If under warranty return it.
Otherwise, use Miflash with a fastboot rom (not difficult, there is only one).
No guarantee that everything will be ok.
If you have a MediaTek soc preferably use this tool(Surely the case).

This phone do not have official global rom, only chinese.
You may bought it with a global rom, but it was custom, which can't be updated to miui 13 and now 14.

Hi ! I have a noob question
They had three models of mi 8 the 64/128 & 256Go storage and two various models Global Version & a Chinese Version.
But really they had only one version per models of mi 8 but different Firmware of mi 8 ? Exemple for the 64Go model storage this is the same hardware of mi 8 and only the firmware change ? Chinese version or Global version ?
Thank you

Ok thanks for response.
But I see with link if you use Global phone you can't use miui china version ?
If I unlock my BL and flash Custom Rom Xiaimi.eu based on China miui version Rom !
They had mistake if I make Ota update of Xiaomi.eu Rom ? No risk lock it and brick it ?
Ps : Yes I understand just don't flash the chinese stable or dev Rom and vise versa !!! With Custom Rom no mistake just if you use miflash don't lock.
Thanks.
You can have every custom rom you want.. for example xiaomieu,it doesnt mean something what kind of source it is. You can use xiaomieu based on china rom with your global version smartphone!
Btw xiaomieu doesnt have ota updates you need to flash manually from twrp every time.
Hi,
I bought k20 pro few days ago (indian) and updated to miui 12 and i really don't like indian so i wanted to flash global or I'm planing to downgrade but i came tk know that indian version has anti roll back enabled so doing it will permanently break my sensors.
I'm requesting the experts to help me in this to not to break my sensors while flashing or downgrading and even if something goes wrong i can't goto service centre because of covid restrictions.
Thanks.

I am from Bangladesh, But My device is Global.
I flashed China Version, Global version, Upgrade version, Down grade version, Never faced any problem.
But don't know more about Indian version.
You can check the above links.
Just always, always, always remember, Never select "Clean All & Lock" with MI flash tool. This is the most important.

Can we flash and run the global rom on Redmi Note 10 5g China model?
According to some posts here, while someone succeed to run, others say it can't.
The answer is yes, with your bootloader unloocked. This means if you use mi flash tool to flash global rom, you should uncheck the "lock the device" checkbox.

How many method is there to change global in xiaomi?
Since your question is not explicit, you cannot change version (Global to EEA or others, etc.) or downgrade without unlocking the bootloader.
To summarize you can only update the installed version.
Now I am using this phone with china version. I bought it from china. But I don't like this version and I don't want to unlock bootloader. so I am finding other methods like hardware method(redmi 8a). But I am not a phone repairman.
Is there any other methods for rubypro? I really want to know.
(note: sorry for my eng skill)

The price of the motherboard and the labor will cost you relatively expensive and provided you find the part.
Edit:
Anyway you bought a Chinese version with soc Mediatek and:
Few or no development for the Mediatek soc
Impossible to re-lock the bootloader with a rom of a different version than Chinese.

If you install a golbal stock rom on a Chinese device and re-lock the bootloader, the phone is bricked.
You can't do this on a locked bootloader.
Global stock roms work on Chinese device and Xiaomi Eu rom as well.

Didn't i said the same... He will be stuck in miui recovery with a message "This MIUI version can't be installed on this device""
And u can't unlock bl (In this device case as we have mtk exploit still working we can flash via sptool)
the OP concerned the change of version not an update. who will download a global rom for it installed on a Cn rom with a locked bootloader?

I know that I already replied regarding it
Hi everyone.
After looking for hours on internet, I'm here, with this thread.
Like many people, after the last update to MIUI GLOBAL 14.0.3.0 stable (SMOINXM) in May, I don't have NFC anymore.
I checked my model : 22101316UP and if I'm not wrong, there is NFC
My bootloader is unloacked, the lock is open on the top of my screen when I boot my phone.
So, do I have to install a new update Global 14.0.6.0.SMOMIXM in fastboot mode ? (My region is France)
Do I have to lock the bootloader ? Anything else ?
I'm running out of ideas
Thank you for your time.
You have Indian model .install EEA or global last in fastboot

Indian ?
I thought Indian model doesn't have NFC ?
So I just have to flash 14.0.10 in Fasbtboot and it will be okay then ?
