Please I've worked on this for four hours and nothing...
Thanks,

I am having the same problems. I've tried removing an application and downloading it again, doesn't work.
I wonder what is going on.... I'm trying to reflash the image. The thing is I really want this to work as I recently picked up Spectral Souls and heard it works on Honeycomb, but from what I've tried it doesn't work on Froyo....
If anyone has any answers or ideas I'd really like to know...
Hi!
As I posted in the other thread, try clearing cache and data for Market as well as for Google Services Framework, and then reboot the Nook. If that doesn't work, reboot first and then clear (I don't remember which of the two I tried). That is, if you're ruled out more trivial connectivity problems looks like it was some sort of authentication failure in my case, which also prevented GTalk from working.
Good luck, let us know how it goes!
What if for some odd reason I can only clear the cache but the option to clear the data from the Market app is missing?
Then just clear the cache in other words, clear that which can be cleared from the two services listed above.
ok so it worked for 5 min i downloaded two apps and then it crapped out again. I am still logged in to GTalk so I'm finding this really weird

Hmmm, that is odd. Did you reboot after clearing everything?
If so, I'm stumped. Mine's been working fine since I managed to fix it!
well thanks for the help man about the 90th time i reinstalled the gapps the fix stuck and the market worked whew
question are you on 2.2.11 or have you gotten the newest version of the market?
better taking it back... as advised

I would't go about discussing illegal apps on XDA, but your call.

I have the same problem, I've tried uninstalling it,, clearing cache, rebooting phone but nothing works the app just crashes immediately
Found any solution?
hmmm...
I caught a glimpse of a popup box right before the fc that stated there is a newer version is available. I've looked for an update, but I'm not seeing anything available.
Turn off your adblocker.. Then itll work again..
I did a factory reset on my phone and I have the same problem
Logs show an issue with not being able to display the adview, disable any adblocker and it'll work, fc'd on my gn running slimkat and fancy kernel, and on my 2013 nexus 7 running sinless ROM and glitch kernel, disable ads, reboot, and it works again.. Developer musta pushed something cuz it just started doing it this morning..

Any work around? I can't stand ads. Would it be possible to ads block for all other app except this app. I use mother of all ads blocking
Switching to another ads blocking app. Testing would report back

Hey guys, so I just got the S5 a couple of days ago and I love it. However, I'm having some problems with the push notifications of certain apps not coming through, yet they do easily on my Nexus 7. They weren't a problem on my Nexus 5, but I have no idea why it's not working properly on a brand new phone like the S5. Each of the apps, like Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat to name a few, are all listed to push notifications and they're set in the main Android settings, so I have no idea. Anyone else have the same kind of issues like me?
To note, I've already factory resetted my phone several times, cleaned out the data, caches, etc and still no use. I am rooted though, but I doubt that should make a huge difference, right? And right now, I'm not using Xposed framework, but before when I first noticed the issues, I was. Thanks in advance!
Taking a longshot here...but have you updated that Samsung Push Service app through the Play Store (and all other apps for that matter)?

if you used Titatium backup to restore any apps that use push, that could be your issue. I restored facebook, instagram , snapchat etc and the push never works when i restore, you need to clear the app out, and just login new for each push app.

Yeah, I did that initially, but that was the first time I got the phone. Now, I've been clearing out the caches and data for each app, uninstalling it and reinstalling it from the Play Store, but still some of the apps don't have the push capability unless I was just in the app or still in it. Some of my problem apps are GroupMe, Snapchat and Instagram. When I had my Nexus 5, that wasn't the issue at all.
Is there anything else I can do to fix this issue?

Check out TB Restore Fixer on the app store. I noticed that when I did Titanium Backup restore, some of my apps were not working correctly and I couldn't reach certain parts of my storage, etc. After I ran it, it seemed to have straightened everything out. (Requires root, of course)
Hope this fixes your problems!
Same problem
I first started having this issue a week ago. I checked all the setting, factory reset, and I ended up switching out the Galaxy 5 through Sprint yesterday. E-mails and FB messenger app was working on data while I was driving home and I thought the problem was fixed. I reinstalled all the apps I was using and over night let the phone charge. When I woke up this morning I noticed two of the folders I made were removed and a widget for S Health replaced the folders spot. Thinking nothing of it I removed the widget and made it to work this morning to find out I had 3 e-mails waiting, a notification on facebook, and another message through FB messenger that did not come through this morning. I am receieving notifications if im on wifi but not through the data now and this is a new phone. I think this may have something to the 4.4.4 release but this is bugging me. Any new suggestions?
I have seen issues with sprint where phone calls are fine but data wont work in certain areas of the city unless you turn data roaming on it apears that the signals are ok for voice but not for data in thoes areas
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk
Data roaming is checked on, I did go in today and saw a roaming guard on data and turned it off but nothing yet. It's been two months and my push notifications are still not working. Figure I'd come here and bump again.
Im having same issue looks like no one has a solution for this... I get all my notifications while im on wifi but soon as im on data i stop getting some notifications. Very frustrating.
Hey guys,
I hope you can help me with this.
My girlfriend has been using the HTC One Mini 2 for a while now, but about a month ago these ads started appearing at random places, the home screen in other apps, etc.
We've tried multiple ad blockers, airpush solutions, factory resets, opting out, etc.
After setting up the phone, about 24 hours later the ads started appearing again. We can click 'em away with ease, but it's really annoying.
Unfortunately I'm not able to post an image, because I'm a new user, but it's always a Google ad and it's about as big as a row of icons on the homescreen. It always appear as an overlay, but never in the notifications.
Hope someone can help me with this.
Thanks.

Take a screenshot while holding the Power button and the home key and post it here
Patching using Lucky Patcher, block ads on device and Turn google ads OFF. L.patcher will modify system hosts file to block all those crap ads. And it works for almost every devices I used before.
Give it a shot. Wish u luck!
Sidenote, it's root required.

This is one of those new malwares that cant be removed with a simple factory reset, you have to do flash the whole firmware again, if you have TWRP its easier..
You need to see if you can uncheck the restore apps after reset option in Back & Reset, if you cannot disable it, then the above is the only solution..

look like its one of the installed apps that's causing that. make sure they all are from play google and not running background advertising.
Thanks for the replies, guys.
Unfortunately I'm not able to post a screenshot yet, because I haven't got 10 posts yet.
I've tried rooting the phone, but that was quite a pain in the ass. I got stuck at installing TWRP, which still causes problems today with the phone freezing while booting and I have to use the "bright light" solution to reboot the phone. TWRP told me it had installed SuperSU, but it's nowhere to be found on the phone, so it's still not rooted.
It's almost impossible it's one of the apps, because we did a full erase of the phone. She'd never install apps from outside Google Play anyway.

All you need for a fresh install in HERE
I also had to flash SuperUser manually in mine.
I'm using a Note9 that's only a month old. The last 2 days, any app updates or new apps I'm trying to download get stuck at 99% (sometimes 100%). Things I've tried so far:
* Resetting the Play Store to default and deleting data/cache
* Wiping the cache of the whole phone
* Disabling the Google app (per suggestions I found elsewhere)
* Uninstalling Nova Launcher (per suggestions)
* Wiping the cache/data of the Download Manager
It's driving me up the wall. No idea what to try. Any advice?
This is the same issues I've been having, especially since updating to Android Pie. Only small fix I found was just closing all apps and run Device Care on a download, then it worked. I don't know if this is an actual fix though.
Are you using any package blockers or anything disabled via adb? If yes one app too many was blocked

I am not.
I've ran into this problem but only when having a unstable Wi-Fi connection. Specifically a bad power supply on the router.
And a lot of business wifi like in hospitals and stuff they have blocking software to keep the employees from watching movies and game of thrones and things like!

So, no one has found a solution to the stuck-at-99% download problem for Google Play Store?

Only Google.
I'm experiencing this problem as well (Samsung Galaxy Note 10+). This started happening 2 days ago.
Also, another strange thing is happening: The Blue light filter, and Digital Wellbeing grayscale filter, are not starting/stopping at the correct times, they are delayed (sometimes by hours).
The worst part is, my previous phone (Galaxy Note 8) had the exact same issue(s). I endured it for a long time. I was excited to ditch the Note 8 for a phone that worked... Oh well
I generated a debug log, and I'm combing through it now. I don't understand everything I'm looking at.
Here are some attempted fixes, that did _not_ fix the issue on the Note 8:
* Clearing the Google Play store and services caches.
* Removing my Google account, then signing back in.
* Factory reset, then reinstalling everything from scratch. (The issue started happening again, within 1 day.)

Thanks for your response. I just tried this, disabled the Google Play app, then restarted the device. I re-enabled Google Play, unfortunately the issue is not fixed. I'm looking at my 13 pending updates, the first one (Nova Launcher) is stuck at 100%, and is not moving/updating at all.

Thank you very much!
I double-checked that apps were unable to update (Netflix was stuck at "77%"). I disabled the Google app, and restarted the phone. I left Google disabled.
... Netflix took longer to update (it stalled at "77%" again), but it did finish successfully. Now the other apps are downloading and installing! Nice. Hopefully this is a permanent (or at least reproducible) solution to the issue.
Do you know *why* the Google app would be interfering with app updates? I'm genuinely curious.

Did you find out what was causing this issue? I have had to disable my "google" app to allow updates. Are you using a s8 ? We should compare apps to see if something we have in common is causing this issue.

Yes i disabled it, but that must be related to another issue. my girlfriend has the same s8 and no issues. Must be related to multiple google accounts or something that differs from my phone to hers.
Perhaps fully off-topic or just the solution, did you disable or remove Chrome? I know my Note 9 shows similar behaviour when I debloat and remove Chrome. Once I updated the WebView app all runs fine. So I always update WebView before anything else. But then again I only notice this behaviour once I remove or disable Chrome browser.
