This ROM is only for Hydrogen now. There is no version still for Helium.

Previously I have used galaxy grand in which I used external sd card for data..
Here in mi max, there is no external card.. So, each time I flash my phone.. Then data will b deleted?
Also, tell me the steps to use this rom from scratch! I never did anything to mi max till now.
And, is there anyway to come back to stock miui unrooted again..? Tell this thing too.

Which variant? S7392 or S7390
What GAPPS package did you use. Dont use MicroG because Youtube requires some google libs which are installed when you install GAPPS. Use the pico version for any variant
Edit: And as far under my usage YouTube live doesnt works as streaming video. I am currently in school and when i will have my homework and all done I'll post A YouTube live video link:good:

I wouldnt really recommend that since we don't have a stable AOKP rom to go with it properly, but if you're willing to go for it try getting a stable compatible kernel or maybe work on your own and compile it... I've tried patchrom myself and tbh it's a huge pain... If you need my help just tell me

If you are facing some bugs other than the ones mentioned in the thread i recommend you to make a clean install with no additional addons you may have installed, and check if those bugs persist because many a times people use some scripts or tweaks for performance/battery tuning and end up with some things broken. Such cases won't be entertained.
Since I no longer own the device, I make builds and sent them to my testers. A special thanks to all of them who try out all the test builds quickly and efficiently and make these XDA releases possible.

1. what is hwc?
2. which oxygen kernel 5.1 do i flash? Oreo id assume?

HWC is hardware composer HAL. Google about it. Also you can safely ignore that issue since it was broken on oreo too since ages and it was never mentioned that it's broken.
Install AOSO-OREO version. It's compatible with AOSP Pie

Can you please elaborate more on this issue! All ROMS here on XDA have the same HAL1/HAL3 changes on their changelogs. What exactly is the issue? AFAIK lavender comes with HAL3 enabled by default. But still there are issues, therefore i do see that many ROMS here either include HAL1/HAL3 switch in the settings or not include HAL1 legacy support at all.
So please do tell me, what exactly is the issue preventing Redmi Note 7 from getting the official LineageOS support and what is the whole thing about HAL3/HAL1 on this device?

Lineage requirements want all camera hal versions working and here they aren' t.
if you use hal3 you will have problems with videocalls but you can use gcam.
with hal1 there aren' t problems but you can't use gcam.
At long last a rom with a standard installation and update procedure, instant flash.

Any one successfully install this using latest Orange fox recovery? I got error 7 and couldn't proceed. Clean install. Install of CrDroid works fine.
