following the MIUI, i present to you 2 Add ons that will add to your MIUI experience and will make it so much Better

This app however needs to be opened again and rechecked if there is a restart of device for gestures to work again

I believe the first option is "double tap to wake", the 2nd option is "draw a circle to fire up the camera and the 3rd option is "draw a double line to play or pause music" not sure whether to draw horizontally or vertically though.

So dt2w actually works with latest MIUI with this fix? Was waiting for that.

pardon my ignorance and noobness, but just wanted to know, can i install this on a stock OPO or only with MIUI rom running on it, or is it a MIUI Camera for other custom roms for OPO??

I'm running it on my cm11s stock (rooted), works like a charm

although do i need to root or can i stay unrooted.
hope someone with no root can confirm.
by the way am still not using the OPO as someone is wanting to buy it and its been left packed..

MIUI isnt pre-installed on either the Chinese (ColorOS) or International (CM11S) OPO.
From my OPO

any camera app that has at least 60FPS mode as the stock one? i cannot find the option in the miui app nor in this one...

Better depends on what you need and entirely subjective - if you're happy with what you have then stick with it. However, if you're curious, I'd say make a Nandroid and flash it for a trial to see what you think - you can always go back.
I don't want to get into a 'how is this better / not better than ROM xxxxxxx' as, aside from being subjective to one person's likes and/or needs, it's unfair on the devs who give up their time to create them. It's a can of worms best left closed.

[PIE only] Pixel Stuff [UPDATE]

So hey I have been working on this since Android Pie was released and ported to my device (bacon) and today after so much struggle I finally got success!
So here it is Pixel Launcher for all the roms which doesnt support it. Most of you might be knowing how pixel launcher force closes on Android Pie.
The zip is a flashable zip which can be flashed in any custom recovery. There maybe few bugs or the zips wont work for your device, in that case text me.
You can find the zips in attachment.
Updated apks from Pixel 3
Steps to flash the zip are:
1. Flash your rom+gapps of your choice (clean flash recommended)
2.Flash PixelLauncher-for-all.zip
3. Flash Pixel-build-prop-patch zip

Default launcher coming with the ROM and also other launchers apk like lawn chair , cpl etc looks the same. Also, recents is part of pie ROM. Why we need to have a separate zip for this. No point.

I guess you are unaware of what Pixel Launcher is and what features it come with for Android Pie roms. The launcher shipped with roms is QuickStep which lacks most of pixel launcher features. And Lawnchair and Cpl dont support Pie as Recents are not yet available with them.

I understand what you say. Mostly this is useful for person who use on screen button to access recents menu. I use HW buttons, it doesn't make big difference with any ROM. Still I will give a try on your package just to experience the difference. Thanks.

No No. Its not just onscreen and hardware buttons.. you get AI powered shortcuts in recents and app drawer, App Slices (google it), Text selection in recents apps screen, Google Now integration etc.

Is It just working making a clean flash? Because the shortcuts in "recents apps" doesn't work in my already installed ROM .

Use Pixel Launcher as deafult home app and you see shortcuts there

Install new Pixel Launcher from apkmirror manually after flashing my zip and yes it will work

authorization system applications miui 12 ?

Hi, I just did the update to miui 12 and I notice that we can no longer manage authorizations for system applications.
User applications no worries, but the systems can't anymore?
So basically they can do what they want!
I missed something or we have to go back to miui 11 to get a basic function.

Hey sorry for late reply, yes seems you ar right, I didn't really notice this in miui 11 as it I never really looked for it, but if you are unhappy then revert back, not sure why they would change it but you know how some companies be like

not only that, i used a lot Hidden app feature but on miui 12 all hidden app can be easily open over floating windows without security prompt. also can be open over game turbo and over video toolbox. Miui 12 have lot of bugs. so maybe is this bug also

Better get to work changing the ROM then.
Yes, it's something we want. System apps should not be tempered with, because users tempering with them is one major cause for issues.
Also, on Global ROM, even if you disable certain permissions for certain system apps, they are reset again on reboot anyway...

Well i just tested this statement, i have options to change permission on system apps and permission is still denied if i chose so after reboot.
Edit; and i have no idea why i can upload pictures of screenshot. but here is quick video for example https://youtu.be/qzl8cFrGM_8
i don't know what rom u using but im on Official global miui 12.0.1.0 rom

I created Magisk Module which allows you to install original MIUI Launcher on POCO X2. I used latest alpha-build. So, who wants fresh animations, switching between apps gesture and animated icons and you are on stock ROM (Magisk required), you can install it easily. Everything works fine. After installing you can choose between POCO Launcher and MIUI Launcher in settings, because this module installs MIUI Launcher next to original one, not replacing it. Hello, I used to use Pixel Launcher Mods, but I believe it won't work on Android 11, any other options or just use another Launcher, love the fluidness of the Pixel Launcher.

Your current wallpaper is located at data/system/users/0/wallpaper....copy it off and put a .jpg on the end...wallpaper.jpg

Thanks for the information. I've wiped my device since then and I can't seem to find it in my wallpaper apps anymore.
