OnePlus 10 Pro - QDLoader HS-USB - EDL Test Point [9008] MSM
Hello The test point on this phone was shared by me for the first time on the internet. But there is no software available to install it. So my phone is still dead. 9008 usb Requirements to establish a connection: - Disconnect the battery - Plug...

Driver installation is also required to establish the 9008 connection. You can read the instructions to implement this from my related threads.
We opened the back cover of the device, what should we do?
As it is written on the adhesive label of the device, you need to learn the Model code exactly.
The exact model is important even if different roms are installed. For example: NE2210
If you found out the device model, download the software.
NE2210

and where is the username and password of the utility? Why do you need to write in a personal? Post it here or file a complaint.

eek. Bricked xt1068 detected as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM3)

I have a dual SIM UK Moto G 2014. I made some resizing adjustments to the data partition and after rebooting I have nothing on the screen. Just black, no back-light. Windows 8 recognizes the device as Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM3). (I searched that but could only find posts for other devices suggesting sending them to the manufacturer). I did my best to google my way out of this but I think I need help.
Is this a scenario where I'd need MBM-CI 5.0? Or would that not help? I'm not sure what to do next.
Many thanks!
edit: If I send it for warranty repair would they check if I've modified it?
Okay. I'm sending it for repairs tomorrow with Motorola (unless anyone can think of a good reason not to).
Thanks.
Only thing I could find is this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/unbrick-hard-bricked-moto-g-2nd-gen-5-0-t2966010
Maybe there´s something that can help you.
I've actually tried the steps in that thread already. I disabled driver signing in Windows 8 and tried to apply the driver to the device but still disallows me from using it. It's not showing qh_usb so I wasn't expecting it to work.
BER
After chasing and chasing (what terrible customer service!) Motorola are saying my device is 'beyond economical repair' and are returning my device to me, and are saying they will not replace it because it is BER; I don't think that's the real reason they're not replacing it...but what can a guy do?
Any further advice before I go and buy a new phone?
Many thanks.
Their support came back and said that the mainboard was 'warped'. LOL.

Does that look warped to you? I'd sure as hell like to know what constitutes straight.

EDL deep flash cable not possible?

My A2 is in a boot loop, as explained in another thread. Hoping to get it into EDL mode, I created a simple deep flash cable from the USB-C cable that came with my A1 (stolen in Beijing – really have bad luck with these Xiaomi devices):

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
Once the A2 was off, I inserted the deep flash cable, with the green and black wires connected, i.e. shorted. Immediately the phone went into the boot loop. After about eight seconds, I separated the wires, with the phone still in the boot loop.
Is it possible that the A2 simply cannot be put into EDL mode with a deep flash cable? Or am I missing something?
Elsewhere I read that the A1 likely does not support the deep flash method. It is plausible that for its successor it’s the same.
Anyhow, in the end I solved the issue by using the test point method.
Is this confirmed? I bought a deep flash cable, and it is not working
Deep flash cabel function only on old generation Xiaomi devices. I have tried it on Redmi note 4 and even Mi Mix but with no luck.
The test point method works without any issues but you need to open the phone.
For newer devices like Redmi note 5 or Mi 8 you also need to have authorized Mi account.

Question diagnostics port via USB Debugging

We have a test 5G StandAlone network. I now have 2 phones working, and have tested more then 20 phones. One of the 2 phones is the OnePlus Nord CE 5G. I want to use this phone to run TEMS investigation software. https://www.infovista.com/tems/investigation
For this I need a diagnostics port via USB Debugging. TEMS telle me to run the command:
adb shell
su
setprop sys.usb.config diag,serial_cdev,rmnet,adb
I have rooted my OnePlus Nord CE (EB2103), running Android 11.0.11.11.EB13BA. When I start the RNDIS,Diag on the phone I get 3 devices on my Windows 11 Laptop:

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
I think I need Drivers to get this to work. Can you help me to find them? Or do I need to do something else?
If I search for these VID_05c6 and PID_90B6 I do find some reference to Qualcomm USB drivers but no site where I can download them.
Your help would be much appreciated.
P.S. I documented how I rooted my Oneplus Nord CE 5G because the documented methods gave me problems: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/root-on-oneplus-nord-ce-5g.4463269/
any help would be much appriciated.
Did you activate USB debugging in developer options? If yes, did you install android adb drivers? -> If not, follow this link and its instructions please:
Install OEM USB drivers | Android Studio | Android Developers
Discover links to the web sites for several original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), where you can download the appropriate USB driver for your device.
developer.android.com
If your PC can't find the correct driver by automatic search, do it manually as its described under the topic "Or, to upgrade an existing Android USB driver on Windows 7 and higher with the new driver"

you prolly cant using normal methods. the official xiaomi unlock tool requires an x64 win10 (prolly works on older OSs, but prolly requires more DLLs etc)
IDK if it works under wine, but borrowing windows PC may be easier
Try this tool(at your risk).

Click to expand...
Click to collapse
I understand...
What would be the version of TWRP for this smartphone?
I searched but did not find the information clearly.
it depends, if you want the roms available here, id suggest twrp 362 for olives
if you want newer roms not available here, youd want twrp 370 for mi439 (our cpu)
pm me if you want the telegram group info, sharing the group isnt allowed in xda since im not a dev

Question HELP on bricked device Redmi Note 11S (model 2201117SY)

Hi to all, hope someone can help us. I'm not new on updating custom firmware on smartphone but is quite a time that I did not tinkered with some device, and never played with a XIAOMI (I suppose that every brand has his peculiarities).
My sister has a XIAOMI REDMI NOTE 11S (i suppose by the model number on the back cover 2201117SY), so I hope to be posting on the right area.
It is a stock smartphone, no modification, root or other. At one point it bricked by itself and it is stuck at the boot with the MI logo.

(my apologize for the bad photo made by my sister)
our priority is to recover the data from the phone (files, images, etc.)
Then we can send it to the support or we can try to recover it with the powerful tools I will find here on the forum.
But as told our priority is to recover the data.
There is some tool that we can connect to the phone and try to recover the data without risking to wipe it (if there is still data accessible on the phone)?
Thank you in advance.
EDIT: my sister, tinkering with volup+power can reach the Recovery menu
for sure wipe data will do exactly what we do not want.
I'm not sure if safe mode will boot into a usable state without wiping the data. Someone can confirm this?
We will not proceed until we will be sure of the correct procedure.
Thanks again.
