Hey everyone,
I was wondering what i should do to spend time on a minibus for 5 hours with my friends. This is on a DofE trip so cant take any expensive gadgets except my phone (HD2).
Oh nd seeing as i will be hiking for 3 days, does anyone know any good pranks to do on my mates. Like spraying someone with whipped cream at night lol <= Already doing that lol
Would really appreciate a quick reply as the trip is in 4 days
Thanks everyone

Sleep?
Or maybe download all ROMs for HD2 and test them (if you haven't done it already)?

yea just go up to them and start sayin random things to start a convo ... preferrably women ... it also helps if u act like ur drunk so they think its normal that u wanna socialize and ur not a freak
When they are asleep put toothpaste on their finger, and their eyelid. When they wake up. they will wipe it... it will sting like a *****
(hope I am not too late, but on the 15th you said 4 days so I should just be in!)
Also, stupid bets to past the time when hiking could be fun. Not sure what you could do, but be creative!
Hola Im Jose! Originally from Mexico City but now a citizen of the world. I came here by 1st time back in 2007 to find how to upgrade Windows Mobile onto my beloved and actually working HTC Universal, always loved HTC phones and became more active in XDA. With some time started to write some of the 1st news for the recent launch of XDA Portal, lately was invited to be part of the Mods team in which i had a blast of fun!, I was there to meet in person the mighty old-timer Mods and Devs back in Texas on the infamous Android BBQ 1st editions.
On that time I was so active that some called me "spammer". Getting to the first places of post numbers on XDA....
I quit my regular job back in Mexico and decided to travel the world!, that was when i lowered down my activity in the forums due to obvious reasons...
Then pandemic came and i found myself unemployed and with no chances to travel for the time being....
So.... Im back!!!
Beware high posters, Im coming after you to get my place back!
Looking fwd to engage again with old time amigos around the forums and also to understand the new XDA.
Cheers to all

Hello and thank you for letting this old sod join XDA
I'm by no means an expert when it comes to tech but more of an enthusiast although I am the one many of my family and friends come to when needing help and/or technical advice and I even sort out iPhones when a cousin of mine manages to forget her details
I've only ever owned 1 iPhone and that was a iPhone 3 and since then I've been an Android fan when it comes to phones and streaming devices.
I've often delved in and out of XDA when doing any research for gadgets or tech support so at 54 I thought it was high time I signed up.
Cheers.
Pete.

New to Android tweaks, but not new to computing. I live on 5 acres in southern Idaho, have way too many cars and want to expand my horizons.
Just bought a Samsung A53 and am enjoying the upgrade from a Samsung S7. Yeah, I used it for 7 years. I guess in phone land that's a really long time, but it worked great for me, so I stuck with it. Now I don't know what to do with it's dead carcass.
Anyway, happy to be here and am looking forward to learning something new.
Thank you everyone,
Michael

Thanks for the welcome. At my age, I really was carving things in stone...
Hi, my name is Jose and I was born when TV was black and white, I built my first computer in 1986 it was a 386 w/ 40 meg of a HD and 512 bts of RAM LOL from then on computers have been a hobby as work and family took over. I do have programming knowledge but I'm not a programmer I know my way around a computer , unfortunately my health has been deteriorating so I simply can not spend as much time as I would like in front of one. Cell phone knowledge is limited but I believe I understand the principles of it : software in a small communication device .I have an Android which is a program that I'm not familiar with but since most programming languages are similar in a basic manner I guess with some help I can fix my phone, I figured. English is not my first language so forgive my grammar. I think I do well on this. I'm home now because of my health so I have time to dwell into this but again can't spend more than 30 or 40 minutes at the time in the computer ( sitting for long time is a painful problem ) I would inmensely appreciate any help from you young guys whom were born into this era or time with so much knowledge at your disposition , believe when I say that coming from Southamerica , we would have love this , having the net and everything it has to offer, the good I mean , the bad ,oh well we can learn to deal with it and go on with life. Greetings from an old dude. I joined the forum because I would like not to have to spend another $1000 in a new cellphone and also I'm stubborn and think that my cell does have a fix and I can find it.
