Nice bundle. Got mine (lte version) from a local shop near my work place at around $550 (peso-dollar conc is not really that great here) it comes with flip cover and powerbank (to be shipped in 3 days) and they havr this 'raffle' stub and you could win either a galaxy gear 2neo, samsung control pad, and this samsung 1tb access anywhere sync thing. I managed to get the galaxy gear 2 so im overall happy with what I got. They also included a samsung keystone 2 if you want a fancy paper weight. Got the white tab version

(after 100 years) finally the Tab S is in saudi arabia

extra stores is selling them now but sadly no wifi only LTE versions are sold. But they sell them cheaper than the introductory price in bahrain.
anybody bought them yet in Saudi? what freebies were there? saudi government might have removed the freebies who knows

Honestly you can find every phone and tablet in SA before any other place and you can find them in good prices too!

thats true but in the tab S' case saudi arabia is probably the last country to get it

extra stores has a promo now that if you buy at least a tab s 8.4 (price 1999 SAR or more) you get a free "prime" tablet 7 inches though i dont know exactly what type of brand this prime is

Hi yesterday I've looked around for the galaxy tab s 8.4 and all I found is the LTE version with exynos octa core processor made in Vietnam. I'm not sure if the device supports all 4g bands TDD and FDD in Saudi. Anyone has any information about the device?

Yesterday, I purchased 8.4 LTE (4G) Titanium Bronze from Extra Store (Al-Khober). The price is 1999/SAR. It is having Exynos 5 Octa Quad-core 1.9 GHz & Quad-core 1.3 GHz. As expected it is awesome. The brown and golden color combination looks amaizing.
Now the thing thats missing is the case/cover. No body has its cover. Not in Jarir, Not in Extra. I want "Simple Cover", but even if I find "Book Cover" I will purchase it.
Anyone has any idea where to find the case/cover in KSA. It is really risky to use it without cover.

That's right, you can barley find the simple and cover book that's why I ordered my book cover from Amazon and it costs me about 245 S.R with shipping. :good:

What about Expansys Saudi Arabia... is it wise to order case from them online? They seems to have "Simple Cover" in stock.

MST transmitter?

Someone should make one like the qi receivers for the Note 4. I contacted Looppay who sells the MST cards but they only replied back the galaxy s6 and Note 5 has it built in.

I was literally researching this topic an hour ago... Here are my findings:
Samsung acquired LoopPay back in February 2015. LoopPay had a few products aimed at iPhones to give it contactless payment using MST.
2. LoopPay has 2 different products according to their site; MST sleeve for the iPhone 5/5s/6/6Plus and a standalone "card" that is programmable.
There is no official news that Samsung will provide a bolt-on accessory for other Samsung devices. My theory/hope is that there will be some kind of accessory in the near future for S5 and Note 4 devices to help boost the adoption rate of Samsung Pay. The pessimistic side of me thinks that Samsung bought LoopPay exclusively to leverage the MST patents and block any MST tech from ending up in Apple's future devices - a smart move, but has no plans to create any accessories for older Samsung devices nor license out the patents on MST to 3rd party accessory makers like NFC and Qi wireless charging accessories.

which VR headsets work best?

When I got both my s8 the promo was 6 months Netflix and a micosd card. Now that I switched to note 8. The promo was the watch for 50 bucks. So I missed on the gear promo. So many people got a free VR no one is looking to buy them. My question should I spend 120 bucks on the Samsung one? Even heard the 2017 one works but that's 80 bucks. The other day at Wal-Mart I seen a cheap onn brand for like 12 bucks and it fits the note8. What will I miss out on if I pick up something cheaper?

I have several VR that I use for my Note 3, Been using it on my Note 8 and try Gear VR, not even come close to Gear VR experience. Will be getting Gear VR end of this month.

the gear VR has its own exclusive VR environment and apps that aren't available with any other headset.
the gear VR also has support for a "laser pointer" controller(included in some versions) which doesn't work with any other headset.
and the gear VR has a touchpad for input, where others have at most a single button.
aside from that it's just a well designed VR headset.

I got the Gear VR (SM-R324) on eBay for $45 shipped, slightly used. I made sure the images showed the right USB-C adapter piece. It was designed for the Galaxy S8+ but works on Note 8. There's a VERY slight fitment issue but it works right out of the box. For the fitment to be perfect, you just have to cut, drill, or dremel out 2 small sections of plastic that interface with the top corners of the phone, opposite the USB-C connector. If done right, it would be hard to even know it was modded. I'm planning to finish my mods soon and will share an image.

I've used Google Cardboard and Gear VR and the Gear VR wins hands down especially one with the controller. I got mine free from using Samsung pay points. I did all those promos in the month of October and easily obtained 12,000 points.

Thanks guys. I brought the 8+ one and will make the mods. I have 3 phones 2 s8 and one note8 so I did the Amazon card promo and got 50% of the purchase price off lol. Unfortunately I did not do the October promos since I was blind to such a cool way of paying with Samsung pay. Only after I got a 200 Amazon gift card from opening a credit card through my union that I was like might as well get the gear 3 watch and that's when I learned more about a this.

on the S8/S8+ version you don't need to make any alterations.
it's a tight fit, but it will work.

Yeah I went with another pair of Buds+.
Twice the battery life and they stay in place.
There's no "wings" on the Buds2 pro to help them to stay in place. The Buds+ also double as ear protection because they are sealed.
So... once again I went with a older Samsung product then it's newer counterpart because of the lose of key features. Not to mention a significant price increase.
Losing the wing and the 5 hour battery life killed it for me. Whenever you buy one of these designs you don't know if the fit will work or not until you actually wear them.
So knowing the older design does work for me also tempered my decision. Upgrading from the original Buds to the Buds+ was an easy decision as their physical dimensions are identical, even the wings are interchangeable. Win-win the older Buds can be a parts queen now
The watches, meh, thought about it but not really that useful for me. kciD Tracey would've love them though...
