You need to install this app called Setedit https://play.google.com/store/search?q=setedit&c=apps&androidId=111328349327224350192&hl=pl&gl=AE
Once you open the app look for "peak_refresh_rate" click on it and edit value to 1

This method works, however some apps has weird issue with frame rate after this especially video games not all of them. For example Shadow fight 2 (yes I know old game but I like it a lot). Without this tweak the game has no problem with rendering 90fps, but after this game starts to struggle to render 90 frames and cut it to 45 leading to crash after some time. Probably it is caused by OnePlus Oxygen OS selection of titles that has support to 90 frames. This tweak breaks the code of Oxygen OS that allows some applications reaching 90 frames

This fun, addicting game is all about reflexes. Play the 6 challenging levels in one-player mode while competing for the global high-scores or go up against your friend in two-player mode and see who's reaction dominates.
Instructions:
Code:
One-player mode features several challenging levels, each with an increased requirement difficulty to advance. Players must tap the blue "press" button to initiate the random timer. After an x number of seconds, the background screen will change color (can be customized). The player must then tap the button again as quickly as he can.
The offset time will be recorded in milliseconds, and the average of all the turns (varies depending on how long it takes for the player to win) is submitted to the global high scores.
The player is penalized with an early touch. In other words, the player initiated the timer, but touched the button for the second time before the color changed. This will bring the player one level down. The second way the player can get penalized is if he/she is unable to fulfill the offset requirement to advance to the next level.
The score in this game is not an arbitrary number. It is a fairly accurate representation of the offset between the change of background to the player's input. droidFlex doesn't only have to be a game. Feel free to use it as a tool to measure how quick your friends (or parents :) really are.
After each game (one-player or two), players will be able to view their average score and the amount of turns it took them to complete the tasks. Players will also have the opportunity to then submit their average score to the global high scores and see how they rank up against other players around the world.
Hey guys. This is my second legit android application. The reason why I haven't been coding in a while is because recently I have been diagnosed with diabetes. The main intent of this application (of course besides have fun) is to hopefully raise some money for meds and stuff (you'd be surprised ). The app is currently up for $0.99 on SlideMe and going to go up for $0.99 on Android (as soon as paid apps become allowed). I appreciate each and everyone of you who downloads this fun application, for you not only bought yourself a little package of fun, but also helped someone along the way.
Cheers!
Will Gladly support when it komes out on market !!
coming to the market of mid next week!

Solved: in SPFlashTool we must check the option "DA DL all checksums" to flash correctly this phone, otherwise it will not boot!
A possible reason

The heat sensor in the phone is optimized with UI. When it starts heating a lot, it will definitely start dropping the FPS. What I do in my case, is to put the phone in flight mode, clear out all running app, restart the phone, get myself as close possible to the AC and then launch heavy games. We seriously need CM11 in this to get the best result out of it.
Somebody on another thread says that games play very well on the vibe 2.5 1529 rom.
As regards heating, afaik all phones heat and downclock when playing taxing games. Maybe the downclock is too aggressive on most roms on this phone.
Use Stable versiln of ui vibe. Its the best rom so far for games (no fps dropping that much, not that hot as others)

Useless solution
cant play fifa for more than 2 minutes, before it starts going slllooooowww moooootion lol
As Game Tuner has been discontinued I can no longer get some games to run at higher resolutions. They made an excuse of an integration into Game Launcher which now only lets you limit the frame rate and "lower" resolution without any specifics. It's hard without direct comparison but I suspect some games are being rendered at 1080p even when the screen is set to WQHD+. For example Real Racing 3 has this issue most phones I've owned, where the graphics are rendered at <720p on 1080p phones. On Oreo for Note 9 I could get around this using Game Tuner, and if I have performance issues I could also overclock the phone. Usually games still have sloppy antialiasing but I still prefer them running at full resolution. After the Pie update Real Racing 3 really looks awful since I have no control over its resolution. The third-party RR3 graphics app only helps with rendering quality, not resolution, and back on Oreo, it actually looked better at medium settings since there was less aliasing.
Also, on Oreo you could force a 16:9 game to run at full resolution in the navbar options, is there any way to do this in Pie? I can't find it in the game tool settings. Even though some apps don't have proper optimization, many of these still work fine if you forced fullscreen on Pie (for example Horizon Chase and Smash Hit).
Are there any alternatives for changing resolution/hardware performance on Pie?
Another reason to wait in OREO until PIE software mature enough

The huge improvement to Bluetooth latency in gaming is well worth the update. There's almost no latency with most headphones now. I don't know what took Samsung and Android so long since my ASUS Windows 10 laptop doesn't have this problem.

The full screen option is moved to the "settings - display", search it there... I liked it more in the game tools, but atleast they kept that. For the other part of your post - I agree, a lot of missing features this updates, my biggest pain is the multiwindow that was literally toned down to the google default implementation and it's super basic and bad... then there are a tons of bugs or clearly rushed features and that's sad given how much months that update was in development.
Does not work for me with TSTO The Simpsons Tapped Out. Since Pie and without Game Tuner no possibility to launch it in WQHD+.
System settings are ignored.
I Found A Solution To Fix, But It Will Work Only Once. Set The Resolution To HD+, Then Launch A Game, Then Go To High Performance, Set The Resolution To WQHD+, And I Hope It Worked For You. Note: That Will Work Only ONCE!!!
You can use WQHD+ resolution in games by disabling Game Optimizing Service, Game Launcher, Game Tools.
You can search the way on web with 'how to disable galaxy bloatware'.
And yes, device settings - display - full screen apps is 16:9 <=>21:9 setting.
Hi,
I noticed that Dota Underlords on Android Oreo has horrendous fps, like max 15 fps, and it can easily reach 5... I tried it an Pie and it ran fine, but Pie is missing some things that make me prefer Oreo.
I never found any game that runs that bad, even on minimum graphics, and I was wondering if I'm missing a setting or if other apps are interfering, like the game launcher.
Can anyone give me any idea to be able to play the game decently on Oreo?
Maybe Oreo is missing a GPU driver update that is making affecting your game
qhd+ 120 fps display
but when i play wot blitz i see only 35 fps
Specific games from the Play Store have this issue on phones with higher refresh rates (but mostly on Samsung phones). With that said, if you search for the same app on the Galaxy Store, you might be able to find an older version of the same app that runs at the proper refresh rate... It stinks, but this is what I had to do for the game "Jump Drive"...
Edit - if the game requires online play like its desktop version, then I don't imagine this being a potential solution... My apologies... =(
