Question 10 pro (EU) and wifi calling - OnePlus 10 Pro

Can anyone say for sure if the 10 Pro - UK or EU version supports wifi calling under Android 12?
Thanks
Alan

What I can say is that it is not working for me on Vodafone UK. The option to enable Wi-Fi calling is not available in SIM settings.

Thanks - that's a deal breaker for me.
Alan

Well, I have the option to choose WiFi calls and I'm doing WiFi calls. EU model, O2.

Wi-Fi calling is all dependant on the carrier and OnePlus working together to enable it.

My OP 8 had it with Android 11 and Vodafone. With Android 12, I lost it. I'm looking to change my phone and I need this option.

It might also depend on the carrier. I'm on eir Ireland and it looks like they only support it for their bill pay offer.

Weird. Works fine here with Vodafone Netherlands.

I'm with BT (EE) and it works fine on my phone.

Nexus 6 5.1 update for T-Mobile

When the links were first published for 5.1, I flashed and installed the update through fast-boot and I am currently on 5.1 successfully. I have a t-mobile sim and I purchased this device from them. Today, they are pushing the 5.1 update which is the same as what I already have, but in addition, they are adding VolLTE. Now Im not sure if I already have that due to previously flashing it, or am I supposed to re-flash the T-Mobile variant of 5.1. Anyone have any input?

Never-mind, I looked around and apparently the build number for the nexus 6 t mobile carrier is different (LMY47M). And Yes, its LTE. So i guess I just have to wait till the new factory images are posted to Google and then eventually side-load the update.

Jio sim

Can Jio sim work in Mi4 and can i use mi4 to buy it
I know it's a stupid question lol:silly:
No, Jio works only on 4G phones, and the Mi3W or Mi4W is a 3G enabled phone only.

I got an update MIUI 8 Global 7.1.5 | Beta it shows support for JIO in Change log.
But, unable to find settings to enable VoLTE in preferred network type.
Please check screenshots and help to use Jio in Mi3.

That changelog is just a general one, not device specific.
I don't know why people keep asking how to enable 4G on a 3G phone through software. It is a hardware limitation and no software on earth can make a 3G receiver work on 4G frequencies because it isn't designed to work in that particular frequency at all.

Can't enable Chat in Google Messages

I am trying 'Chat' features in the Google Messages application, however I can't seem to do so. I see the option under Settings->Advanced, however, when I press on it, the app remains on 'Excuse the wait...'
I tried this multiple times and even a factory reset of the phone. Did anyone else have problems enabling RCS?
I am on Vodafone Romania.

I have the same problem. I'm on pixel XL 2 Rogers Canada.
Sorry to bump/necro, but any updates on this? Or does anyone know of a ROM that works with RCS?

Messages has had RCS support for ages. Your Carrier needs to enable it on their service though.

I guess my question is if I'm on a custom ROM will it still work? I assume TMobile can't push the universal protocol through on a custom ROM.

As far as i know it's all server side. Have you checked with your carrier to see if they support it?

I know they have started rolling it out, but I'm reading mixed things about what phones support it. Due for an upgrade soon anyway, but was hoping to test it out.

Question Help Needed - Upgrading to Android 13

UPDATE: I have updated the device and both sims are working fine (Screenshot attached). By the way, I find that my battery is crippled a bit. Maybe it gets better after a few days of use.
Dear All, Hi
I purchased OnePlus 10 Pro - NE2210 from the market which was loaded with NE2215 Rom. I have been using both sims on my phone.
Today, I received an official android 13 update. My question is that after updating to 13, will both sims be working? (as 2215 is the North American version which only has one sim active and I have heard from a fellow who was using OnePlus 9 Pro which lost one sim support after the update).
BTW, I received a security patch last month and it updated flawlessly.
If I lose my 2nd sim support, what would be the method to restore it? In case I want to convert my NE2215 to NE2213 (Europe variant) then what is the procedure?
Your guidance is much appreciated.
Regards.

Question Enable 5G NR??

Hello, my name is Matias, I am from Argentina, I have this great phone. My question is the following, in my country 5G is being implemented little by little, but until now I have not been able to see/connect to said network, the maximum that appeared on my phone was 4G+, guided by this post (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/is-your-5g-working-in-uk-on-x30-pro-china-variant.4546301/) I realized that I have the GSM/WCDMA/LTE (PRL) option selected by default and below I have the NR option (and its derivatives) searching a bit I found that the acronym NR refers to New Radio and is based on 5G, if someone could give me more info I would appreciate it.
Thanks
p.s.: in the mobile network part I have activated the 5G option (recommended)
Model: XT2241-1
Network Signal: NR/LTE/GSM/WCDMA
