for some reasons, Google Now only connects to wifi and nothing esle. Weird!!! I've searched here and on google with no answer. Just wanna put this out to see if anyone has a solutions to the problem.
I have tried to install/access Google play on my KF for days without luck. I just noted that I cannot access the internet site of Google Play on my computers, not even company computer @ work. I guess they can read the ip and then automatically blocks it. My residence is in the Caribbean. Now I tried to access it on somebody's else computer (Europe, via logmein) and it seems to work over there.
Does anybody have a solution for me?
Help is very much appreciates

profgokker,
Unfortunately this is a common occurrence with Corporate networks, they block anything that may be
used to download software, games, music and movies. Google Play Store would be tied to all these
topics. If you can not access Google Play Store through your Web Browser, then it is true that your
company is blocking Google Play Store. Google Play does work in the Caribbean so if you have
internet access at home you could use Google Play at your Residence. Sometimes you can use
a Proxy Server to get through the network but many Corporate Networks sense Proxy Servers as
well. It is best to try and make this work at home, not your office since playing with Proxy Servers
can get a person terminated from the company.

It seems that is has started working again, but now I realize that my 7100 (Note 2) can install apps without any problems, but my samsung tablets get the error message stating that apps not available in my country. very strange indeed.

Apparently the Caribbean has lost the License to obtain google app store. thats why you cant open it neither in your android or you PC.

Hi,
I´m not a developer, but would describe myself as an advanced user and found a few helpful topics here at XDA.
Currently I´m almost succeeding in degoogling my phone, without root. This is a choice not to end up with update/warranty issues.
I currently have two primary issues.
1) I can´t disable com.xiaomi.finddevice without causing problems. This service is constantly reporting on me and has permissions for camera, contacts, files/media, location, phone and SMS. A temporary solution is to block it via NetGuard, but I would like a longer term solution.
2) The phone is constantly trying to connect to the Google server 216.58.202.106 / 2800:3f0:4002:802::200a, probably to detect my true IP address.
I´m not keen on anybody like Google, Alibaba, Xiaomi or the like to spy on me, so I´ve filed a legal notice to Google, but don´t expect to get anywhere with an ignorant evil organization like that, so I have to solve the problem on my own.

I have to clarify that for me deGoogling means not having to use any Google applications, Google Play Services or having any Google services reporting on me. Further I don´t want any connections to the Internet, that´s not essential for my use of the phone. Currently I´m scanning the network traffic with NetGuard or PCAPdroid, to identify who´s trying to connect.
