Unlocking the bootloader with htcdev.com will erase your phone to prevent unauthorized access to your files, it's a security feature otherwise anyone able to access your phone for 5 minutes would be able to unlock it, flash a custom recovery and access your files without the need of any pin/passcode. If you already unlocked your phone then your data is gone and there is nothing you can do about it. Btw you can easily unlock the bootloader without htcdev.com if your phone is s-off without loosing your data but unfortunately it's to late.
