Hi All,
Here's an odd one for you... For a while, when I changed the stock Launcher app for one of my own choosing. Everything seemed fine, it worked as expected, replaced and behaved as expected. Now, it seems I have to select, and re-select the Default App (Launcher) at least once a day, if not MULTIPLE times a day. It will not keep/remember what was selected. Despite ticking the box "Remember my choice..." after hitting the home button, I then have to select it again.... and again.... and again !!!! Grrrrrr....
MIUI does seem to have its quirks, whilst some things look good... I do wish NORMAL Android could be accesss from underneath.

It's only been a couple of hours since I applied this fix (took a while, as the Setting was hidden until forced) but so far, so good.... not had to re-select a Launcher as of yet. Which would of happened at least 2 or 3 times already by now... So I shall see how it goes, but this is amazing.... So annoying pressing Home and having to keep selecting the same option....
Who knew Wellbeing would be behind the Launcher issues....? Wouldn't even put 2 & 2 together.... But yeah, so far, so good...

No worries dude, hope all went well with your exams first of all....
Well, this is a funny matter... So after you posted that, it seemed to have fixed it for a few hours or so.... But then later in the day, it broke and went back to its usual forgetful self....
But then many weeks later, somehow, as if by magic... it appears to have fixed itself. I rarely have to select/remind it, which Launcher I have chosen.... It may do it like once a week or so, but not multiple times a day....
So either a Google update has fixed it, or it eventually just sorted its thang out....
Thanks for your help/advice though, much appreciated...

Loving this app. Nice concept n opened a new door for android...
This is the best night clock on the market and I like that it appears as an option when pressing the Home key (of course you can overcome this if you don't want it).
The design bodes well for what SE have in store for their Android customisations

Nah and my apps are all ****ed up right now cause my phone and what happened with the sd card and all things terrible :[
but I think it's a protected app anyway so I wouldn't know how to get it to you. And it's really not that great beyond 2 minutes of having it.
i had it , but they removed it from my phone wich i didn't think they could do , they had to take it down , it put most other clocks to shame ,

I dont know if this is either a problem with my data plan (which is bad as hell) or gtalk...
i have a lag of about 2 minutes in mi messaging, so im chatting with my GF and i write to her and all my sentences are kept in the lower part of gtalk, and all her sentences are kept on the upper side, so to respond her i need to scroll up my chat window, read what she wrote to me and write her back...
When you send a message, gtalk show a text like this "sent at 2:00 on monday" mine doesnt... and like 3 o 4 minutes later it finnaly appears!
i tried stopping gtalk, erasing its cache, installing older gapps and nothing seems to work...
To explain it better it looks something like this:
Her: hi
Her: in my house
Her: no, im not
Her: my teacher is out of town
Her: yup...
Me:hi
Me: where are you right now?
Me: are you going to go to school?
Me: why?
Me: ok
im pretty mad right now...

Im in Honduras, Central America (-6)... im pretty sure i found the answer to this issue but sadly it involves a wipe!!
First you should set all your contacts to "non registered chats" pressing menu on every chat window (active and non active) and setting your first button untill it look like this:

Then you have to wipe your phone (i did all of them except for the ext wipe) using Amon RA...
It may work too if you do this same procedure backwards... just try...

Valentines Day reminder !!??
It happens whenever you send or receive a text with "i love you" written in the message. It would also snow when you said merry Christmas... I'm not sure if it happens everytime or just near the applicable holiday, like Valentine's day - I haven't had a chance to send or receive merry Christmas in a while
The "What's New" section on the Go SMS entry in the android market mentions that the 4.32 update adds an easter egg for valentine's day. That would be it I suppose!

I started noticing this a few days ago. My girlfriend also uses GO SMS but it is not doing it on her end. I'd actually like to find a way to disable these if anybody has found it in the menu (I'm not having much luck).
I think there is no option to disable it.
It's an easter egg and build in the source code.
It might be disabled after the next update.

Gemini, in your image above, it looks like your Go SMS is set up to show when someone has opened a message (the little check marks to the right of messages). How do you set that up? I cannot find the option.

No... just kidding I'm sure it'll be disabled in the next few days, with an update.
I was texting my friend&&did not say "i love you" in any way , shape , or form , but the animation still showed up multiple times ! Even when I was just checking back to the convo .
It was issued back by christmas, they are easter eggs. There's several as far as I know, key words: Merry Christmas = Snow, I like you = Heartbeat and heart. same for "I love you" I havent found anymore yet.

@all......the first playstore versions which were released had all problems with multiDPI hack.......also mine. We solved it yesterday and updatet it. So please redownload and install again.

Thanks for this. Changed DPI on my Note 2 from 320 to 240 so wanted a dpi-fixed market. Flashed away, seems fine as far as I can tell. Inverted theme, says correct market version - so far all apps reporting fine, no "not compatibles" or apps not showing yet, but that can take a while if it's going to happen. I'll update this if I get any of those, but looks great so far! Tx :good:
