bei mir friert der palm750w row nach dem hard reset auf dem palm logo ein - sollte ich da auch mal die firmware neu installieren? wenn ja, was mach ich nachdem ich den updater runtergeladen habe...auf die sd card und dann?

since my friend threw a water bottle against my phone it shows just some colours on the screen. But touchscreen and hardware work fine. I sent it in
for repair but there was no warranty left and they would charge 150Euro.
Now I saved all my data but still want to save the phone. I want to open it.
Before I get the tools to open it I wanted to ask if anyone has an idea what is wrong on the hardware or if there are just some cables/wires out of order or lose. Has someone made experience with it?
Attached are 2 pictures. One showing the screen and one the screen connected to the computer. It works fine there.

I think this is a problem with the displaycontroller. You will have to change it. Or maybe there is just some oxid on the cable to the display. But I think it is the first problem.
Just buy a T6 screwdriver and look at the cables and the boards. Then you can see what's up.
Okay - I will buy a T6 then. You think I might be able to solve the problem on my own?
Because I have not much experience and never really opened a phone!

Du must das Ding nach dem öffnen nur genau anschauen. Wenn ein Kabel defekt ist ist es mit etwas grünem überzogen (Metalloxid). Wenn du eine Platine tauschen musst wird diese passend geliefert. Du musst nur die Kabel ansschließen.
Ich hoffe ich konnte helfen.
Und denke an die oberste Regel: Gewalt schadet dem Handy. Also alles vorsichtig machen.

Hab das Gerät jetzt schon ziemlich weit geöffnet, habe aufgrund mangelnder Erfahrung kein großes Interesse alleine weiterzumachen. Dann müsstest du mir noch sagen, wo ich nach den Kabeln gucken soll und so. Also mir einfach nicht nur seelig bei meinem Unternehmen beistehen!

So, bin etwas weitergekommen - habe mich bis zum Display durchgearbeitet. Dabei ist mir ein kleines Plastikteil durchgebrochen. Denke, dass ist nicht so wichtig, da es nur da war, um die Display kabel im Konnektor zu halten, werde später aber mal drauf zurück kommen.
Nun -
Zwei Bilder: Auf dem ersten sieht man, wie weit ich bin. Auf dem zweiten habe ich versucht, den erkannten grünen Fleck (Metalloxid) abzulichten. Es ist leider nicht deutlich, aber vllt. hilft das ja schon. Ich lasse das Gerät jetzt ruhen, bis Du mir freundlicherweise weiterhilfst : P
Hab da echt kein Plan. Schau dir mal die Bilder an - ich denke dort wird das Kabel defekt sein, oder? Was muss ich jetzt machen?

also ich habe mal das Gerät zusammengesetzt - da hat es funktioniert aber der Display ging garnichtmehr. Nichtmal mehr an. Also hab ichs nochmal aufgemacht und die Kabel neu reingesteckt. Jetzt geht der Display zwar an aber nur weiß.
Touchscreen funktioniert auch nichtmehr.
Der PC erkennt das Gerät noch und sonst funktioniert es auch einwandfrei.
Was soll ich jetzt machen? Ich konnte beim Anschalten das Kabel unmöglich von der Innenseite sehen und daher auch nicht, ob es sich verändert hat. Von der außenseite ist es genauso geblieben wie es war.

Nun denn. Dann ist ein Kabel gebrochen. Da musst du wohl das Display tauschen, da man das Flachbandkabel nicht mehr reparieren kann. Displays gibt es für ca 50 € bei Ebay.
Gut - das ist mir die Sache nicht wert. Da stelle ich es lieber rein, bei eBay - muss mal sehen, dass ich noch nen Hardreset hinbekomme.

I can write down what happend so far also this isn't important cause of a bad result. I tryed to fix the Problem over ICQ and gave some tips. The final result is that he has to buy a new display because it seems that a flatcable is brocken.

Ich habe gestern versucht mein MediaPad zu rooten, unter dieser Anleitung:

Es ging alles gut bis zum Pkt. 21. Ich konnte die twrp.img Datei draufspielen, habe manuel den twrp-Ordner mit theme unterordner erstellt und die ui.zip Datei eingefügt. Jedesmal wenn ich versucht habe den twrp zu starten (über adb aber auch mittels Tastenkombination), ist das Tab beim Startbildschirm hangengeblieben. Ich habe dann zwei drei mal die img-Datei neu draufgespielt und jetzt geht gar nichts mehr. Das Tab bleibt im Startbilschirm hängen, etliche Neustarts versucht, komme auch nicht mehr in den Recovery-Modus. Kann mir jemand helfen?

Ich hab hier ein Huawei P10 zu liegen was 3 Monate alt sein soll aber seit 2 Monaten nun Rumlag beim Vorbesitzer.
das Handy zeigt das Huawei Logo an jedoch danach ist das Display Schwarz und man kann denn Fingerabdruck drücken und das Handy vibriert sobald es am PC Angeschlossen ist kommt HiSoftware zu erscheinen und das wars
Ich komme nicht ins eRecovery nur im Fastboot.
Leider hab ich keine SD Karte für Recovery aber denke da komm ich auch nicht rein.
Zu dem Problem nun da Huawei ja die Seite mit denn Bootloader Unlock codes zugemacht hat stehe ich vor dem Problem

I have a problem with my P10
i got it as Broken on Ebay, it starts into Fastboot but no Recovery/eRecovery and when its going Black after Huawai Logo its Vibrate when i put my Finger on the Printer.
Now i can`t flash a Stock rom because Fastboot say Phone Locked/FRP Locked the Bootloader is not Open and OEM Unlocking, USB Debuggin is 100% not Enabled.
The Question is how can i flash the Stock rom? i need the phone in the next days....
I Hope you can help me out Sorry for Bad english :/

With locked bootloader you possibilities are very limited. The only way to install firmwares without 3rd party software is eRecovery and this also doesn't work for you.
You can try Huawei Multi Tool, it's a free tool with limited features.
You can also try DC Phoenix, it costs money but the chances are very high that this tool can unbrick your phone. When I remember it correctly, it can also unlock your bootloader without needing the unlock code - and this will open new possibilities for you.

Habe vorhin denn Support angeschrieben zwecks einem Unlock Code hoffe das es dann klappt
Wie siehts eingl aus ich hab bis 2020 Garantie auf das Gerät jedoch keine Rechnung (Habs gegen ein s6 edge grtauscht bekommen) legendlich die OvP und das Handy.
Ansonsten bleibt mir nur der Kostenpflichtige vorschlag übrig jedoch als Schüler ohne Pp schwierig

Hinweis: Freischaltcodes für den Bootloader verschickte Huawei nur noch bis Ende Juli. Würde mich also wundern... aber die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt.
Attention: Huawei sent unlock codes for the boot loader only until the end of July. I would be surprised...

Mit Garantie ist es eine Sache - die Garantie gilt in Deutschland nur zwischen Händler/Hersteller und Käufer. Dritte bekommen da oft Probleme ohne Rechnung. Lediglich die Gewährleistung greift. Schreibe Huawei direkt an.

Erst ab EMuI fällt die hintergrund beleuchtung aus

DLOAD funktioniert auch beim P10 nicht mehr. Das ist eine alte Geschichte, die bis zum P9 und einigen Honor Geräten noch ging.
Du hast dafür im eRecovery die Möglichkeit die Firmware direkt zu downloaden.
Lass dich auch nicht von Huawei über den Tisch ziehen. Über die Seriennummer können die ja sehen, wann das Gerät gekauft, bzw. Erstmals eingesetzt wurde.
Du kannst es halt nochmal mit eRecovery versuchen, dazu das Handy per USB am PC anschließen und und Recovery gehen, wie gewohnt.

Habe es Geschafft per eRecovery das System Update 2,7GB zu Laden und zu Installieren jedoch bleibt der fehler und handy war wie vor dem Update.
nach dem Huawei Powered by Android logo schaltet die Hintergrund beleuchtung ab und das Handy Startet so weiter.
Jedoch beim Logo und im Fastboot bleibt diese an und ich seh alles Perfekt.
Geht es per Fastboot die Stock Rom mit Locked Bootloader zu Flashen oder muss ich echt aufs Los schicken warten?
Per Fastboot kann man nix Flaschen, wenn der bootloader gesperrt ist.
Hast du nur das Update gemacht oder auch Factory reset? Das ist das entscheidende. Das gibt im Recovery und eRecovery, es ist ein Button "Wipe data / factory reset". Das muss man zwei Mal bestätigen, es werden bei der Bestätigung zwei Buttons angezeigt, oben "NO" und unten wieder "Wipe Data / Factory reset", den unteren musst du, wie gesagt, weitere zwei Mal bestätigen. Dann macht er was und sollte von alleine neustarten, wenn ich mich richtig erinnere.
Mit factory Reset sollte es gehen, da es scheinbar kein Hardwareproblem ist.
Okay, ja das is mir nun bewusst
habe das gerät jetzt 10 x gewipet trotzdem bleibt es im EMUI und eRecovery und Recovery das gleiche nur beim Huawei Logo und Fastboot bleibt das bild.
Ich werde jetzt mal versuchen per Firmware Updater aufm Gerät selbst das Gerät zu updaten auf eine neuere als B369
Firmware Updater sagt ganze zeit No Connection :c
Unter Software Update steht: VTR-L09 8.0.0.369 (C432)
Habe es jetzt per der Software am PC das Handy auf die neuste Version geupdatet dahinter stand FULL aber das Problem bleibt.
Also gehts zu Huawei.

I recently had the problem of brick with my VTR-L29, where none of the conventional solutions solved (eRecovery, eRecovery with Wi-Fi, dload and etc).
I solved the problem using the tool Multi-Tool 8 available in the link (https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/development/tool-huawei-multi-tool-team-mt-t3523923). The program recognized my smartphone in FastBoot Mode and managed to flash the rom.
I downloaded the files from the link (https://huaweidl.com/download/huawei-p10/vtr-l29).
As I could not get userdata.img, it was installed without this image and could not start , however it entered into eRecovery and was able to download the latest version and the device resurrected. :victory:

My Bootloader is locked, and have no chance to Flash with Fastboot.
BTW the Phone still working but after the Huawei Powered by Android Logo, the Backlight turn off and i See only with a Seperate Flashlight
the Backlight goes Off in eRecovery, Recovery, Android.
in Fastboot mode and the Huawei logo the Backlight working without Problems or flimmering
i Updated the Phone via PC to the last Version but nothing happend now i take the Warrenty from the Phone

But idk why the Backlight works on Fastboot and Huawei Powered by ANdroid logo but in Android not.
