Which ROM can you please recommend for me?
I need:
- NO Google, GAPPS (Totally without google/framework/api..
- call recording supportes
- no problems with BT Audio + WiFi
- good battery usage, fast and clean and stable, and with good customizations
Should I stay with MIUI? Which ROM to flash if i don't want google? (but i need at least ENG language in it, better Slovak)

Hey guys, PLEASE HELP !!
Have a bit of a problem, i didnt like the stock rom because of low sound !! then i tried CM7 almost all versions (yes all, including the music edition), but in all versions i get sound glitches when i open other apps, or just unlock the screen, but this didnt happen in stock rom. But everything else in those roms were perfect !! In stock rom the sound is very low but there is no glitch even for a nanosecond !! So i want to stick to the stock rom, but can someone tell me whether i can flash xLoud to make the sound better?? Or any other technique to increase the sound output !! Also is xLoud supported in emanoN Rom ??

P.S. Please dont suggest using powerAMP and amplifying the sound, i tried it, it greatly degrades the quality !!

if you use max freq for screen off in cpu setting you have this bug, becuse phone going to deep sleep!
uninstall DSP manager (with titanium and befor remove, please backup!) a littel help for you but not solve the problem.

Hello, i want to change my friend I9000 that he bought but can't use 3G , only GPRS. (That is not the problem, so don't mind this)
He asked me for checking this and find out what's wrong, well i was looking around stuff and figured out the phone is using lidroid 1.2 (Android 2.3.4 , kerlen 2.6.35.7 , bandbase I9000ZSJPJ)
I already know the basics of ROM stuff (I have a Galaxy Y , i have already changed the ROM and other stuffs, so you guys don't need to explain the very basics)
So, i was looking for a Jelly Bean ROM, 4.1 or 4.2 to use on his phone, my requeriments are basic:
- A nice, simple ROM
- Crash as hard as possible
- Less bugs possible (Specially on basid daily things like calling, camera, gaming ,other stuff)
- Have Portuguese language and support the Brazilian frequencies (its international so whatever)
What do you guys recommend? Plus, is I9000 modding safe? What are the chances of something going wrong? because - If something goes wrong and can't be fixed, he will kill me plus i will have to give my cellphone to him
Well first of all if your friend asks you to help him, he should know that flashing can always crash the rom!
Something can happen always. Let him do the flashing. If you help him and something happens it does not have to be your fault
I can recommend Xylon or C-Rom by Aways
all of them run pretty smooth and stable

Hi wlan,
I am on 3.2 without problems. Do you use the mentioned Custom ROM ? I know that the Cam does not work, I do not need it. I use the DS7 as navigation device. So, in your opinion, does it make sense to change ROM ? Anyone else who can answer that question ?
PS: It may well be that giveen gives KitKat a try !

I'm having a hard time finding a suitable ROM with good battery. I really don't care about UX or MM but good battery and performance.
Under software info it is shown that my device is
N920W8xxxxPE3
Now what ROM is suitable for this?
Arnie V5 pro - works but no audio so flashed Sky-high and audio fix (battery sucked)
Infinity P6 - same issue (no audio so flash sky-high and audio)
Family ROM v2 - Sky-high with audio fix flashed lol
My firmware and all seems upgrade because I got an OTA update from Rogers and got upgraded to 6.0.1

You need to check out the threads in the T-Mobile section, there are some good custom MM Roms plus some basic de bloated ROMS.
Make sure any ROM you flash has the "Deep Sleep" fix included as I believe this stops working when you root. I also use Greenify and Amplify (You need Xposed for this)
I've made a terrible mistake, rooting and installing a custom rom. There are so many bugs with the roms out there. Some rom won't boot my device and all roms have a volume problem. I can't hear anything, the in call volume is too low as well as the speakerphone. I've missed my office today as the alarm wasn't loud enough. Please I want to go back to Stock and keep root only. I need a guide or a youtube video would be much helpful. Right now I'm in xtended rom of MI max 2. The photos that I take with stock camera turns out to be green. The latest version of the rom won't boot the phone so I go back and download the older version. The gaps that came with the rom will not continue finish setting up the Google account ?I've waited for 30 minutes or so but no help. I can't sync anything or install anything without Google. This phone is so buggy right now ? I need to go back to the original rom.
I've tried Pixel experience and on that rom all the apps crash for the first launch. I've to edit and remove few lines from the Pixel experience rom to install it as it was giving some error 7 in twrp
use Xiaomitool to go back to stock all you need to do is turn on developer options and enable adb settings

download it install it connect your phone install any drivers and just follow the prompts in the tool
Before that you please give a try for MIUIPRO or MIUIAM or xiaomi.eu BETA ROMS which are very popular and having lot of custamaisations.

Alright, are these roms from developers? or just users? I'm gonna try a rom from xiaomi.eu. I hope the audio is fixed here

Only Oreo based custom ROMs have audio issues. All other ROMs work just fine.
