Hello, my name is Maxim, I decided to unlock the bootloader and install TWRP. I unlocked the bootloader, flashed it through fastboot adb TWRP, after which I got bootloop recovery, then I flashed the firmware with the format option + download and when it was turned on, the download was not completed now! please press volume + and press power button 10s to turn off. then upload again. if necessary, will be blocked here 60 s before automatic shutdown. error: 0x992566
Please help me how to fix this? so as not to carry to the service center. What tools do I need so I can fix it myself for free?

3G and 3.5G data connection drops or cannot be established (Solution Included)

Hi,
Over the last few months, thanks to the efforts of many, I have flashed my shift rom dozens of times to try the latest roms. All these roms worked well on my shift. However, one day, I found my shift couldn't establish 3G/3.5G connections anymore.
Before connection, the signal shows [H]. During connection, it changes to [3G] and but fails to establish the connection. Then it automatically retries. This time the signal changes to [G] (GPRS), and a data connection can be successfully established. However, if I load any page on IE, the [G] connection will be automatically accelerated to [H]...Just at this time, the connection is terminated. And after that, no matter what I do, how many retries, it just can't get reconnected. I need to reset the entire WinMO.
PS/I tested different SIM cards (also different telecom providers) on my shift, and got the same result.
Any idea? Do I need to flash the radio rom?

After a least 100 rounds of test and trial, i have solved.
I think it will be helpful to explain how i did it, as i believe, some people may have encountered the same problem...
I used ShiftFLASHTools.ZIP mentioned in the following link to extract some of the roms I flashed...

I found all these roms were built with only OS.
So no matter what new roms I flash, the radio rom will never be changed.
Therefore, I began to search for reference to cook a rom myself.

Be warned that not all the radio roms can be used on shift.
I downloaded the version originally loaded on SHIFT (1.58.21.23_25). Because this radio rom is built for Niki not for SHIFT
so I extracted it and rebuilt it for SHIFT using NBHUtil.exe included in ShiftFLASHTOOLs.ZIP
**Note that after you download the radio rom and execute it, files will be extracted in the folder \documents and settings\administrator(or your account)\local settings\temp\xxx\
Copy the .nbh file to another temp folder. Extract this file using ShiftFLASHTOOLS.
Finally, i flashed it with CustomRUU.exe (for SHIFT)

I sucessfully followed your instructions and made a radio flash file for my Shift. It has cured a problem it had where the Windows Mobile hanged up after one hour if the radio was on.
I've uploaded a zip with the CustomRUU and the radio flash file in case anybody else needs it.

Your effort is appreciated.
I must inform too that installed the Custom RUU you provided but didn't get the Radio verse changed. instead, the problem get worse & I'm not ask to keep the connection alive. It is disconnecting every few seconds & hardly get it back unless switch off Vista & take the battery out to switch off snapView too.
Can yin please help me it this because m? shift is going, to be hit & crashed in a moment when I lose my patience.

Я переделал в соответствии с описанием в первом посте это радио, т е получил 1.58.21.23_25 modded for shift, могу выложить на файлообменник, но проблемы с 3G конектом это не решает сразу предупреждаю, чтоба проблеммы не возникало - зайдите в настройки-телефон-band, в разделе "seletct network type" выберите руками GSM, модем станет работать нормально но конектится только через GPRS и EDGE, извиняюсь за офтоп что пишу по русски, но сейчас в роуминге пишу через этот самый Shift через GPRS поэтому зайти в онлайн переводчик нет возможности, переведите кому не сложно на англ
Сейчас попробую тоже самое проделать с RUU_Nike_Radio_1.71.09.01_25.75.40.02K, может это поможет....

I don't speak russian (I suppose)... Please, try in english! I resolve it, but just for a month! Now my shift is like one month ago: cannot connect to hsdpa, and automatically connect to 3g, gprs, edge.... Have you found a better solution?

Yes , at connection attempt through 3g the network is lost, has solved a problem switching-off 3g in winows mobile so works stably, but only through gprs and edge... Try, it can to you modded radio will help as well as to the author.

I have a serious problem with my D5803 that makes me feel very bad. I think i have a brick.
Symptoms: sim card not detected, main camera doesn't work (it can shoot 4к video but doesn't take photos).
Service menu shows many strange things such as: IMEI Software version unknown, Rooting status unknown, HW Config rev unknown, unknown error near all strings in sim lock menu:crying:
**** has happened after my poor attempt to flash marshmallow concept using 0.9.19.10 flashtool. I think Simlock.ta file has been flashed because i've unchecked it in flashtool's excludes.
Flashing stock roms using any version of flashtool doesn't help. I saw here on xda a couple of posts with similar problem but no solution for it.
Any ideas? I need a Sony Service Centre?

lock back your phone with flashtool if you have unlocked it with that beforehand...

Инструкция по восстановлению плеера при прошивке без галочки SimLock для тех, кто прошивал флештулом версии 0.9.19.6 и выше (S1 Dump в наличии)
Начиная с 0.9.19.6 флештул делает перед прошивкой бекап ТА в двух файлах 1.ta и 2.ta
Эти файлы лежат в C:\Users\имя пользователя\.flashTool\registeredDevices\Ваше устройство\s1ta\Дата и время прошивки
Обратите внимание, что нужен дамп именно прошивки без SimLock на SimLock (т.е. самый первый), так как в поздних дампах нужная информация уже отсутствует.
Порядок действий:
Для восстановления нам нужен файл 2.ta и файл simlock.ta.
1. simlock.ta достаем из прошивки.
1.ta и 2.ta берем из C:\Users\имя пользователя\.flashTool\registeredDevices\Ваше устройство\s1ta\Дата и время прошивки
2. Открываем файлы с помощью Notepad++.
3. Смотрим на содержимое файла simlock.ta. Например, для Sony Xperia Z3 в файле есть строка 000007DA с кодом, в который зашифрована вся информация по поводу SimLock. Не уверен, но для остальных Sony Xperia скорее всего так же. Делаем вывод, что именно эту строку мы заменили при прошивке и ее нужно вернуть обратно.
4. Открываем S1 Dump и ищем эту строку. В моем случае эта строка находится в файле 2.ta практически с начала (четвертая строка). Копируем эту строку и вставляем ее вместо той, что была simlock.ta. Замену проводить очень внимательно, чтобы скопировать все необходимое и ничего лишнего.
5. Сохраняем simlock.ta с новой строкой и добавляем его в архив прошивки.
6. Прошиваем через флештулл опять без галочки, должен зашиться наш файл с родными данными.

OK. Check if you have back up for your phone in C:\Users\(name your computer, or something like that)\.flashTool\registeredDevices\(your phone serial number)\s1ta\
First, open simlock.ta(which is in ftf file. Extract it to somewhere) with Notepad ++. You will see a line contain something like 000007DA. . . .
Second, open 2.ta with Notepad ++. You'll see the line that same with simlock.ta. Replace that line(with same header) from 2.ta to simlock.ta, save simlock.ta then use flashtool to creat a firmware with new simlock.ta had mod then flash it to your phone.
Warning: don't use other s1ta if you don't have a backup of your phone. It's make your phone totally waste, until you have the right backup. Becareful when process

1 - To edit simlock.ta you can use some Texteditor eg: notepad, wordpad, notepad++ (i used notepad++).
2 - in 2.ta, you copy all characters from line 000007DA and paste to simlock.ta and match same like old simlock.ta.
3 - when you flash simlock.ta just untick SIMLOCK in MiscTA Exclude at panel on the right. When flashing, Flashtool will give warning like "flash TA at 000007DA very dangerous", process if you edited from right phone.

I have that same on Z2 but I don't have backup (too old flashtool).
Trying to flash simlock.ta from Central Europe 1 firmware is bad idea ? I know messing with ta partition is bad idea but if previous flash didn't broke phone maybe it will also not broke.
Otherwise I will must send to xperia care, maybe they take this on warranty...
BTW. My version of flashtool skip flashing simlock.ta so why phone is broken..

If you don't have any ta backup then send phone to Sony is the best option. I think simlock.ta from FTF firmwares may be all the same for xperia phone.

Hi Pavlik. My D6503 was like your D5803. You have to fix the problem yet.

Every Sony phones has separate 1.ta and 2.ta. Don't mix from this phone to another or you will have a totally brick phone.

I Followed your instruction but when flashing say TA 000007DA entry parsing failed

I badly need your help with my POCO M3 Pro 5G. I tried to flash a Europian stock Rom for my phone. The flash was successful until it showed DM VERITY CORRUPTION and when I press the power button, it is only stuck in the bootlogo. I ran out of solution on how to get this resolved. Can someone help me out on how to get this fixed? The only way for me to connect to phone is only with fastboot mode.
I really would appreciate your help. Thanks in advance!

I almost had it permanently bricked. Dang it! I tried the clear and lock option and got my phone locked again(stupid move). Good thing I can still flash via sideload. Thank you so much sir for the help!

But which version? Global,EEA,CN etc.....
You had to flash the rom which corresponds to the version of the phone and relock, (maybe what you did).

is NOT bootloop, press POWER button when you see that message and it boots !
also.. read the post of " ROOT GAINED " you need to flash VmBETA.img
8 - fastboot commands:
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
P.S. the same happened to me when i first installed another rom.. DM verity corruption .. so just press power button.. if doesn't work press it again and again .. trust me is NOT in bootloop !

But it's doesn't work on my X60Pro+ and the bad thing — this apk kills my default camera! Now I cannot restore it
Any ideas how to get my camera back?

Плохой совет, недобрый даже я б сказал.
Я нашёл получше вариант: зайти в инфо камеры и удалить обновление.
