Question Battery stuck at 15 % - Xiaomi 11T Pro

The battery of my 11t pro is stuck at 15 % whatever I charge it or use it or reboot the phone.
Attached is the test menu of the battery.
I think there's a solution but I didn't find it.
it's the second 11t pro that I had whith the same problem.
Is there a solution ?

Try to reset battery stats or calibrate the battery. That should fix it

That happened to me too, when the battery connector became loose, this happened. Try to get it to a repair shop, OR try your best to pry it open (Which I actually did open it) and fix that problem. Prying it open requires the smallest of screwdrivers.

This is Hardware Problem, Battery Or Charging iC. There is Two of Them

I have the same problem after installing the last update.

The Battery Calibration doesn't change anything, 100%= 4139mV. It looks something blow off the Battery & 10-15min need the phone for charging to 1%
have you got the possibility to try another bat? I think a drain of 90%+ in 10 min is hard to brun the bat... even with full cpu power and io, wlan etc. on no chance to do it in that time for me here.

NO I don't have another battery, and 10min need the phone from 0% (-10% to 1%. I had this phone on desk charged on 70-80% I wanted go in bed, take look on my brick & the Phone was dead (I'm happy owner of this 1st 1mil freezing pieces from DE,bought in SK I'net shop)
sorry for that- u may backup via cwm and try another rom to be shure that it is not a bug, but i think the chance for that is quiet low

Battery calibration issue

Hello,
Since some time (maybe weeks, I didn't pay attention), I believe my battery is totally out of calibration. When reaching about 20%, the drop to 0% is very fast, loosing percents every few seconds then the phone shutdowns at about 2%.
When fully charged at 100%, it stays at 100 for easily an hour while I'm using it (music, chat ...). It's like the calibration curve shifted by 20%.
I've tried 3 calibrations :
- Emptied battery, power off, charge until 100%, turn on then off again and continue charging to 100%.
- Emptied battery, phone turned on, charge to 100% and kept charging.
- used a calibration app (I'm not rooted)
Nothing seemed to work ... Do you have a solution to properly re-do a calibration of a P9 battery ?
Model AL10C00B389
Thanks
Nope. All I can think of is faulty battery should be replaced under warranty if possible.
Hi, it seems better after a proper calibration using XDA's calibration app. Now the decrease is more stable until 5-6%, then it goes fast to shutdown. The battery is 2 years old only (?) ...

Which app... Without being root?
Thx

The app is named Battery Calibration in Google store and is working also for non rooted phones.
There are a lot with that name, can you share the link?
I have similar issues with my L09-C432 P9.
There has been occasions under heavy use (like taking lots of photos on holiday) that the phone has turned off due to low battery when battery level was previously showing 40-50% - after plugging into the charger for a couple of mins the phone will power back up to show the % it was at before.
Other times the battery has "stuck" at 20% despite being used and then powered off.
Just today while playing a game, the phone was showing 8% battery - so i plugged it into a USB3 port on my laptop and it was showing 28% again within a minute or two!
The app link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration
I have had exact same phenomena : shutdown at 20% when taking lot of photos and impossible to restart without plugin to a charger. Also the same quick increase of battery indication while charging. Try this app and see if it helps.
I'm having same problem, dbranded L09C432B390
Eventually the problem came back despite calibrating the battery ... today the phone turned off while taking just a single picture with a battery at about 30% ! It seems more and more the battery has an issue. It is appearing randomly but I noticed it is linked with the camera and the fact of taking pictures.
I have the exact same problem with my chinese version ( Eva- L10). The turning point is ( i believe) around 45 % remaining battery and below. The phone behaves normally at these levels ( games, web, music, etc.), until the camera app is started. First couple times the phone turned off and after starting again, it was on the previous battery level and continued to work normally ( until I open the camera app again). This behavior turned into complete refusal to turn on or to stay on after the bug.
First I believed that this is a software issue, but it goes again after the latest system update. Not sure if the Hard/factory reset will change anything ( trying to avoid that, its annoying).. Maybe the solution is to change the battery, but no guarantee for that to fix it either.. The third option is to get a portable battery and not letting it down below 50 %.
Same Issue here - on B393. First i thought that the battery is broken. But no, i have read about it in severel german and international Forums, on Facebook and so on. More and More User of the P9 have this problem, Power off by using Camera, oder totally going down between 40-20 percent. Because of this, i dont believe in a single problem with battery. There are to much users at the same time with this heavily battery bug.
Mine has started doing this...
Goes from ~25% straight to 1% then power off. Turn back on, and it says 25% for a second, then 1% then back off.
I kept turning it back on over and over untill the battery was so flat it didnt stay turned on for more than a few seconds before it shut down.
I then did a very slow charge to 100% with the phone tuned off from computer USB port and this seems to have helped a little bit, but still there is a problem.

Today I got a new phone black-out by taking just a single photo with 82% battery. I think there is no typical percent value under which the problem will come. Fortunately I had on me a power bank ... The battery still indicated 82% when I plugged it to the phone and restarted it. After restarting the phone and unplugging the power bank, I took several photos without any issues.
This problem appears so randomly ... the phone's camera becomes useless as it always has the risk to crash the phone ! Does anybody tried a hard reset or something which helped ?

I did something similar a few times to recalibrate the battery, it seemed to help but didn't took long before the problem appeared again.
Same problem here
L09
If I open the camera app having below 45% or so, the phone shuts down and only turn on to show 1% and the banner telling me that the phone will shut down in 30sec. If I plug the phone to a charger goes up to 20-25% very quick (5 minutes or even less) but obviously it doesn't last as 25%.
I did a full reset and nothing. IDK what to think, battery problem? Software issue ?
My P9 is currently away for repair
I was having a similar issue. My phone quickly went to 2% and powered off. If I then plugged in the charger, it would say 48% charged. Unplug the charger and power the phone on and it would work for a few hours. I thought it was a battery issue, so have sent it in for repair (at the retailers expense). The repair company have found a faulty charging port, but no fault with the battery.
I've never made the link between the camera app, and the charge issue, and when I get it back will test it.

{Q} How to calibrate battery

I have successfully changed the mi 9 battery with mi9t it is shorter in size But works great
How to calibrate the battery to get the correct capacity as it shutdown when it reaches 32%
I remember that TWRP has that option in the past
Running CRDROID 6.9 WITH Quantic kernel
use your phone until fully zero % then try to start if it still got any power left. Then recharge it to 100% from 0%

well, i dont know if is my misleading or not but, you are saying that you put a mi9t battery inside a mi9 right? it really fit??
i think even if they are different capacity, they wont make difference, the phone is calibrated to detect 3300mah only, so, even if you put a 5000 battery, the phone will only use 3300mah and shutdown when that is gone.
cause there's a file inside system folder with that "specific mention" and of course phone will do, what that file say to do. (if you are rooted you can check it, but i dont remember the name file or specific directory).
you can try only calibrate the battery like the user above saying: let the phone go to 0% or die by itself, then wait 10 minuts, power it on again and again until the dont show sign (even dont show nothing at all), then put it to the charger until reach 100% (dont turn it on until they reach the full). then turn it on and use it, see if they go dead at 32% anyway (i almost sure they will anyway).
only rom development guy's with experience with MIUI can tell you how to change the file who tell the battery capacity and how make it work like it do, maybe pull the file from mi9t and put it on mi9 will do the trick...idk.

The connector on Mi9T's battery is different, and the battery is thicker, the back cover won't fit ! Also you have to tear off the old cell from its control board and solder the new cell on, essentially you are putting the new cell with old protective board and connector. But yeah, there is no reason why the battery wouldn't work if there is same voltage.

how is it possible if the battery of the mi9t has the plug on the left and that of the normal mi9 is on the right ?? how did you do it thanks
As I said in the comment right above yours, you have to solder the connector with the protective board from the old cell to the new one, then you can make it barely fit. Not really suitable for amateurs.

Question Battery Calibration ( i just want to know the right way )

hey guys , i bought Xiaomi 11T pro a few days ago, but the problem is phone stay about 10 or even 15 minute at 100% battery charge while im using it but after it start gets to 99% and lower the speed of discharging get increased but i try to calibrate the battery to fix this issue, let the phone die on low battery and charge it to 100% and let it there about 1~2 hours with the charger plugged in but still i think i need to do calibration for that but can someone explain how to calibrate in right way ? anyone have the same issue ? should i use 120watt charger included for calibration or lower watt charger ? thank you guys .
Actually this behavior is normal.
same on my 11T, after charged to 100%, it keeps them for ~20 minutes

So i don't need to calibrate ? And i check inside the accu battery app my battery is 97% health ! I just bought this phone less than a week ago is that normal too or the app is not accurate?

I would not trust Accu battery. Download hidden miui settings from Play store and check there the battery capacity. You will have to do the math because it will tell you only the mAh, not the percentage.

Yeah, it's like mine. Around 4600/4700mAh. At this point I suspect they lower a bit the charged capacity for a longer battery life.

Question Battery Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro - Miui 14

hi, a question, after updating to Miui 14, the battery in your Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro discharges very quickly (at night it is 20 to 30%).

No. There is no discernible change from the previous version (EEA ROM).
On a seperate note I see that Xiaomi have now removed (hidden?) "cell standby" from battery stats to stop people, like me, moaning about it!

I noticed the same, before the update it discharged like 10% at night, and now it's like 20%
Try to reflash miui 14.0.2 EEA with Miflash tool and check option : clean all to be relax because your phone will be very clean and like new after that if the issue of battery drain stay you should try plan B and i think the problem will be resolved plan B is calibrat your batterie try to using your phone until it turns off completely and wait 3 hours while it is turned off after that plug in without turn it on until you see 100% icon battery in the dark page and try to give it another 3 hours after that plug out and power on your phone and use it until 15% ..and voilà your batterie is fresh and calibrate and happy
