Help please, I bought a redmi note 9 and it came with a pixel rom and it worked correctly, then I returned it to miui 12 but it appeared to me that the cell phone was blocked so I installed the twrp and tried to put a crdroid rom in it but it bricked and It started in a bootloop, I returned it to miui 12 and then I put another version of the crdroid rom back in and it worked, the device turned on correctly and everything, but when I stopped using it it suddenly rebooted, I thought it was a rom error So I put arrow os in it but the problem continued after I put the rom that it came with when I bought it, which was pixel ui but it didn't fix it, and it only restarts when I'm not using it because it never restarted while I was using it, also it doesn't I know if it is also an error but neither in twrp nor in orange fox does system or vendor appear in the wipe section, another thing is that there was a point that in orange fox this unable to update logical partition appeared and they showed me five (system_im age,vendor_image,product_image,system_ext,system_ext_image )
I need help, it's the only device I have and for now I can't buy a new one

I found a video on youtube in which they flashed a file and then a ui pixel and I did it and apparently the error was fixed but if I put some other rom it still fails, and I already updated it to miui 2.5.4

Hey guys,
While trying to update my Mi 5X, TWRP shows a message that the update is dedicated for "tiffany" devices while mine is "". How can I change the code name of my phone back to Tiffany?
looks like it is a bug of xiaomi.eu from 1 november on
if you flash the newest twrp with treble support it lets you go forward, but then the screen will not work anymore. I mean, even fastboot and twrp will be black screen with backlight off!
backup all you have, flash latest chinese dev with miflash, don't lock bootloader, flash again twrp (latest with treble), then you can flash latest xiaomi.eu beta. Don't flash latest xiaomi.eu stable or next update it will be black screen again (android 7.1 to 8.1 update)
amigo estou com o mesmo problema instalei uma versao da miui 10 estavel europeia e entrou em loop o pior e que eu estava na beta
europeia

Hi. I had same problem (black screen with sounds, vibration ecc...) and i solved it with your solution (flash chinese rom with android 8 with miflash tool, then flash recovery and latest xiaomi.eu with android 8). Now the solution is here, not so hard to do it (thank you). I'm just curious... How does than even happen? I wiped all except sd card and otg, and the problem occurred the same...
Does anyone know why this happened???
I guess the new update requires a new driver for the screen, and only the new bootloader has it. But only official updates can update it.

Thank you!
I noticed that this black screen happens since they updated from Android 7 to android 8. Also: the "updates installation screen" of official updates is very different since this version
Hello guys, I really need your help!
I've just spent 5 hours trying to fix my Xiaomi Mi 8 bootloop.
Everything began this morning when I started a common update. After the reboot I got just an infinite bootloop on the white word "MI" that i get every time I turn the phone on.
I bought the phone from China with a Global rom already installed and the bootloader unlocked. I can access fastboot.
Here what I did today, until now:
-I decided to install a TWRP, only the 3.2.3.0 worked after many attemps with other versions.
-From twrp I flashed the last xiaomi eu stable. Result? Bootloop was still there.
-I flashed the last xiaomi eu weekly. Result? Bootloop there.
-I decided to go through Mi Flash.
-I installed the tool and downloaded the last Global Stable for fastboot installation.
-I flashed the global from Mi Flash. Result? Bootloop is here.
I don't really know what to do. Every time i did factory reset from twrp. I tried also to make the factory reset from fastboot command. I tried everything I could find online. No solution, same infinite bootloop.
Any suggestion? Thank you very much
Simone
Did your find a solution? I have the same problem.

Hi, after many attemps I installed the xiaomi.eu!
I could install china stable from mi flash, but I was not satisfied with a lot of Chinese apps. After that I installed again the twrp and I could put the ROM pixel experience. After pixel experience if I am not wrong I tried another twrp (I need to check) with which I could install the Xiaomi EU!!! Now I don't want to update anymore
If you need help I can check the version of the last twrp I have used! I guess it was an anti backroll protection because I could install the last china dev but nothing else, neither from that twrp.
If you need help ask,
Bye bye
is it because of encryption issue? from the first day i use mi8, i always on decrypt.
my step to flash any rom is:
1. flash rom
2. magisk
3. flash dm-verity
never had bootloop issue
flashing dm-verity should fix it.

Hi I have/had the same problem!
- The only rom I got working was the "xiaomi.eu_multi_MI8_V10.0.11.0.OEACNFH_v10-8.1." which I stil use.
- I also can get the the official "dipper_global_images_V10.0.2.0.OEAMIFH_20180912.0000.00_8.1_global" rom working but it stil keeps updating to the latest version after a while. If that happends I get the bootloop problem.
So I'm stuck at an android 8.1 .EU rom and I'm scared to update to the latest stable android 9.0 rom because of the bootloops and/or to brick it and to lose al my data again.
So my questions:
1 - do you use the latest stable ROM, (which one) at the moment?
2- how did you install it?
3 - which TWRP did you use to flash the .EU rom?
4 - I use an 8.1 .EU rom. Do you think I can update without losing al data again (my wife will kill me if I have to reinstall again)?
5- Any idea why we have this problem?
I really like to update to android 9.0
I just saw (!) that they released an official version of TWRP for the Mi 8 at https://twrp.me/xiaomi/xiaomimi8.html
Thanks in advance!
Hello, I have solved using a different TWRP with which I could install the xiaomi.eu weekly! I tried a lot of twrp until that one worked
Where can I find this twrp version? Anders on which exact version are you on?
Hi, my Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite was running the latest version of MIUI 12 Global and I wanted to install Evolution X 5.6 ROM on it. Unfortunately when I tried flashing the Evolution X ROM I got an error saying that I needed firmware version 10 for it to work. By that time I had already wiped system, cache and data and for some reason TWRP isn't installed anymore either. So, basically my phone is now stuck in fastboot and sometimes it turns off and then back into fastboot.
At this point I'm not sure what to do since I don't want to make it worse, but I can still access my phone via adb. Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do?
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Download a fastboot rom here and use this tool.
Dont relock the bootloader!!!!.
Hello dear all, my Xiaomi Mi 9 Global was stopped to the last OTA V12.04.xxx, no new download!
I decide to download the last glolbal recovery version from here(V12.5.xxx) but it doesn't work, so tried the version in the middle V12.0.5.xxx and the update from the recovery tool embedded on the Mi 9 it worked fine.
This is the last versione I sucessufully installed on my smartphone, it doens't receive anything from OTA enad it still doesn't accept the last Global Recovery ver. V12.0.5.0.QFAMIXM....evrytime I receive "Impossible to verify the update....." and "Impossible to install this stable ROM"
Do you know why?!?!
I was stuck with the same weird issue. I finally unlocked the bootloader, and flashed the last official ROM 12.5 with mi flash tool. Now I also installed a custom ROM finally!
I had the same Problem ...
I have solved my Problem with a Fastboot Rom Installation too
There is no "BEST" alternative of Stock ROM. I have tried many custom ROMs but at last I stopped on Stock ROM and its working like Sun and Moon...!!
Can anyone help?
I have the same problem, but a little worse. I can't unlock the bootloader.
In fastboot mode, the phone isn't recognized. I tried with another phones and everything is ok, on a another pc and nothing.
When I try to flash any rom, all official, says it's no possible to flash.
When I try to install a ROM, no problem installing TWRP and flashing a ROM.
But when I restart, whatever the ROM it systematically restarts on TWRP.
Everything is back to normal when I reinstall the MiUi ROM.
I installed vbmeta, TWRP is kept even with the MiUi ROM.
I tried to install a ROM on MiUi but nothing happened, TWRP is launched systematically after restarting.
I tried with several versions of TWRP but nothing worked.
Also with LOLz kernel with and without; and Magisk too.
Sleep on it !
you have to format DATA and not Wipe !
Hello guys! I'm new here and don't know where to get help. My phone (Xiaomi 4g [phoenix]) has a weird bootloop to it.
I installed Miui 13 eu rom via the name of file is "windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format" now I get a bootloop that goes back to TWRP.
When i checked the my storage on my pc it only shows TWRP folder only. i don't know what to do. i've been sitting the whole day trying to figure to fix my phone.
I downloaded a Miui 12 and installing it via twrp. now after a few minutes of waiting and still get backs to TWRP.

sounds like your data got wiped, thats why theres only a twrp folder in internal. you should prolly full flash a fastboot rom since you mightve missed a few important steps
Hi Fonzacus
Please tell me
What is the reason for flashing that vbmeta img?
Is it always necessary when clean flashing latest crdroid custom ROM?

sorry for the super late response
its supposedly for bypassing android verfied boot (avb). it blocks unauthorized roms from booting. if you search for 'what is vbmeta', we literally get no info at all and mainly speculations (no official docs etc). imho it does seem true
