How to disable samsung internet I love using Chrome.
The Samsung browser? It's optional... useless you set it as the default browser.

In Éclair I could tell GMail what to cache (for example in my Inbox everything from the last 31 days, and all my starred mails) at the Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Gmail Storage, but I've just updated to Froyo, and there is no Gmail Storage, just Gmail app, which can't be told what to cache.
How can I set now, what to download and keep for offline reading?
Really? Nobody knows?

Isn't this in the Labels section of the Gmail app settings itself?
No, I couldn't find anything like that. Do you have it on your device? Perhaps I just didn't recognize it.
Thanks

Yes I have it: Menu, More, Settings, Labels
When you click on a link within an application you are often asked which application you wish to complete that action, with a tick box to opt in to always using your chosen application to complete that action.
Where do these settings live? Can you reset them individually?
you need to go to settings > applications > manage applications, then select the app in question and select clear defaults
I tried that. It was for the XDA Developers application and it says no defaults are set.
Ah, problem solved. It was the application I had chosen, in this case the internet browser, not the application I chose it from that needed its defaults resetting.
Homesmack is a nice app to set default apps and reset
I changed my gmail account since my old one had soooo much spam. Is it possible to delete the gmail account I first set up with my device without resetting??

Settings> accounts and sync> click in the account you don't want and remove it.
idk if that will remove it as your market default, if not: settings> applications> manage applications> all> market> clear data

The prob is that the account is imbedded deep into the system. You could try to add your other account and then delete it. Just remember all your apps will be linked to the other email
Ya I did add my other and it said the same thing....looks like ill have to just leave it as is til I change roms..I was thinking cyanogenmod but not sure

You should be able to go to the sync setting and turn gmail sync off and make other account default inside gmail app

Hello. For some reason my Gmail app won't handle email addresses I click on in my browser anymore. I'm using the stock browser. It defaults to the Gmail site instead.

Go to Settings>Apps then select your browser. In the browser app settings just below "clear cache" is the option "clear defaults" hit that
Now do the same for your Gmail app. Then next time you select an email address you should be asked to select which app to use select Gmail and Always

I thought it was going to work, but the browser didn't have any defaults set. The email links I try to click are on Craigslist, if that makes a difference. It just takes me to my gmail account through the browser. I wouldn't have any issues with that in particular, but it just takes me to the inbox only, never the compose email screen.

So did you clear defaults for Gmail any way. After testing this I had the same problem with the Defualt browser. After setting Gmail as Default Mail app. The browser app setting still showed no defaults set.
So I cleared my Gmail Defaults and it worked. It gives me the option screen to choose which mail app to use again.

Ya, I still cleared them anyway, just to make sure.

Can't delete this? It shows weather for my old workplace weather!
Probably have to use the desktop browser to access your account settings and change it.
