Hey there,
I have a Sony Xperia 10 II XQ-AU52 with 2 Simcards. Till now i had Sailfish OS running on it but recently decided to go back to android.
I used this thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-1-for-xperia-10-ii-gcam-performance.4219081/) to put lineage OS on the phone.
Here i forgot that im supposed to first install the android 11 Stock rom first before flashing the recovery and installing the actual lineago OS 18...
So now i flashed the lineage recovery (which works totally fine... i can switch to fastboot and to bootloader) and im unable to flash anything anymore.
Trying to flash the Lineage OS 18 via sideload gives me a notification at 0%.
I also tried to use flashertool in order to flash the stock rom. Unfortunately flashertool wont recognize my phone, neither on my debian pc (where i can actually sideload via Terminal) no on my Windlows pc (there is a diver problem that seems to be unsoveable. the machine just shows android device or xperia 10 II but apparently without drivers even after getting the original drivers fromthe xperia page)
Anyone with an Idea how to solve that problem?
Best Regards -JayJay-

Hi!
I'm new here and I have a problem, a huge one to be specific. The main problem: my phone don't want to boot at all, no sony logo, no anything, just a flash of the bottom light (previously a vibration, but for some reason its gone...). When I plug it to my pc it puts itself to flash mode. I previously put existenz 3.0.0 on it without any trouble and I wanted to put Cyanogenmod 11 on it becouse I didn't liked existenz that much. But afterwards my phone don't want to boot. I tried to flash a standard android 4.1 onto it but it just stopped for some reason and stuck. Btw it's a T-mobile phone, and the bootloader is locked.
WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!? :crying:
Flash for your model .ftf with flashtools
Yes, flash for your model .ftf with flashtool! Then the phone will work!

It is best to try again. I hope it will work. Just make sure the ftf you downloaded is for your device. Also make sure drivers are properly installed. To have all drivers installed, navigate to Flashtool install directory, there is a folder called "drivers", get into it and run the installer there in. Choose "flashmode drivers" and "fastboot drivers". Scroll down a bit, find "Common drivers for Viskan board" and tick that as well.
Your phone can still boot up - that's a good indicator. If it does not react at all, you could have been told by the community that your device was hard bricked. Luckily it isn't.
thanks for all the replys, flashing worked and its running cm11 with ő ne probléma: it cannot fibd the internal storage , anyag solutions?
Hi guys,
I got an unlocked, rooted Xperia T with CyanogenMod 12 and the Cyanogen recovery on it. Because i could not install any new roms through this recovery I tried some other thing and did something quite stupid: I think i deleted some USB-OTG software from my phone. Now i cannot access recovery anymore, cannot get my phone to factory default and i'm not able to link my phone to my computer, the computer only responds in fastboot. Any suggestions how i could get my phone working properly again.
Thanks!
Greetings everyone.I happen to own a Sony Xperia Z1 which I bought around a month back ,carrier locked (Orange France). The stock carrier ROM was much of a wreck,so I decided to try Cyanogenmod ...but alas, turns out my " bootloader unlocking allowed:: no".So I started looking for stock based custom ROM,and flashed DstrikerZ1KaiROM_SP004 based on the latest official android 5xx.and before that I flashed this recovery Z1-lockeddualrecovery2.8.26-RELEASE.combined,everything was going fine until the people on the other side complained that they are unable to properly hear me in conversations, and the microphone sounds muffled.I googled about it and found that although there exists some tuts to adhere to this situation ,the newest firmware was the main culprit...So,tired of all these,at last I decided to flash a stock android 4.4.4 kitkat based rom TrinityVengeanceRaptorXHD_1.3.the ROM looked beautiful and promising in the screenshots.I downloaded it and flashed it.But before flashing I also did one thing I went to wipe>>advanced options in twrp and deleted everything dalvik cache, system,sd card...everything that could be ticked,I intended to do a clean install, after that I flashed the Trinity ROM,the aroma installer asked for necessary inputs and the installation proceeded without incident, then the phone asked to reboot. After reboot the phone wont start up any more.I pressed the power key,I could feel the device vibrating but the screen won't light up.Then I tried pressing the power button and volume down button, the screen lights up for a moment showing the spash screen "SONY >>>>>>>XPERIA" and then turns off.I tried connecting to Androxyde's Flashtool ,the phone is not detected as Sony Xperia Z1 c6903 but rather as a generic device in flash mode ,no button combination needed for this ,like it was the default state, connected through usb to the pc and flashtool detects it as a flashmode device,I also tried tapping the volume up key,and this time it gets connected as a fastboot generic device.I even downloaded the stock sony firmware 14.6.A.1.157 global but flashtool didnot read the ftf.Yeah I did install all the flashtool drivers after disabling Driver Signature Enforcement (win 10 64bit) and drivers installed without issue, but still the phone was not detected,I have minimal adb and fastboot installed, the device gets enlisted as a fastboot device to "fastboot getvar version",but not as a adb device,(I guess because altough USB DEBBUGGING was turned on initially,I deleted everything so it must have been disabled and the new kitkat rom which I installed didnot gave me the chance to boot and use the ROM,the phone never booted after the install.SO,BASICALLY I AM OUT OF OPTIONS AND SOUNDING SOS :crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
thanks in advance for reading my long post,
may be you guys can resurrect my phone
really appreciate any help...
I bought a Xperia SP M35t(China Mobile version with LTE)because of interested of it,but the Android version is too low(Just 4.1.2),and I can't connect to Google Services because it was deleted.
So I want to flash it to Android 7.1.1(Mokee rom),but when I to flash the recovery(TWRP huashan) to boot,it bricks.
I tried to use the Flashtool, but in Windows PC it can't install its drivers
And in another Kali-rolling PC (2020.2),I can't use Flashtool too.
I tried to flash all images myself, but when I flash the system.sin(unzip from an 12.0.c.2.58 ftf),the Fastboot(from Kali-rolling's debian sources and up-to-date)told me that it was too big.
Now I only flashed the kernel.sin, and I can only see a China Mobile's 4G Logo on screen and nothing works.
Any ways to solve it?
Hello everybody,
I'm a long time reader of this forum, started my Android experience with HTC Magic and have always been able to root/flash custom ROMs on every phones I had.
I'm now trying to unlock the bootloader for my Xperia 10 (I4113) in order to flash AOSP, but I'm having a few problems:
- I cannot access fastboot, recovery, or flash mode with the instructions on the Sony website (hold volume rocker buttons and plug cable): for fastboot I get the blue LED for a few seconds but then the phone seems to turn off again. Also trying "adb reboot bootloader" or "adb reboot recovery" does not help and the phone reboots in Android
- I have tried to re-flash stock firmware via Xperia Companion app but it gets stuck at downloading the firmware and never progresses (firmware download never really starts from what I can see)
If it can help, when I power on my phone from a powered off state, a triangle icon with screwdriver and wrench pops up for some time before the phone boots: I have learned from past experience with Xperia phones that it means something went wrong applying an OTA and it should be fixable by restoring the firmware via Xperia Companion, which I'm not able to do.
Has anybody had this problem with their Xperia 10 (or another relatively recent Xperia)? Can someone provide further ideas of how I could access fastboot on this phone?
Just leaving a note here as I managed to solve my problem with Xperia Companion and proceed with firmware restore.
I am running Windows 11 and after I disabled Windows firewall completely and ran Xperia Companion as administrator, it was able to download the firmware and proceed with the operation.
I don't believe running the software as administrator might have made much difference, I believe disabling Windows firewall is what did the trick here.
