Help with restoring stock bootloader C.38 - Realme X2 Pro Questions & Answers

I'm on C.38, and I would like to restore to factory settings. I have an unlocked bootloader running Orangefox recovery and I need help with restoring back to stock recovery and bootloader so I can update to latest firmware and use banking apps without root.
I tried using in-depth test app to revert back to default but it does not work. I could use your help with this.
My phone model is Global/India variant.

Returning to stock

Hi, I am running ARHD 10.3 with the new updated firmware, should I wish to go back to stock to take the official 4.2.2 update when it arrives (made a backup using twrp before I flashed twrp recovery) do I just restore my stock backup and do I have to relock my bootloader?
I believe you'd need both a stock recovery as well as a locked bootloader. Flashing an RUU would be an easy route, or restoring the Nandroid Backup, flashing stock recovery and locking bootloader. I am not so sure you actually need a locked bootloader, but do it just to be safe.

Thanks I have stock recovery in my backup
Well then all you need is to relock the bootloader and unlock it after receiving the OTA update. Again, I am not sure if you actually need to do that, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

((SOLVED)) HTC one mini 2 Restore to factory settings with enabled OTA updates

can any one please share ? i'd like to get the OTAs badly. Rooted my phone, installed custom recovery, now i want to the stock recovery back, also i relocked the bootloader. Will this allow me to get OTAs normally after i flash the stock recovery back ? thanks.
I need version 2.16.401.5, thanks.
i tried flashing with the 2.16.401.1 recovery but getting "signature verify fail", could it be because i installed superuser with TWRP recovery ?If so, how can i fix it ?
EDIT: i guess i did it, forgot to unlock the bootloader, dont know why i locked it again lol, anyways, installed 401.1 recovery and did a factory reset. Is this it ? or do i need to unroot the device with supersu that i have installed and relock the bootloader ? I did not install any custom roms, so the rom is HTC stock, but i installed superuser with TWRP. Will this do any harm ?
Okay i did some research and i FIXED the problem and was able to get OTA update back.
this is what i did:
-Unlocked Bootloader (which i forgot obviosly)
-Installed TWRP (http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-mini-2/orig-development/recovery-twp-2-7-1-0-one-mini-2-t2801370)
-Downloaded original nandroid backup (thanks to Kativiti) (http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-mini-2/help/img-rom-ruu-request-t2847860) (nandroid backup: https://mega.co.nz/#!msthgIJB!WF5r4CwkXOg3Xda1YP_ESAKRNeY7AC5jkA_tIW65PwU
-made a recovery to show me where i need to copy the backup on my sdcard to
-copied the backup there and made a restore in TWRP
-then flashed the original bootloader back (thanks to: djluisbento) (thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-mini-2/help/request-original-recovery-img-t2809031) , also make sure you flash the 2.16.401.1 recovery because the nandroid backup is also 2.16.401.1 version. (stock recovery download: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B4sLrKlVs0CPMXZMb2FJNGFOdEE&usp=sharing)
-after i did all that stuffs i was able to get the 2.16.401.5 update and it works flawlessly. And to not forget my CID is HTC__032.
Thanks guys for these files and thanks to this forum. You saved me, you are the best. Cant believe i fixed it so easily. May god bless you

Twrp dubt

Hi , i want root and install twrp but , can i , after unlock bootloader ,install twrp and root my device restore it later with stock firmware/recovery/rom/bootloader?
And how backup stock fw/bootloader/recovery from my unrooted device?
It's possible. I think you should do this... Before rooting, if you have not already done that, in TWRP, don't allow system modifications when it boots up. Then make a full backup(which is your stock rom unrooted) and save it. Then even after rooting, coming back to stock would just need a reflash in TWRP.

After an OEM relock half of the apps disappeared and Bluetooth doesn't work.

I had an unlocked EVA-L09C09 with B361 installed, I've installed TWRP and a few months later I've decided that I no longer want a locked device, so I've relocked, it restored factory data and now I can't turn on bluetooth and the phone missed a normal keyboard and other apps (like Camera).
After unlocking it again the problem still persists, how can I fix that?
TWRP cache/dalvik wipe doesn't help.
Also, does anyone have the EVA-L09C09B361 firmware? I can't find it using the firmware finder :/
Thanks.
Okay, I've found the firmware.
How do I flash it?
I have 2 zips: update_data_full_p4_pl.zip, update.zip.
I don't have the stock recovery, can I still flash them?

The solution to your problem here?

Update b357

Hi,
Today I received ota update to b357 for my nem L51.
Could not install it since I have custom recovery + root + unlocked bootloader.
How can I update?
My idea would be:
Flash stock recovery + recovery2 from fastboot
Install ota
Flash again TWRP
Will it work? Don't know if my bootloader will lock again after ota update...
Thanks in advance
Unroot first, Flash stock boot.img and stock recovery then download ota and reboot.
Thanks shashank1320!
I flashed stock boot + recovery and then updated my phone.
Unfortunately OTA update restored my bootloader and I had to unlock it again.
Anyway after unlocking I flashed TWRP recovery and rooted with Magisk with no issues.

Hi @deframat,
I'm in the same situation as you were: from B350 I have to update to B357 and I will go the same route you did. However, since you stated that the OTA update restored your bootloader, this means you had to install all over again all your apps and settings. I wonder if I make a Titanium backup of everything, will I be able to restore the phone as it was before the update? Any drawbacks I'm unaware of?
Thank you
Hi Wallace108,
I don't use Titanium backup because I prefer a fully fresh install when flashing new fw.
Anyway since this update is quite light (only security patch and other small improvements) I think you will have no problem if you restore some backed up apps.
