Hi. I got a used xperia xz3 (SOV39) to use as my main device. The sim card was working fine were there were no issues in sending and receiving calls. I unlocked my phone using S1 network unlock tool to change the bootloader from no to yes and I have successfully unlocked the bootloader. However, my phone shows that the sim is not detected even though I inserted it and when i remove the sim tray the device restarts which it does when the sim card is inserted (tested with sd card only but did not restart) . Any solutions guys?

Hello ladies and gents
Some of you may have seen my previous thread about unlocking a friends phone. I ended up unlocking the phone, as well as sim unlocking the phone for her as she wanted. Here lies my issue, she did not give me her sim card when giving me her phone. So, instead I had to use my sim card for the s-off procedure, and for the sim unlock. My question is, now that I have used my SD card to place the config.dat file(sim unlock), is her sim unlock now dependent on my SD card, or can I remove my SD card and she still have access to the sim unlock?
You're good... take your card out and put the other in

previously i was on stock .290 rom with unlocked bootloader. i decided to update and first installed ihackers rom and also flashed doomkernel and then after a few days moved to stock .108 via flashtool. uptill then i had no sim card inserted in the phone. now when i insert a regular simcard it is detected and works fine. but when i insert a LTE enabled sim card it is not detected and neither the phone restarts or shows rebooting warning upon removing the sim tray. any suggestions on what could be the problem?
i also had a stuck sim in the phone which i had to remove a bit forcefully and hopefully no damage done or noticed. could that be the reason? although a regular or non lte sim works just fine. is there any way to check?
thanks
any one? help!
Did u flash the right ftf for the c6903 or was for some other model?. Cuz flashing a mis-matched baseband might cause stuff like this.
My GT-6500 was originally locked to T-Mobile. I unlocked the device to work on Virgin
Virgin PAYG is very expensive, so I want to try GiggGAff
Now I find whenever I insert any other carrier Sim Card its unrecognised
ie "Insert Sim Card"
The software is updated
Most common advice tells me its locked but its not
Any ideas would be helpful
I bought a Vodafone smart mini 7 recently, and I have rooted it successfully.
Then I tried to unlock it. So I downloaded SN write tool and tried to change its IMEI, but I failed because the phone could not connect to the computer correctly, some USB driver issues, or I used the wrong db files. So, the IMEI never changed, it is still the original one.
After so many attempts, I decided to buy a code. I paid for the code, but it doesn't work. I was told to reset the phone, change another SIM card and try again. At that time I realized I haven't put the Vodafone SIM card which was bought with the phone, maybe the phone need to be actived by a same brand SIM card. I put the Vodafone SIM card in my Vodafone phone, I found it was locked as well. That means Vodafone locked itself!
I flashed the preloader when I rooted it, and have a lot of failed attempts to flash IMEI. I don't know why can a Vodafone phone lock a Vodafone SIM card, and I would appreciate if someone can help me to unlock it.
