Hello there, everyone!
Have you ever wanted to run multiple OSs on your phone at the same time? Well now you can do it with your Mi A1.
This is AndroidTwo (funny name, right?) - a kernel based on MetaPhoenix.

Don't flash it yet as I can't still get it to work. IDK what I'm doing wrong. But in theory the install process should be:
1. Flash Kernel
2. Flash TWRP Installer
3. Flash Magisk
and do that on the slot on which your ROM is.

For me this always work with flashing a kernel
1 flash rom
2 flash twrp installer
3 reboot recovery
4 flash gapps
5 flash magisk
6 flash kernel
7 wipe cache
8 reboot

Thx I will try later on today with a clean install. Can you tell me exactly what is the benefit of this kernel and what do you mean with 2 os on your device. Is it something like dualboot?

You should know you can't post a build that is not ready on xda. Just in theory don't work here. Placeholder threads are not allowed here.

Get to know ROM stages
Every ROM has 3 stages: Experimental, Developer and Stable.
1. Experimental (Alpha) version is updated every day (except weekend), and is open to a small part of senior members.
It includes new features and bug fixes for the senior members to test before they enter developer version, therefore it contains high risks of serious bugs.
2. Developer version (China and Global) is updated every week. It get new features and bug fixes in every update, and is stable enough for daily usage.
3. Stable version doesn't have a regular update frequency. It's updated once a month/two months/even longer to ensure system stability.
Common users who prefer ROM stability are recommended to use this version.

Yes, you can. But take note that you can't lock your bootloader or else your phone will be bricked in a second

When I lock my phone or brick him, can I unlock again bootloader and install twrp for custom rom?
Cause I know when I brick phone,that is not possible to unbrick him without an authorized account or Mi service store.
I have Redmi note 7 Chinese version, Chinese rom, that is bricked.
I try to install every single Rom,but I always stuck into recovery...
Can I bypass that with installing custom rom?
Unlocking Bootloader, flash twrp, flash custom rom?

If your bootloader is unlocked then what you can do to unbrick your phone is to download for example
Global PFGMIXM V10.3.5.0 FASTBOOT
Boot your phone into fastboot mode
Extract Global PFGMIXM V10.3.5.0 Fastboot folder and run the .Bat script called Flash-all, you wait couple of seconds to do its "magic"
and when its over your phone has stock miui10
I strongly suggest to install TWRP first also DO NOT FORGET TO Wipe data, cache,system before flashing new ROMS!!!!!

It is not integrated in the OS. You can use 3rd party apps for that

For me great rom, feels very fast.

Gcam only for now. Stock camera maybe after OnePlus releases official android 12

Let it settle for a while. Battery backup has been great for me. Surely better than OOS11

How would I go about changing from a different android 12 rom to this one? Do I need to go back to oos11 and if so how do I downgrade to Android 11 from 12? Is it a pain in the ass? I was looking but can't find a stock oos11 rom

Update your platform tool or type like this ./adb sideload rom.zip

How can I revert from this to stock rom? I tried miflash but it failed

How To Guide MIUI 14 EU ROM Upgrade

Just finished downloading the EU ROM.

Download file:
1. Sourceforge link was slow. So I went for the official mirror. Took almost an hr. file size is 4.5 GB. The MD5 is fbdc8ba3b53e94004369535e405f5817. The file upload date is Feb 17, 2023.
2. For more details visit official page: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/miui-14-stable-release.67685/
Note: Better download to laptop and not directly to mobile, unless you have very high speed internet connection. Also the downloaded file is a zip file. Once downloaded check that you can open the zip. This will not work if the file got corrupt during download.
Before I start:
1. Bootloader is unlocked.
2. TWRP is setup.
3. I am on MIUI 13 EU ROM.
4. Download the file on to your laptop and transfer to a folder on the phone using USB.
Steps:
1. Go to My device.
2. Click on MIUI 13.
3. Click on the 3 dots on the top right.
4. Choose the update package. Follow the instructions...
5. 1 min later it took me to TWRP....installation hardly took a min.
6. Reboot to system.
7. Check everything is fine.
Overall - Time to download the build took an hr. Time to upgrade took 2 mins.

Hello, the update was offered to me in OTA. I did it. Now I'm in MIUI 14 but I don't know why I lost TWRP. Can I install TWRP without losing my data?
Edit : I am on MIUI by xiaomi.eu version 14.0.1.0 TKDMIXM Stable.

There is currently no A13 TWRP for the VILI.
