here you can find my version of LineageOS 20.0 for our Samsung Galaxy S3 (I9300).
At first I want to thank @rINanDO, @ChronoMonochrome for all your work on these devices!
Also thanks to @daviiid99 for your efforts in fixing RIL and other stuff, it safed much time.
This is an alpha version, it's not finished from the LineageOS side and also not from mine,
please do not report bugs.

You could use a gps.conf from https://app.box.com/s/w57s1v1n3hie7l5lk28i for your location and replace /vendor/etc/gps.conf.
Or you try GPS Server Optimizer app for a faster 3D fix.
For both methods you need root rights.
I would recommend to use microG instead of BitGapps,
here you can find the installation instructions:

Enabled forcing wideband, this fixes the robotic sound for most phone calls, but still remains for some other calls, I'm working on this

Ya for Official ROMs...like the official AOSP, CM, AOKP, CarbonROM, etc...but this is an unofficial build so i can pre-include gapps...

I'm looking for a Galaxy S5 ROM that is closest to stock Android. What is the difference between this one and Nexus Experience ROM? I see that one hasn't been updated for quite a while...

This ROM is much closer to stock android and will get weekly updates..It is much more stable and has some added useful features...I think you will be much more satisfied with this ROM

Does turning bluetooth off and on again work without a reboot? A lot of Lollipop roms right now have bluetooth working, but as you said, sharing FC's, and you can't turn bluetooth back on without a reboot if you turn it off.

Why didn't you just continue the Nexus Experience thread?

Lineage officialy don't support substranum theme engine yet but dont know if this unofficial does support it ?
Anyway if u wanna use themes properly u can find roms with OMS word in thread title

Is this rom by any chance only for G935F users? I have a G935S and I still get the "Error 7" despite cleanly installing and using the method to fix it.

He just can't put his builds official until GPS is fixed

build is stable
everything works as listed...

only one question: how is camera's quality?

Everything seems to be good so far.
Only installed the rom last night though.
Battery life seems good.
No crashes or FC

The ROM is running great. The only missing feature I can find is a working USB data transfer connection. Only charging is working through the port.

HDMI out work fine? With leaving the house being pretty discouraged, maybe I'll give this a try. But HDMI is a must for me.

One observations on current version:
* phone and notification volume always linked

Netflix/hangouts meet working ?
What about 3rd party chargers, rapid charging supported?

No data on USB means no Android Auto
Finally got this up and running (after much banging of my head against the proverbial wall). All is smooth and excellent, with one exception (noted above): no data through USB means that Android Auto doesn't work, either.

Check Settings > Sound and look for the toggle labeled "Link ring & notification volumes." I think that will de-couple, if I'm understanding what you're talking about.

Yes, the setting is there, but even disabled the two sliders move together.

Interesting! I'm not having the same experience. For me they are working independently.
My biggest issue at this point is trying to get Android Auto to work properly.

Solved: it was GravityBox.

Update 2020-03-19
Kernel Changes:
- Removed some kernel debugging configs
- Removed unnecessary cpu governors
Vendor Changes:
- Update Vendor Security Patch to Feburary 5, 2020
- Update build_fingerprint to January 5, 2020
LineageOS Changes:
- Some minor rom changes
Bugs:
- MTP doesn't work

Unfortunately, the developer that maintains the LineageOS device tree for mata has not fixed it yet. Once it is fixed, I'll merge it in.

Does the lack of MTP for data transfer break other USB functions? Does USB OTG work? USB accessories? HDMI out?

I have only tried my USB C flash drive which works. I don't have the HDMI out connector or any USB accessories to test it.

Does 'Hey Google' work?

How to install
- Flash Create Vendor zip from @ananjaser1211's Spaget project and reboot to recovery.
- Download any ARM32_Binder64 A-only Android 9/10 GSI(Or simply A64 A-only GSI)
- Download latest ReaperTreble Zip
- Reboot to recovery and wipe System, Vendor, Cache/Dalvic and Data(Wiping internal storage isn't necessary)
- Flash GSI and ReaperTreble zip(or the otherway around)
- Reboot to system and enjoy

It works very well on Havoc-OS 3.4 A64 GSI.

Hardware keys recents button doesnt work anymore.....
After the new 3.0 update the hardware recents button doesnt work.....works in Havoc os gsi but doesnt work on evo x or any other gsi......

Hardware buttons on evox is bugged cz of gapps, i still don't know why the recents button isn't working ??. Still trying to figure out tho.

in Reaper v2.3 I had no probs but in v3.0 Im starting to have problems...…
BTW to boot the evo x gsi I had to do an ADB command...….it was buggy as hell w/o this command...…..
U myt want to add this in ur instructions for all gsis with gapps
adb shell settings put secure user_setup_complete 1
adb shell settings put global device_provisioned 1
OR
just flash OpenGapps on top BEFORE BOOT
