Question Just got this phone, ROM suggestions ? - Redmi Note 10 Pro

Hello!
Coming from Huawei Honor 4X with LineageOS, i can't stand this bloated stock ROM, i was wondering which ROM is the best in terms of stability, battery consumption and custom features. What i want is something close to LineageOS (is it abandoned for this phone?)
I checked crDroid and ArrowOS threads but i need some opinions those who tried them and still have them as daily drive.
Thank you.
Note: i have RN10P global version.

I've only ever used ArrowOS since I got this phone, can't fault it it's flawless for me.

The EliteROM is a much better version of the stock ROM. It is updated frequently, but there is no dirty flash of it yet.

Alright thanks all

Hi, first thank you very much for provinding custom roms for our beloved Tab S2 "8. I was thinking about trying your rom (i use T715 model) but i'm unsure about what to flash. Do you advice me Lineage OS (normal) or Resurrection Remix? Personally, i care about stability, performance and compatibility (sensors working, most fingerprint). OMS support is good but not so necessary to me. Hope you can help me =)

i advice you to start with lineage as it's more stable
Just like lineage os, the fingerprint isn't fully working. Made a clean install (like i did with LOS) and everything seems to work fine apart fingerprint wich let me register an id, then it works 1/10 on lockscreen or other apps. It seems that the fingerprint services got stopped or killed somehow by the sistem (or doze) idk.

I recommend to use NITROGEN OS 8.1.0 cause it´s very stable.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-redmi-4x/development/rom-nitrogen-os-redmi-4xsantoni-t3738083
Ive used almost every oreo rom I dont find many difference, every rom has own features but its quite similar its my personal opinion I find all of them almost same in performance and battery backup

Sorry I can´t say. In my device before santoni I was on Resurrection Remix 5.8.5, but with santoni I wasn´t satisfied with it. So I stayed at first on Miui Xiaomi.eu 9 but not really satisfied too. With new oreo roms I changed to NITROGEN OS 8.1.0. That´s my way on santoni device...
For Oreo: Its NOS
For Nougat: It's Dot.OS
You must try Invicta OS rom, it's very smooth and stable.
Before this I tried Nitrogen OS (stable) but after reboot finger print didn't work, rest were fine.
Go ahead and try Invicta OS.
Use cardinal aosp rom. Best performance, better battery backup in comparrision of other Oreo roms.
Cardinal aosp is the best Oreo ROM for redmi 4 santoni. Everything is good in this rom. It also supports OTA updates and thanks for the developer for making an awesome rom.

Well I am using Aosp extended Oreo. Although I am facing problems with root. But the smoothness and stability is good. You won't get the same battery life as you get on miui but it's actually not bad.
You can try it out. I am quite satisfied with it but it might affect you if you need root access.
for me pixel experience.

Various custom ROMs

Good friends what I've been thinking lately is: We have several Custom. But is any of them capable of supplying our needs? The Miui is legal, but at the same time annoying, so which the perfect sujestão for a perfect substitute at the Miui level for our beloved Mi 8?

Hey
Actually, I am on stock MIUI rom, because it's stable and because there isn't a good alternative. Most of custom roms are still in development and not completed.
Even GSI, it's not very stable. So, not recommended for daily usage.
In future i think I'll go with custom rom. Maybe LineageOs. I used it on other devices in past years... It's really clean, optimized and well supported.
Global Dev, although still some bugs it's quite stable and reliable.
Will probably switch to a custom ROM once a stable version based on sleak AOSP is available. But I don't trust ROMs from unknown sources so minimum requirement is documented open-source development, e. g. Github. On the previous phone, Oneplus 2, I still run LineageOS at complete satisfaction. Still supplying weekly updates for a four year old device.
Cheers

Its has only 5-7 languages in my knowledge. Since i need only English i really don't care about it. Used MS rom in Mi8 (really likes) and now waiting for bootloader unlock in Mi9 to flash MS rom
Regarding Gpay there is a fix. So no issues. And its comes with some bloatware removed so i think battery will be ok...

LineageOS 17.1 on santoni.

Do you guys think that LOS 17.1 Will be officially released to our santoni along with the lineage recovery?
If yes, why ?
If no, why ?
For me it does not matter if lineage os is official or not as long as the rom is stable and maintained timely.

As i said earlier i have not tried this ROM yet and there is no anything special mentioning of flashing procedure so flashing should be normal as usual. device trees are from havoc os.
wiping system, cache, data should be as usual as we change between different rom. just make sure to use latest recovery.
don't wipe internal storage, but do backup everything as precaution.

Hello there,
just wondering: as crDroid 7.x is available for santoni, how come there is no LineageOS 17.x available for it?
To my understanding crDroid 7.x should be based on the latest LineageOS 17.x - which is not available - ???
Thanks for any insight on this.

Lineage OS 18.1 Unofficial based on Android 11 R is already available for Redmi 4X like Lineage OS 17.X Unofficial was available, the only exception with Lineage OS 17.X was it never went official. And i am not sure if Lineage OS 18.1 will go official.
You can try/use Lineage OS 18.1 Unofficial based on Android 11 R.
Just make sure to backup everything including backup of Persist and EFS and clean flash.
