Hello.
New Note 11 user here, unlocked, rooted and CRDroid 9 installed.
I can't find the 'lift to wake' function that was available on the miui rom, it is listed if you search in settings, but neither of the entries lead anywhere it can be enabled.
Does it not function on CRDroid or am I just missing something?

Not available on CrDroid. Only on Pixel Experience
@NeoSDAP Thanks for the info. Thought I was missing something but obviously not.

I just flashed the latest LineageOS 14.1 ROM, along with SuperSU and opengapps (pico) as per the instructions on the LineageOS thread. When I go into Settings->Buttons, I cannot see the option "Enable on-screen nav bar". Has something changed? This has worked for me in the past.
Is the "Enable on-screen nav bar" option dependent on anything?
E.g.
Is it dependent on a specific firmware?
Is it dependent on the phone being rooted?
Is it dependent on having MIUI Chinese Dev ROM installed prior to installing LineageOS?
For the life of me, I can't work out why the option is not available.
I am trying to get it working the Mi 5 64GB edition for what it's worth. It's for a friend. I had the latest MIUI Global Dev ROM 7.2.16 installed prior to installing LineageOS 14.1 20170221. So, it should have had the latest firmware.
On my Mi 5 32GB edition, the option appeared after I installed SuperSU. It was even there after I uninstalled SuperSU. But with my friend's 64GB edition, i can't see to get it to appear regardless if I install SuperSU or not.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Even I'm facing the same problem, someone please help.
Please Help

TL;DR: I wanted to install an Android 9 Rom on my phone alongside the stock Android 10 Rom in order to use GLTools.
So, the question is basically on the title. But the reason that I want to install two Roms on my phone is GLTools. Since GLTools' developer didn't release an Android 10 compatible version of his app while it was under development, Thus can't use it, since my phone is on the latest firmware. Now, I mainly wanted to play Fortnite on my phone (Please don't judge me?). I'm open to other solutions tho, like any GLTools alternative compatible with Android 10. (Ps. Phone is rooted with Magisk)
AFAIK, Dual boot custom ROMs were possible on some devices but that was before introduction of SAR A/B Devices. While theoretically, newer devices have separate A/B partitions and hence could have separate ROMs I believe it is an issue of shared libraries/partitions being used by the device which might mess up things.
But then I am neither a developer nor a gamer so the entire theory could be wrong !

In stock 10 rom?
Any one working on Lineage OS with Gapps ? Thanks.
After a quick Google search, it seems like there is someone that does various test builds for the spes device:
Jabiyeff-build Activity
sourceforge.net
It's been mentioned in this thread already:
[spes/spesn] no google custom rom when?
Slowly new custom roms are fading in for the spes/spesn redmi note 11 and now there finally is its own forum here. A custom rom without Google and its services is still missing among these roms. Hit a post here if you find some de-googled...
forum.xda-developers.com
I use the rom as daily driver and it is very good rom. I am surprised that it is not advertised anywhere. The only thing I am missing is passing SafetyNet.
I am using the last version (220530) with May security fixes with gapps and magisk.
Well, it's about time Xiaomi stopped dicking around and release the kernel source already, as they are legally obligated to do. There's not much of a way we can force them though; so much about "Xiaomi allows unlocking the bootloader and is open to modifications for their devices' software".

Our device got skipped lmao xiaomi.
Hi all, I have recently purchased a Redmi Note 11 in India running MIUI 13 Global (RGCINXM). This ROM comes with a google dialer and I would like to revert to MI Dialer. I have flashed one of my older phones successfully with an Indonesian version to get back the MI dialer, however in that case, the ROM names were similar except for the country code (RGCxxXM for example).
I can't seem to find the exact same Indonesian ROM for my Redmi note 11 and wanted to check with the others if it would be safe to flash with the Indonesian NFC variant (RGKIDXM) to replace my current ROM (RGCINXM).
Could anyone please share their experiences?
Many Thanks.

According to the type of your rom your phone would be a redmi note 10 11 spes, models 2201117TG, 2201117TI, 2201117TL.
Could you confirm?
(characteristics/model).

Thanks for your prompt response.
The phone is a Redmi Note 11 2201117TI. Not sure why would you narrow it down to a redmi note 10. Perhaps different model names in different geographical areas?
Picture from box attached.
Many Thanks.

I wrote 10 but it's actually 11.
Don't bother with stock roms, install a Xiaomi EU rom that has the call recorder+playstore certified without root .
See here.

Use this forum

Thanks much. I was actually preferring to stick with stock ROM and not root the phone. If I were to stick with stock, would you or anyone recommend going for the NFC ROM from Indonesia (RGKIDXM)? I saw a couple of YouTube videos doing so, but wanted to make sure it wouldn't make things too messy.

The rom that I recommend does not require root
.
For the Indonesian rom no choice.
The bootloader must be unlocked(erase your data).
https://new.c.mi.com/global/post/101245
https://en.miui.com/unlock/index.html
then after 168 hours
Use this tool (read carefully, erase your data).
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/flash-tool-guide-use-xiaomi-flash-tool.4262425/
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do a backup with Micloud.
With Indonesian rom you will have to lock the bootloader with Miflash otherwise the play store will not be certified, which is not the case with the Xiaomi Eu rom.

Thanks, just read carefully. Makes sense to flash with the Xiaomi EU ROM that you suggested. Just a couple of quick questions. Given that these are third party, are they secure to use?
And I read that these are based on MIUI China ROM. So hopefully there won't be any issues with Play store?
And last question, if I were to flash with the stock Indonesian ROM, can I replace the RGCxxxxx (non NFC) verison with RGKxxxxx (NFC) version?
Thanks for your help again!

So ,you have a branded phone(Verizon).
Start by flashing a global rom (same if you install a Xiaomi Eu rom) without locking the bootloader with Miflash then the Indonesian rom by locking.
don't say thank you but click the like button
As u know there is no viper4android on android 13 at all yet.
if u want to install it u can try this: https://github.com/programminghoch10/ViPER4AndroidRepackaged/releases/tag/v25
This fixes all issues and changes policy of selinux allowing to run viper4android without problems.
Let me know if it works for u.
Q: Are there any Issues?
A: No everything should work fine
Q: Will it work on my device:
A: Yes it should work on xiaomi phones but also redmi or poco phones.
Q: Should i disable any apps:
A: No, it disables AudioFx apps automatically. (If not then disable it manually)
Q: Is this mod adding absolut unnecessary empty sections between your textlines?!
Q: Which A13 rom should i use for the 11t pro?

A: No.
A: There is no A13 yet but that's just in case, Whenever A13 comes then this could be useful. (I'm just sharing this because I found it and it changes sepolicy that allows to run Viper4Android without problems. Legacy Mode is also set automatically, but it should work on older android versions too. All things are set on boot.
