I have put country codes in all my contacts (local and international).
When I get a call from any local number, it won't show the name, just the number without the country code. (i.e. the number will not be matched to my contacts)
If I get a call from an international number, the phone will show the name and the number.
If I remove the country code from my local numbers, it is matched to the contact.
Am I doing something wrong?
Is there a solution to this problem?

I set my phone (AT&T Tilt) to block all outgoing caller ID and would like to be able to selectively turn this off by adding the usual #code prefix (usually *82 in the US) to the dialed number. Apparently, once you set the tilt to do this, you can not unblock the number without going back into phone settings and changing this setting. I spoke to AT&T who could not offer an answer or solution and they sent me to HTC who said it is a feature of WM and there is no solution unless the carrier provides one. I am never sure if AT&T support really knows the right answer - has anyone else dealt with this - is there any other code/#prefix that works or any other possible solution
Thanks!
Not sure if the codes are network dependent, but on Vodafone in the UK i dial *31# plus the number to dial. This will show my number for this call only.
HTH
Did you read the manual??? NO!!!!
Go to phone, selectect menu, select options, go to services tab, select caller ID, click get network settings, then select the one you want. AT&T does not support *69 & *82 on the Tilt.
Hey - how do you think I set the device to block caller ID Einstein? How about you read the post next time
I read a post talking about phone ID. What is that and where is that info found?
Thanks

You have a DEVICE ID (IMEI) and ANDROID ID.
IMEI can be found on label under your battery.
You can also dowload the ID program from market that will display your
android id, device id, and sim card id.
I used mobile number portability to change my network operator I was given a new SIM after activation I inserted the SIM in my Xperia Z1, Even after entering every pin and password it keeps on messaging to my friends numbers that a new sim is inserted in phone.
Everytime I enter pin for unlocking screen, I get popup asking for security password from myXperia settings How can I get rid of it

This means that you have set up MY XPERIA on the phone in Security in the past so that the phone cannot be accessed with a different simcard. What you can do now is either put your old simcard in and then go into Settings>Security>Device Administrators and disable My Xperia. Otherwise try logging in to myxperia.sonymobile.com with your google account and see if you can deactivate it from there.

Hello,
In my carrier I need to dial : *710# to check my credit
but when I dial my lg asks me to complete 10 digits to enable call forwarding, I think in Verizon you can enable call forwarding by typing : *71xxxxxxx
Is it possible to remove it ?
Thank you
