When I charge my tablet I shut down before charging. How do you guys charge yours? I think it charges better if it's not running. I've done that for years with all my tablets. I know it takes about 4 hours with the supplies charger from around 10%. I'll try a fast charger next time.

How long do you need to charge from (let say) 10% to 100%?
In my case, I need about 4 hours 30 minutes. That was really long.
Btw, can I use the old charger from the HTC Magician? I read the specification is the same though.
I've noticed that if I try to charge my razr I with my car charger (2000ma USB griffin cigarette ) it charges quickly.
If I try the same with my ipad charger it seems to go really slow?
The ipad charger should also output 2000ma so I don't know why it's charging slowly unless the razr i is limiting the amount of current it is drawing?
Bigger battery, more charging to do. One guy, somewhere on here, posted a chart showing the speed and duration of his charging. It took about 2 hours for a full charge. Know that generally, phones are made to accept a charge faster for the first 30/40/50% of the cycle and to charge more normally after that.
You just have to make some counts. The charger charges at 900 mAh. So you need 2 hours and 10 minutes (more or less) to charge all the 2000 mAh battery. Maybe you use a different charger that charges more mAh.
Will the Sony Z3c have the ability to fast charge?

Wonder if the moto turbo charger will work, or if Sony will bring out their own variant.
Sony's included EP880 charger outputs 1.5 amps and I've read that it provides 60 minutes of talk time from a 10 minute charge. Not sure if that's exactly quick charge but it should be faster then a regular 1 amp charger.

Nothing scientific, but I am using a Blackberry Playbook charger (1.8A output) and this thing charges FAST. I can gain like 40% charge in 30 minutes or so.
I can confirm that it charges fast. Full charge in less than 2 hours this morning.
Some days ago i charged it for 20 minutes in the morning and got 25% more juice. At the end of the day, with moderate use (taking into account that this is my new favourite toy) I had only lost 20%.
I don't know if quickcharge is available or working, but I'm more than happy with the battery and charge performance.

Yea default charger is 1.5A but it gets the job done.
To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the OnePlus 5T can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.

i heard that this also works with usb power delivery (maybe out of the box or with a custom kernal?) which is good news. an open standard fast charge framework is always a good thing.,

i wouldn't say as quick but quicker. if you want dash charge style speeds you would need a Quick Charge 4+ phone, the razer phone charges as quickly as dash.
Does a QC3 / QC2 charger charge to their spec when charging a 5T?

little comparison with ugreen qck 3.0 charger. It's good, but no chance with dash charge, ~2 times slower. I can't add screenshots, but charging from 17% to 81% last 1h 15 min.
Is it just me ?
Had put my phone on charge on 51%..
After 1hr 10mins screen off it was still on 97%..

I know it's supposed to but damn **** is slow!! When using phone I'll sit all day charging the damn thing . It takes a good 2 to 3 hours charging when screen is on. Plane ridiculous! Anyone know of anything to make this better? Will a high amp charger charge it faster? Sick of this I can't charge it for 30 minute while using it before I have to leave , only it being charged 10% in the time being

Ideally to charge the note 8 fastest you'd either want to use a qualcomm quickcharge 3.0 compatible charger or a USB type C charger with Power delivery (USB-PD), along with a decent cable such as the one included. The Note 8 will say Fast Charging on the lock screen if it's being used with an optimal or near optimal charger/cable combination.
It doesn't fast charge while the screen is on, it barely charges at all.
The output is not far off what the input is when you are using the phone and fast charging.
(Price you pay for a big screen)
If you were using a regular charger and using the phone your phone wouldn't be charging at all it would still discharge.
Simple solution just don't use your phone for half hour !

I have several samsung fast chargers, but only some of them would work on fast charge.
I realised it was a problem with the cable, so I swapped them to the original Samsung cable and all the fast chargers work on fast charge now.
So check the cables ....
