Question Orange State - NE2213 - OnePlus 10 Pro

Hello,
After upgrading my op 10 pro to C.22 it started to show a message on boot: Orange State (Screenshot).
Bootloader unlocked and rooted.
Is there any way to remove it?

i cant be sure. but i would assume it is a cross-flashed device, and something in the new bootloader does not like a mismatch somewhere.
i have no information or proof or anything to confirm this, just a random thought i had.

You mean if I rollback and try again it would solve?

Would someone share the update files to C22 for NE2213 plz?

It affects all models. This popped up on the Chinese op forum and I was wondering wtf they were blabbing about until I updated my 2215. This is normal on all previous op devices. Not seeing it was odd when I rooted.

I got the same message when upgraded to C22 on NE2215 from setting update.

i had the same problem when i updated to c22. after a moment of confusion i used adb relock the device and the orange line disappeared kkk

You were able to relock bootloader without bricking with JUST adb flaahing lock?

It won't brick if nothing of system was changed I've always unlocked previous devices and relocked them with no issues. As long as it's not rooted or system changed.

Manual update P10?

Anyone succeed with manually updating P10? I have tried with no sucess.
Old method is not working.
Thanks
No but did you made the dload folder with the update.app file and then booted into the stock recovery mode?
I woudnt know any other way since they removed that from update settings : |
I tried that, does not work.
You can't manual update the P10 or P10 Plus, since it requires an online check.
They removed the ability to manual update via dload methode.
The only way at this moment is to use FunkyHuawei!

What about Firmware finder? I've tried this as well but I only get download failed, even everything is done as it should.
Hey,
I am working into this direction and got some promising results already. I am testing two more things during the next days (so that I can be sure my Stuff won't break your phones) and hope I can share my findings with you early next week.

So, it is not possible to update, even the firmware matches your corrent model/brand?
I finally found the FW for VTR-L09C109, but when using dload method I get "Installation failed".
No, it is not possible. Huawei did something with emui 5.1.

It is not good since you loose warranty with bootloader unlocked.

Not always correct. It depends on the local country laws you live in.
And also if you follow the instructions you end with LOCKED Bootloader so no warranty lost

Is it same with P10 as it was with P9, tha it say relocked instead locked bootloader, when you lock it again?
nope : Phone LOCKED
FRP unlocked so they cant see the difference they can only find out if they check if you got the bootloader unlock code.but you also could request the code and dont use it.
Any progress here? The update has been out for months in other regions but I still haven't got anything here in Sweden :/

device has loaded a different operating system

I had a rooted (magisk) X4 (google_fi) with twrp 3.2.1. I removed root and reflashed the stock rom (OPW27.1) and relocked the bootloader.
Everything works fine even the OTA updates (I OTA'd back up to OPWS27.1.3, but there is an annoying yellow startup screen that displays "My device has loaded a different operating system." From what I read it's because the ROM isn't digitally signed? Is that correct?
Any way to remove this screen on startup?
**FYI this is not the unlocked bootloader screen this is something else.
Thanks.
Ok so google pay won't work. It says I have an unlocked bootloader and/or custom software. I have a stock rom, recovery, bootloader, and the bootloader is locked. Shouldn't it work? I never had this problem after flashing stock and relocking my old Moto X Pure.

I am not able to help with removing the boot message you're seeing, but is that copy of the stock rom you flashed still available and is it for Android One/Fi?
Yes and yes.

did you managed to remove the message? I'm having the same problem
My theory:
You've flashed an original signed stock rom, but that stock rom signature is not the same of the bootloader.

How to solve this?
so are we all mad? I've googled for hours, it seems to be you need a factory image of our phones to correct this problem.
figured it out, you need to supply your own keystore to remove the message in fastboot
https://youtu.be/OfWFmhucWlg?t=15m33s
how do you match rom to the correct bootloader? I've installed the 8.0.0 rom I get the same boot error as stated above. I'm trying to get everything back to stock to get the 8.1 update
we would need a factory image, that Motorola never will provide..

if it was a real factory image it would contain a developer keystore in the image, and people wouldn't get the yellow bootloader warning message..
Like I get from all these images posted on this Forum.
If the Keystore doesn't match your original phones Hardware Keystore, it uses the Image's keystore instead. A factory Image, has no keystore or sometimes a universal keystore, and you won't get the mentioned error.
I obtained all this information just watching a Android Developer talk about Verified Booting, but it never goes into detail how to remedy this issue. So unless I spend hours and hours learning how to re-compile an image from source, or figure out where my keystore is located, I'll be stuck with this message.
Because each manufacturer is different, they don't always follow the same Practices.
Hi, is there anyone who fix it finally? I have exactly the same problem. After update on Pie, the message "verity mode is set to disable" is displayed while booting. I'm desperate, I really don't know how to fix it. I tried almost everything

Unlocking bootloader: definitive bye-bye to automatic updates?

With the Moto Z, after I returned the phone to stock (flashed stock firmware and locked the bootloader), I'd be able to flash stock firmware with the flashing locked.
Not so with the Motorola One Zoom. In other words, flashing stock and re-locking didn't return the phone to its pristine state. Even when flashing stock firmware over stock firmware, I have to unlock the bootloader.
Differences I observed: on the bootloader screen, when re-locked the Z would show "oem_locked" again. On the One Zoom, it shows "flashing_locked" instead. I'm pretty sure it showed "oem_locked" before unlocking.
WIth the Z, every time I wanted to unlock the bootloader, I had to issue "fastboot oem unlock" followed by the unlock code. The code isn't necessary with the re-locked One Zoom.
In other words, maybe it was a one-way trip. It seems that the phone won't return to its original state, it looks it's modified for good. And I'm afraid this means bye-bye to automatic updates.
Am I missing something here?
My bootloader is also unlocked and I dont have any problems with receiving and installing OTAs I also have Magisk and EdExposed installed - no problems at all.

What instruction did you use to unlock the bootloader?
What region is your device manufactured for?
Does your PC see your device connected to the fastboot mod?
What does this command give you:
Code:
fastboot devices
If the device is detected, enter the command:
Code:
fastboot getvar all
And copy the result here.

I have the Moto One Zoom running on Android 9.
Also, It's Rooted with Magisk and have Riru EdXposed installed, can I install my OTA updates without bootloop or do I have to Uninstall Magisk, relock bootloader and factory reset/flash stock firmware to get latest OTA updates?
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks

What do I lose when I open the bootloader Redmi K20 Pro

Hi everyone
Question for professionals and experienced people I hope to get a reliable answer on this matter
1- What do I lose when opening a bootloader other than air update and payment and warranty service?
2- Is it possible to return to the official status and receive air updates?
Thanks everyone in advance
Can't say for sure but you should still get OTA; if not you'll get full ROM zips delivered via OTA instead of the smaller chunk/patch updates.
The main thing is banking apps and Google Pay. Widevine should be OK. On mine it's L1 so still A-OK for Netflix/etc.
OTA updates work also if bootloader is unlocked. Idem for payement and warranty service...
If you root the phone it isn"t the same story.
Mine is rooted and OTA updates work. I download the update BUT I unroot the phone before installing it.
It"s possible to relock the bootloader but no need to do that...
PS: Unlocking bootloader resets the phone (Back up what you need before).
Unlock bootloader means no more hd on netflix n stuff.
Widevine stay L1 but netflix will failed to load unless you delete smthing n widevine drop to l3

Keep in mind relocking your bootloader won't get you any OTA updates anymore. You will have to manually flash your device from now on, since your IMEI is blacklisted by Asus OTA server.
