smart lock
I can't find "trusted face" feature, because I'm used to unlock my phone with my face! And for that I need working google feature "smart lock". I already test "unlock with device" (with build in "huawei intelligent lock" and my LG Watch R) and it works fine. But regardless with agent I use (huawei intelligent lock or google smart lock) I don't have this option in my security settings. I try this on B805, B815, B817 but is was still beta, so I hope they fix this, but now I'm on B830 and still without this feature! Does anyone have same problem?

It's weird... Some users report the same as you... But you can try uninstall FB before update to B830...

I retract my confirmation. It still happens. Uninstalling all updates to webview and installing an older version of facebook is still the only fix.

For me Facebook videos didn't work, but also sometimes the app would crash and that would make the "system" itself crash. Sometimes the system itself would crash with no reason. I have to restart my phone 1-3 per day, so I rolled back to b609.
I also found that my battery charged way tooo slow in b830. Seriously. Like in 3h only 10%. Also the battery discharged faster...

Well I have b830 for a few days and here are bugs that I found:
1. Facebook: using old version
2. Videos on fb, yt and instagram crash sometimes, like you can't open them so you need to reboot device and then it is working
3. Rebooting device few times a day, especially when the battery is about 45% it starts draining so fast
4. Phone heats
5. Battery draining fast
I hope there will come newer update so our p7 will work like a charm on 5.1

My only problem is video playback on facebook. Ive no solution

I have problem with themes after upgrade from 609. The my themes catalog is empty and I'm not able to change theme.

after update the default option is lte/wcdma/gsm :good: and if i change it, it will never revert me back to choose the lte option :crying: :crying:

why remove, if you do this, perhaps the phone is bricked

if you leave the checkbox in miflash it will be on restart on the miui recovery and not on the rom. you will then have to unlock it again

Installed it last night. It's surprisingly stable. Not working, as far as I already was able to see:
- fingerprint
- faceunlock
- setting 120hz
- setting 1440p
- display not adjusted to rounded corners, time and battery not fully visible
- speech quality during calls is bad. My opponent didn't understand me.
So flashing back MIUI 12.5

I am unable to go back to 12.5. I am getting mismatch error in mi flash tool. can you help please?

I had the same problems, too. I used the .eu weekly ROM with that fastboot batch.

Oh no! I used the fastboot method. The mi flash tool said it was successful.
But my phone gave an error message
"System has been destroyed. press power to shut down"
Unfortunately i forgot to stop the phone from locking before flashing .
My phone is now ruined, because it is locked and nothing can be flashed.
i have even tried miflash unlock.
it refuses to unlock my phone.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

I can add:
No 5G;
No fast charging ( although it says fast charging);
WhatsApp: sound problems (can not record audio messages) and sometimes camera crashes.
But i have to say that the Overall rom is very stable and the battery lasts much longer.
Maybe with beta 2 all this problems can be fixed.

It's my daily rom. I love it so i will keep it. One thing that made me keep this rom is the fact that the battery lasts longer. But the main reason is that finally i managed to use vowifi (wifi calling). With other roms like oficial stable, xiaomi.eu stable or weekly did not get vowifi working!
Besides all the issues i use this rom daily.
It can be rooted with the same way like android 11.

Hi all
I just purchased this device, this issue is really annoying!
If i leave the phone for few minutes, come back and turn it on, i get no notifications from whatsapp. but once i open the app, ALL the messages show up. Same thing with almost all the other apps not just whatsapp.
I tried and did everything, turned off battery optimization, turned off miui battery optimization, locked the app, enabled auto start, done all of that for all of my social apps, still the same.
Is this a known issue in the device ? or am i missing / doing something wrong here ?

It happened to me also on Poco X3. I solved the issue by turning on auto start, allow notifications (there are plenty of settings) and allowing permissions: pop up window, permanent notification)

There is no native call recorder, you must use a third-party app, it's not a big deal but at least it's something, and everything works, camera, face unlock and fingerprint.

Question Mi 11 ultra, USA T-Mobile

Hello everyone.
So I got mi 11 ultra, Chinese version, right now it's running on EU 13.0.13 stable. And sometimes I don't receive all text messages. Like I can chat with someone normally one day and the next day they will text me but I won't receive that message, it happens really random but it already screwed me up couple of times.
I'm not sure what is causing the problem. I have been factory resetting phone, did all the updates, I have Google messages as default app.
Any help will be appreciated!

For some reason i don't have option to turn off Miui optimization. Even after clicking "Reset to default values" multiple times.

It's a hidden option.
Tap a few times on "Reset to default values".
Then the only the optimization option is visible.

You'll need to change the battery saver settings for the app.

Yep i had no restrictions set on my messages app for a while now. Still not getting all messages sometimes :/

The app should also be allowed to autostart.
In settings>apps>permissions.

I haven't tried using xiaomi message yet. And there's not way to tell in a short run if it gonna work.

I had the exact same issues with my Chinese ROM 11 Ultra on TMobile in the US.
Very very frustrating as this was my very first Android experience after coming from iPhone for about a decade.
I played with many of the different messaging apps and many different app settings. For a while there, I was a 2-phones McGillicuddy and carried the 11 Ultra along with my old iPhone 12 mini.
Happy to report that my issue has gone away now. What resolved it? I went to the stock, built in messaging app. That's it and that's all.
You may want to look at this video if you are still having issues with your message receiving, but as I said, going to the built in message service fixed the issue for me.

I just wanna jump in to say that I've had zero problems with google messages as default texting app but that I had to change my APN type to fix the text message issues. I also called my carrier (Mint, but uses T-mobile towers) and they improved my data connection reliability by changing something on their backend.
