA with active sync and then you set up any other emails via IMAP/POP. If you dont have a data plan, then both of email accounts will update when you connect the device to your PC (using it's internet connection). This is exactly how I do it- Like I said, my work email (OWA/Exchange) is setup 'via active sync' and then I have configured my two other IMAP and POP3 email accounts.
What you need to do, is not 'sync' your Outlook on you PC but rather create a 'New Account' in Pocket Outlook, the end result is still exactly the same but this way you can have you OWA and Outlook email both on you device.
If you have a look at my screen capture, you will see I have the 'Outlook E-mail' which is my OWA/Exchange email. Then I have my Hotmail account and I also have one called 'Sunil Hirji', which is my personal IMAP(or POP3) account.
Just wonder if your problem has been resolved. I have got a HTC Touch HD the other day and I have encountered the same problem.
Yes me too. I have tried to sync using ActiveSync etc., but it doesn't appear to work.
Could anyone provide some screenshots showing how it should be set up. I have a feeling there is a setting server side that is preventing me from syncing using ActiveSync (have e-mailed the IT guys today).
Even if I could access using Opera it would be good, but I get the Cookie authorisation problem. Outlook Web Access works fine on a desktop so am at a loss .
Get it working?
A possible "workaround" for this is setting up "File Types" for opera. To do this, open the opera.ini file (depending on the version of opera you are using, may be in different locations on your device), mine was located in windows\opera9. Edit the file using a text editor that supports UTF 8 encoding.
There is a section in there titled [File Types] with some entries under it. After the last current entry, add the following lines:
application/x-msdownload=2,,,,,|
application/x-msdos-program=2,,,,,|
Save the file with these entries back to your mobile device. Soft reset your device.
These tell Opera to open the x-msdownload and x-msdos-program mime types directly in the browser, rather than trying to download them as files.
I classify this as a "workaround" rather than a solution, because there may be some security implications related to making this change (ie there must be a reason why opera is configured to not automatically open .dll files in the browser as the default setting), so proceed with caution and accept all risk!
Anyway, hope this helps...
You beauty!!!
Is it me, or the new Gmail client is just worse than the previous one ?
For some reason, it never saves the parameters I enter (login, password, and... font size), so it is just not usable.
Somebody have the same behaviour ?
Same issue here. I reported this on Gmail forums but none anwsers me.

same problem here : user/password not saved
Same problem here. Even when I try to open a message from inbox application says that my username and password do not match. Using JBlend.
Well, as for me, I can login, but the login/password is not saved for next session. Which would be bad, but not deadly. The size font and global forget of parameter is a worse issue as far as I'm concerned.
I do not seem to have his issue on mine.
I used Gmail Mobile on my BlackBerry 8800 and SonyEricsson P1i (Symbian UIQ). As far as I can tell this application worked properly only on my BlackBerry. I could leave application to run in background and I have pushed email with notifications. This 2.0.6 version on my Diamond is far from that. It would be really nice if Google could port Gmail Mobile to be native Windows Mobile application.
I assume that the problem lies in java virtual machine.
Also I'm not able to login in my google apps account, there is a message that my phone does not support end to end security...
I like Samsung Pass which I can login to both android apps & websites
It seems other password manager can only login to websites and not apps
Is this correct?
or am just missing how to login using other password manager to android apps?
BitWarden and LastPass can fill apps too. Depending on various aspects, they are not 100% accurate (sometimes you might have to search for the app manually).
I use Dashlane on PC and Phone. On Android password apps can use the auto-fill feature of the keyboard. Except in Samsung Browser and Keyboard, it seems Samsung is only allowing their own password app.
