Lineage OS on S20 FE Snapdragon (4G)

Hey,
I installed twrp bootloader on my device and i would like to know if it is possible for me to install and use lineage os on my device? I saw that there is an unofficial custom lineage os rom for the Exynos Version. Since i'm having the Snapdragon Version i'm searching for a lineage os rom that is supporting my device. Does anybody know where to find one?

there isn't one currently but one is being worked on for the 5G version. I wouldn't expect it anytime soon, maybe a good few more months. but once that is complete it should be relatively straight forward to port it to the 4G snapdragon version.

Or is there another OS that would allow me to have a degoogled and privacy-friendly smartphone?

you can run a GSI like that or there's also a version of Lineage posted in the roms and recoveries section already for F model FEs. I doubt that comes with gapps so using MicroG should be straight forward.

Hello everyone!! Every since google introduced gai i really want to install it on my Samsung galaxy a71 (4G) because i hate one ui. However i wanna know if my galaxy A71 has dynamic/Super partitions in order to install android 12 into my phone properly.

note 8 snapdragon lineage os help

its been a few years since i modded a phone. i recently got my hands on a used samsung galaxy note 8 {factory unlocked/no carrier} with a snapdragon processor.
model # SM-N950U1
Im searching around this forum but most of the info is for exynos processors.
i need to unlock the bootloader and root so that i can install
LineageOS 19.1.​how can i do this?

The snapdragon version is called the "greatqlte". You can root it via twrp, but I'm not sure about custom rom support, and definitely not lineage19.1.
The snapdragon version has basically no support on xda. Someone posted a question similar to yours a while back.

I don't think there are any roms.. I think I saw an oreo one, but you're probably better off sticking to oneui on android 9, which is stable (unlike the oreo build).
You can still root and debloat/customise your phone via magisk modules etc.

Question Any developer working on a custom ROM for 10R? 😅

I know it's too soon to ask this question but still I wonder. Also, I know since this is a MediaTek device possibility of getting a stable custom ROM is next to impossible.
(For those who aren't aware, Nord 2 is also a MediaTek device and it has few very stable ROMs).
I hope we get some good developers who can develop atleast few AOSP custom ROM.

Looks like the combination of <India Only + MediaTek + Overshadow by 10 Pro & 10T + Moving from OOS to ColorOS> killed this phone.
Sad that I'll be on stock ROM till I get frustrated and buy a new non-OnePlus phone.

Exactly! I am already looking for a better device with good development and is upgrade worthy.

OnePlus 10R is the indian version with ColorOS. OnePlus Ace is the global version with OOS and all 5G bands

10R - Indian - with OxygenOS
Ace - Chinese - with ColorOS

I can't really speak for the indian version, but I've bought Ace global version and it's OxygenOS + all 5G bands. However, in the About section of the phone it says OnePlus 10R 5G, even though everything else in the box refers to the phone as OnePlus Ace. A little confusing, but it's essentialy the same phone, just differents roms I guess?

I guess you have imported the phone. What the seller do is they flash OxygenOS (10R's firmware) on Chinese OnePlus Ace and sell.

Device is very disappointing one, it my first and last one plus device.

Following are under development for 10R, that I am aware of,
TWRP
LOS recovery/fastboot
LOS Custom ROM.
But don't ask for ETA, Devs are trying their best considering they have exams and they are not getting any help from other experienced(in MediaTek device) Devs.
OnePlus is technically dead. Oppo not releasing unbrick tool is one of the major contributor.
