Hello everyone,
I have a Galaxy S21 ultra, I would like to connect it to my old Galaxy SM v700, but the Gear app prevents this due to post 2021 updates.
The watch works correctly with the Note 20 Ultra, in fact it is Samsung's choice to block it, there are no technical problems to prevent it.
How can I make it work again? Yes, it's an old watch and I have new ones, but I have an emotional value to that device and I'm not happy that Samsung prevents this by forcing me to change devices (which I already own anyway).
Thanks to anyone willing to help me.

Hey everyone,
After many years without a Samsung (my last one was s3) I had a few questions on the move.
Is there an easy way to clone my Huawei phone (P30 Pro) to the newly coming Samsung (S21 Ultra)? - I know that there are clone applications for each company but its a move between them..
I'm using Lastpass as a password manager, and on Huawei theres an annoying bug that Accessibility Service and Draw Over Apps permissions just gets turned off occasionally, is that a thing in Samsung phones as well?
What are your suggestions for the first time using the phone, full charge? use out of the box?
Is there G-Cam for Exynos version?
Is rooting still a thing on Samsung devices?
Thanks alot!

1. Samsung devices will prompt you to migrate your phone's content with Smart Switch. It's pretty decent, it mimics what Huawei does with Phone Clone.
2. I have the same issue on my P30 Pro, no idea with that one.
3. It doesn't really matter, modern batteries don't have the same issue with "battery memory" or whatever it was called that plagued early cellphones. It would still be preferable to keep it between 20%-80% most of the time.
4. Probably not yet, but no clue about that.
5. Yes, however I know some phones lose some camera optimizations when rooted so that's something to look into.
Hi all I've been a note user since the note 1 lol but cause the note was cancelled this year ive gone for the s21 ultra an I ask
Does the spen pro bring all the features of the regular note series and is they any cases that are able to store the spen or am I better of getting the regular spen and the case of samsung website
Thanks
Also what are your thoughts on the whole note series I personally think samsung are working the note series out and pushing the fold devices in its place
Samsung says they'll be a Note released next year.
I have the Ultra along with the Samsung case that stores the proper S-Pen for the S21 Ultra. It works OK. It doesn't have bluetooth so you can't use it as a remote like you could on the Note. But, it draws on the screen and does all that same stuff as a Note. It just has to be really close to the screen before it does anything. That seems to be good enough for me but still I kind of hope that they don't cancel the Note series outright.

Yeah I thought the remote didn't work. That's actually for me it's most useful feature, a remote shutter release.
That and smart select.
I think it's kinda disappointing and stupid that they made the S-Pen Pro so large. You will have to carry around separately. I doubt I would do so and I doubt many others would as well.
The spen variants are getting complicated...

S Pen vs. S Pen Fold vs. S Pen Pro: What's the Difference?
Samsung now has three (actually, five) styli. Here's how to tell which is which.

I guess the pro variant supports bt shutter release? It does some cool tricks across devices like cut/paste.
The one cool trick it can't do without a dedicated slot is safely nest. Losing and breaking these little wisps is all too easy even with a dedicated slot. So far I've avoided destroying my 10+'s spen but only narrowly.
With no physical tethering you need to keep it on a very short leash...
Good afternoon, tell me such a question. I have a Samsung S21 Ultra Live Demo Unit Unlocked on hand. The Samsung Pay application launches, it does not give errors, but when you click Get Started, the wheel constantly turns and nothing happens. There was an S20 Ultra LDU before that and everything worked there without problems. Is this a feature of the S21 Ultra LDU or is it possible to launch the Samsung Pay service? The CSC region is worth XAA. Thanks
Video of the app opening is attached
Hi all, I'm thinking about buying a Samsung S21, I wanted to consult with you. Who uses it, tell me your impressions, I am interested in the camera and especially the battery as it works? And is there a significant difference with the newer model S22?

You know you are in s21 ultra? Completely different phone.....
S21 is solid phone if you can get it for good money.... if you have funds for s22 buy s21 ultra and never look back...i hope it does make sense
I love my S21 Ultra. I cant upgrade to 22 yet. But with my upgrade path, I have been on the Odd track (as in Note 9, S21, then S23, etc). The camera is awesome. The bootloader being locked sucks but I have pretty much debloated it to the point where I am happy with it. Battery life is great if I don't play any games. If I do, it drops quickly.
I haven't looked at the S22 because of the non-upgradability. However, the Ultra has a pen (nice but not needed). I rarely used the pen on the Note 9.
The camera bump on the S21 vs S22 is significant. The 21 has quite the bump but once you put a case on it. you wont notice it.
Anyways...I love my S21 Ultra!
Thank you! You confirmed what I thought!

You're welcome!
After years of dreaming, I can finally afford a used Galaxy s20+ 5G, specifically for Gear VR.
I'm new to Android, and a bit overwhelmed (in a good way) by all the info and mods available through the forums.
Seeing quite a few posts (all old) about Gear VR breaking makes me a little hesitant, but still excited about the possibilities.
Is anyone currently using a fully updated s20+ with Gear VR?
Should I avoid buying a unit with updates after a certain point?
edit: link to article successfully connecting s20 series to GearVR (in 2020).
Pretty sure I found the answer in this thread. Nothing past Android 11 OneUI 3.1.
