Sigh.. I need help

Guys, i am currently at recovery mode and I need to know a way to put files in my SD card from there?
How do I accomplish that?
Do you have a sdcard reader?
To poor/cheap for that option,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=531310
console -> ums_enable
What recovery are you using? Can you put info in your signature about your hardware? It makes it a lot easier for people to help you, and you'll get help a lot faster. Like mine.
go to www.google.com and search "mount g1 through console"
the first result is an xda thread with your answer
Okay..
In order to use the console, I have to enable adb shell which I can't due to the following error message:
C:\Documents and Settings\Jonathan>adb shell
* daemon not running. starting it now *
* daemon started successfully *
- exec '/system/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory (2) -

How do I view the compiler error output and can I paste it here?

Root my Kindle Fire HD (2013) Soho-KFSOWI. Please help!!

Hello everybody! I am new to xda so I hope I'm in the right place. Rooting a KF (2013) has proved to be quite challenging for me, also because I am dumb . Anyway I have tried to install the 'Permanent Root with Superuser' via Kindle Fire Utility 0.9.8 but I am not able to. I know that I am missing something but I am too dumb to understand what. I need the help of experts. So, I have run Kindle Fire Utility 0.9.8 and I got this:
HTML:

Please make a selection or hit ENTER to exit:
I have connected my KF Soho to the laptop through the factory cable and I have selected 1, and I got this:

2 Fastboot (4002)
3 Recovery (5001)

Please make a selection or hit ENTER to return:
Then I have selected 1 and I got this:
HTML:

The system cannot find the drive specified.

Unable to open /data/local/nbmode: No such file or directory
/system/bin/sh: /data/local/nbmode: not found
The kindle has been told to reboot in Normal Mode.
Press any key to continue . . .
If I select fastboot instead, I get this:
HTML:
***********************************************
* Activating Fastboot (4002) *

The kindle has been told to reboot in Fastboot Mode.
Press any key to continue . . .
In both cases my tablet reboots but checking with 'Root Analyzer' I can see that it is not rooted.
I have also tried rooting with Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v30 choosing the 1st option but I get this:
HTML:
======================================================================
= This script will root your Android phone with adb restore function =

Checking if i should run in Normal Mode or special Sony Mode
Please connect your device with USB-Debugging enabled now

Now unlock your device and confirm the restore operation.
Please look at your device and click RESTORE!
If all is successful i will tell you, if not this shell will run forever.
Running ...
At this point, my kindle fire displays a screen where I have to choose between 'Do not restore' and 'Restore my data' and I chose 'Restore my data' but my tablet does not reboot at all and the runme.bat file keeps running forever. I have also tried not to press anything at all on the 'Do not restore/Restore my data' screen and I get this:
HTML:
Successful, going to reboot your device in 10 seconds!
Waiting for device to show up again....
Going to copy files to it's place
mount: permission denied (are you root?)
You can close all open command-prompts now!
After reboot all is done! Have fun!

Press any key to continue . . .
My tablet actually reboots but checking with Root Analyzer I still see the message 'No, your device is not rooted'. What should I do? :'( Ask me all the questions you need and I'll do my best to answer them. Also, please keep in mind that I am not technical therefore explain me things as you would explain them to a quite smart baby Thanks for your help!
Also, I'll write here more details about my device if it is of any help for you guys:

After I updated RR 7.0 source (august security patch), I get this kind of error too with libsoftkeymasterdevice
Same output for the mentioned python script, although values are defined in https://github.com/pix106/android_d...0ce646cafd1b934bd3ed4d/BoardConfig.mk#L35-L46
There was no change in the device tree which was building with RR-7.0 source a few days ago : https://github.com/pix106/android_device_xiaomi_lavender
I don't quite understand what the error is, did you solve it ?

to avoid these checks, i read on telegram : export SKIP_ABI_CHECKS=true
Test build in progress...
Edit : it worked

It's been fixed in rom source since then, it was indeed a temporary workaround

Android Studio 4.1.1 has built- in compilation failures

I have installed the latest Android Studio onto a new machine, and have installed Flutter plugin into the new installation. I then created a Flutter project, taking all the default settings.
After creating the project, I set up an emulator and tried to compile and run the flutter app. Unfortunately I get the following error:
Code:
FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.
* Where:
Build file 'C:\Users\rbrown3\AndroidStudioProjects\flutter_app\android\build.gradle' line: 26
* What went wrong:
A problem occurred evaluating root project 'android'.
> A problem occurred configuring project ':app'.
> Failed to notify project evaluation listener.
> Uninitialized object exists on backward branch 142
Exception Details:
Location:
com/android/build/gradle/internal/pipeline/VariantInfoImpl.<init>(Lcom/android/build/gradle/internal/scope/VariantScope;)V @200: goto
Reason:
Error exists in the bytecode
Bytecode:
...bytecode listing omitted for brevity...
Note that I also took a look at the build.gradle file that contained the offending line . Line 26 just contains:
Code:
project.evaluationDependsOn(':app')
I did not edit that line at all. In fact, I did not change anything, not even in the main.dart file.
Have I found a bug in the Flutter plugin? Or is it an Android Studio bug? Why does a pristine installation of Android Studio fail to compile default code due to a flaw in a gradle build file??? More importantly, what is the flaw causig these compilation failures and how do I fix it?
