hello, I have the soft version G781BXXU4FVI1 uploaded, and now what version of the software should I choose to download to go back to android 11, preferably 10?
you can go back as far as November 21 OneUI 3.1 update, maybe to October that year too. no further than that can be flashed as a complete firmware.

the earliest that should work is G781BXXU4CUH1 dated 2021-08-08
if you look at the build number I just typed, the 5th character from the end is the number 4.
any rom file for the B model with a 4 in the same exact place will flash OK because it shares the same bootloader version as we have now (#4).
As Im thinking uof upgrading to 11/12 on my G781B, @adek89 can I ask what your looking to revert..? as maybe it means I dont uprgade etc.

I read here and somewhere else that the battery on android 12 is much weaker compared to the 10 or 11. that's why I'm thinking about uploading them,

Ok so I assume you means battery life, did you reset your battery states right after installing the new ROM? Also in that instance you can run a battery stats program and find out what app or service is using too much battery and via settings>device care>battery>app power managment> you can sleep or deep sleep the app, if you need more control, then get greenify.
And I also assume your not leaving WiFI, Data, Bluetooth on ALL the time - leaving these on when it not required will kill battery on any version of android.

The phone is just bought, and immediately android 12 was in it, and I only assume from reading people's posts that 12 is weaker so people say in the information. in addition, I have some my tests between 20fe and 21fe, where 21fe lasted longer on the battery. s20fe was without such strong tstow as usual use

Post some screenshots! How's it feel?
I got it last night as well. It feels different, runs smooth. I need more time to tell if battery is better. I'm mixed on the new UI...but it will grow on me. I haven't taken any pics with it yet...but the app looks different so I am sure there are changes. I love having system wide dark mode now. Overall it is an improvement from a short test drive.

T-Mobile is rolling out Android 10 now ....
T-Mobile
Got it on my T-Mobile V40 device as well. Just rebooted and it is installing right now.
Edit: Size is about 1.3Gb
What is Verizon doing? Why sleeps
Probably seeing what bloatware they can shove into it, first! I'm on a pre-release V40, and often get stuff right away.

Still waiting for the us unlocked version sigh
Has anyone with AT&T who did the unlock via the 9008 mode try this update? Right now my update fails, logcat shows a CRC error because boot_a was modified. I assume if I wanted to apply this update I'd need to restore boot_a and laf_a to the original copy. Then update, then unlock again via 9008 mode. Any issues with the unlock method and Android 10?
Got the T-Mobile update yesterday. The Settings page is completely reorganized and more logically arranged.

Installed Beta 2 (which I believe corresponds with Beta 5 on the Pixels) a couple days ago. It is available here.
It has the September 5 security patch, and overall works well. The only bug I have noticed so far is in Settings when trying to set links that an app opens by default. It worked but crashed, and sent me back to my home screen.
I used a debloater via Magisk to remove Asus apps.
How the battery is better or worse compared to the 11.

So this is already an Asus customized android (Zen UI Version)? Afaik the beta 1 was more of a vanilla android without the Asus flavor
Using beta 2 as a daily driver. And i'm really impressed by the aesthetics and the stability of the system. Everything works as intended for me.
Only missing thing is a complete french translation of the system.

I have an unlocked bootloader but it does not go to the bootloader.
reboot using "adb reboot bootloader"
Do I have to wait some time after unlocking tat as it was in xiaomi.
No you just need to enable USB debugging in developer options. Run the command in cmd and run the bat script provided in the zip.
When I go to the bootloader, I only have this screen
When I go to Fastboot, I only have such a screen, I marked it with a red arrow or it means that I have a locked bootloader.
When unlocking, this message pops up, does it mean that I have to set a pin code before unlocking.
I installed, I had to install asus drivers, I also have an incomplete Polish translation

This beta has bugs. I will not install it. If your phone is a test mouse and you don't care about it, do it. Everything official is better than beta.

I hope that 12 will be officially released soon, however.
Any long time impressions?, how is battery life?
I've been running it (beta 2) since it was released. Overall, it is good. Most annoying issue is sometimes it just doesn't charge until I power cycle the phone. Maybe 50% of the time.
A more minor issue is that some notifications can't be swiped away until I power cycle. Can't think of any more issues off the top of head.

Better battery life would be really lovely. And mostly all of the Asus apps (messaging, dialing app etc) can go since Google provide good apps for that. The Bloatware annoys me the most without the ability to fully remove them.

Stock-like Android-11-like Android 12. Just don't change the notification system and icons to the new, bloated, child-like, inconvenient A12 model. (Do as Samsung did and stay close to the A11 design.) But yes, close to stock in all other respects. (Don't follow Samsung here.)
BTW, any pictures to post from A12 beta?

How frequent are the updates?
Battery life so far is not beter than A11, about the same I would say. So far we got 3 updates. A bit desapointed I must say, I expected the build to be at least better for battery
It looks like Android 12 was released. (OTA) 1 195,75 MB (RU)

Nope not in the beta channel. So the official Android 12 is rolling out now for all Zenfone 8. But might be a staged roll-out.

I guess no. It wasn't from my device. Seems like final release (if no mistake from ASUS, lol)
I received the same firmware today! Weeks ago, I signed up for the beta programme but never heard of them until this morning. So, is this a beta firmware or official final?
Oh yeah. Can see I got accepted on the beta. So this is beta channel.
Any idea how to install the incremental Android 12 OTA (here) over the latest stable version (30.12.112.62)? There is no update.bat file as in the full OTA to flash from fastboot.
PS Simply putting the fw in the root directory and rebooting does not work either.

Advice in this case.
Don't root if you are in a hurry
Bootloader unlock is at least 7 days waiting
Backup before and restore after format is again a couple of hours
Brick is a couple of weeks or papermate

I don't have any data and can format at any time,
I hope to achieve ROOT as soon as possible, Maybe 7 days can also wait or over 7 days,
I was wondering if there is an exact way?
Of course, I also hope that it will not become a brick,
Why should I root?
Because I'm very disgusted with the monitoring and security software that comes with the mobile phone system, I don't need these software and management, I am use to assured of Google's management, and don't need mobile phone security App,

There is a lot of information how to unlock and root your Xiaomi device.
So I won't give you a detailed guide.
- Start with bootloader unlock
- While waiting 7 days, study how to go further and download everything you need.
- Like ADB, Twrp or Orangefox, Magisk, Custom rom and optional Gapps
...................... Studying before next actions is necessary to avoid a brick ..........................................
- After 7 days, unlock
- Flash with fastboot, recovery (Twrp or Orangefox)
- Reboot to recovery
- Follow flash and format instructions of desired Rom
- Flash Magisk for root
PS
Please don't shout anymore for root in a hurry
Hello everyone,
Last week, I did something stupid. I was looking into updating my Samsung Galaxy S10 to Android 13, and for that, I had to perform a bootleg on my phone. Since I don't have enough knowledge about it, I followed a video tutorial. However, I don't think they explained everything correctly because I encountered an error while loading my phone. To fix this, I had to reinstall the firmware and then restart it. But after the restart, the Samsung interface and all my apps appeared much larger, which is extremely annoying. I have already tried going to the accessibility options and adjusting the icon grid, but it only helps with a small part of the interface. Can someone help me?
I know it's dumb to do this without enough knowledge, but I still wanted to give it a try.

I'm not sure how it is called I thought it called bootleg.
I got stuck in the blue Download screen for samsung s10.
It looked like this:

After that I had to reinstall the firmware but I didn't find a firmware option for my country so I installed from a country nextdoor.
When I signed in to the phone the UI was waaay bigger than before.
You mean you installed a different CSC? As long as the firmware is for your model number, it should be fine. To change the UI size go into Display Settings.
What is the model number of your device? I can help you look for the latest firmware on SamMobile.

Yes other country but the right firmware. I already changed the display settings but that doesn't solve the problem. my interface in different apps is also way bigger.
My model number is: SM-G973F/DS
Country: Belgium
(but I installed from the Netherlands, but i think that is not the problem)

What should I do to get my old ui back should I do another firmware update to hopefully get my old interface back. I think it could have something to do with the android version?
Before I did the firmware manually I just had the stock phone with its automatic update. I see there are different android version for the samsung s10. with the firmware update I now have:
android: 12
One UI version: 4.1
