Question How to unlock bootloader without Mi account? - Redmi Note 10 Pro

Hi there! Like it allways happends, the battery was pure and exactly at that moment, the upgrade started to installing and the phone turned of. At that moment my son (3 y.o.) was watching cartoons on the phone, so when he give the phone back, we thaught, that nothing bad happened. But when the phone was charged, we got bootloop
It`s my wife`s phone and she didn't want to create or link existing xiaomi account to this redmi note 10 pro. Bootloader is locked, so I can't upload any recovery there.
Is there any chance to download all the media (photo/video) from this smartphone? The haulf life of my son is filmed there
Or maybe there is some method to flash ROM with 100% guarantee no erasing data (user's files)?
I will be very much appreciated for all the advices!

. as I wanna see the solution as well

Need help reviving a completely dead device (not so dead though)

Hello folks!
I got my new Vivo XL less than 24 hours ago and messing around with it (as I do with all my Android devices) I tried rooting it as some people mentioned with rootking first and then remove it with something called sume-something, can't recall but I did it right lol. Right after this I restarted the device and to my surprise it was stuck in the blu logo at the startup (the one with the colors). I aint that stupid though so I went ahead and accessed the phone's original recovery to wipe cache and factory reset it as well with no success, I tried up to 5 times doing still with no success. Now concerned I tried reflashing the unit and again to my surprise since it is too new (perhaps) I haven't been able to find just 1 guide in which I could've just downloaded certain files and push them through fastboot or something, the only thing I found was installing TWRP or CMW through SP Flash Tool which I definitely tried and now the device won't even show me a colored screen. I was able to install the MDTK drivers so the unit gets recognized by my windows 10 computer and while trying to flash through SPFT the unit gets detected but right now the device just wont boot up and I can't find the way of somehow installing the stock rom (which I couldn't find) back to the device. I didn't touch the bootloader nor anything related to it just tried to root the goddamn thing -_-.
I'd really appreciate any help you guys could offer me, right now I'm downloading the VIVO XL backup someone left available at the following link but if I knew at least what to do with it :/
https://www.dropbox.com/s/x4lgfv27jtgirkh/Blu_VivoXL_backup-2016-03-05.zip?dl=0
Keep in mind that my device right now is completely dead, I know I can flash it because when I connect it to the computer it gets recognized but nothing shows up in the screen , not even if I press the volume rockers or hold the power button.,
I'm even willing to issue a donation for the hero that could help me out because the unit was sent to my freight forwarder's locker and having it returned would technically be more expensive than getting the phone itself brand new, help a brother out and I'll do my best to help YOU out with at least a beer
Well after seeing so many views and realizing I could be taking advantage of the time I went ahead and downloaded the ROM for the geenios ?? S plus, formatted the device without the bootloader, downloaded the ROM and surprise surprise, it came back to life :0)
It however got stuck in the logo screen for 5 minutes but then android showed up. Just for anyone who goes through what I have and needs help, cheers!! (0:

You can actually flash the Gionee rom and once installed use either the engineer mode or MTK droid tools to bring back the IMEI, the modem works but there's no IMEI and without it the carrier will not provide you signal, with the IMEI set (which is on the box and inside the phone below the battery) you will start receiving signal again. What happens is that when you reflash the VIvo XL with the GIonee flash it just removes the IMEI, but here's the thing. I didn't know about the IMei thingy after reflashing the phone, I was just trying to use my SIM certainly with no success. Once I was able to work out the Imei thing (I'm pretty sure I used uncle's app on android for the engineer mode) it started taking signal but it would just work for a few seconds (minutes if lucky) and then it would no longer have signal. After working this SEVERAL times I just thought to myself.. what if I just get a SIM from a different carrier. I **** YOU NOT, it worked. I didn't have to return my phone internationally (which would've been easier I guess but I liked the challenge) and ended up not only with a fixed phone, but rooted as well. Can't be happier right now, the phone, after a few weeks of testing this baby I can't complain, is definitely what I was looking for in a cellphone. Along with a few kernel tweaks it actually runs snappier than my girl's Iphone 5s, although I know spec-wise it's quite obvious.
Hope this gives you light, I know nothing about developing roms or such, just read for days without sleeping and worked the magic on this baby, embrace the challange!

Xioami MI 5 boot loop data recovery, please help!

Hello forum members, this is a plea for your help, I have no experience with forums like these so please excuse any mishandling of the forum, this is a time sensitive request.
The MI 5 that I have been using for 4 years has just gone into a boot loop, after powering down, I know I am close to the dumbest person on earth because of this but I stored basically all my passwords in the MI notes app. It just happened because of my laziness they just accumulated there and I never bothered to export them, because once I had put them there I'd just forget about it.
This phone had become basically unusable in terms of speed but I kept using it because of lack of funds.
I was just about to purchase a new phone when this one got stuck in a boot loop.
I originally purchased the device from aliexpress, I believe it is a chinese device in hardware with a global rom flashed on it by the seller.
I have tried flashing twrp onto it but to no avail because the device is locked in regards to flashing.
I have no idea what to do, the recovery menu has three options one is rebooting one is connecting to a pc using mi pc tools which I have tried but
the toolset doesn't even know that the phone is plugged in and the third is wiping all data which would be the opposite of what I need, I have thought about doing this
and then using a data recovery app or something but I don't even know where the mi notes are stored and if they are even stored somewhere that is readable and understandable to humans at all.
In passing I also wanted to mention that over the years that I used it the device has always emitted a sweet smell when it got hotter, has anyone else experienced this? Is it toxic?
If anyone knows how to help your assistance would be appreciated SO MUCH

hello! my phone was 2.5-3 years old so this happened after warranty time.
I try to go some local services and they told me, " we tried the EDL mode but still not working, you have to find a new motherboard."
Then i tried some ROMs with EDL mode, my phone was accepting the ROMs but when i try to restart, it was still rebooting...
So i search Mi service and send them to my phone, after 2 week they send my phone back, and told me "Unathorized attempt on motherboard." And offered me much much more repair fee than the price I got it can you believe that!? i bought it at 1200 but they offered me 1450..... Man this phone is 3 yearsold...
SUMMARY
Anyway, i continue to search and probably eMMC chip broken, ( or just cold solder)
It happened suddenly, i was wathcing vids on youtube while cooking....
Now my phone dead and i am still sleeping with them
Maybe 1day i can trust someone and fix it.
Also today using note9pro, i hate the mi phones, freezing, camera dust, crashing apps... That was never happen on max2....
If you ask me buy a realme! Unfortunately new phones is thicker than max2.. and the 16:9 format is over :crying:
Look at ozymandious' thread. Could be a hardware issue, due to moist, bad battery, bad components, bad luck, anything until you get the motherboard checked out.

Question HELP - Bootloop into Recovery without any attempt to flash

Hey, everybody!
I got a problem and hope to find help in here:
I recently got my Mi 11 Ultra (12GB / 512GB) from Tradingshenzhen. I bought an unmodified chinese version. After setting up my phone a few days ago the only things I did was changing the language of the Play Store using Morelocale 2 and deleting 2-3 (really unnecessary) apps using ADB. I didn't flash anything, didn't unlock the bootloader or didn't even start the unlocking process.
Everything worked fine for a 2-3 days now. Tonight I realized that the phone was off. As I was thinking that the battery was empty (there was a message a while before that the battery was low) I connected the phone to the charging cable and did a long press on the power button trying to turn it on. I put the phone aside and went to bed.
Today in the morning I took the phone and saw that it was obviously in some kind of menu I hadn't seen before. It says " Main Menu MIUI Recovery 5.0". There are three options: reboot, wipe data and connect to MiAssistant. When I am choosing "reboot" the phone tries to reboot but ends up in Recovery Mode again. And again. And again.
How is this possible? Anyone knows what happened here? As I said...I didn't flash any ROM or opened the bootloader.
Unfortunately there is one photo on the device that I need and haven't uploaded to any cloud yet.
Thanks in advance!
Can't see any other options that will work without losing that photo.....
Maybe an expert could help you but I'm not sure you will be able to reflash yourself without Data wipe....
Thanks!
I actually wiped the data and reset the phone. Works now again but the photo is lost.
There is a way to retrieve data from a board but it involves taking the whole phone apart , which is risky, and connecting a couple of wires to some points on the circuit board....
Not for the feint of heart and I haven't seen it done yet on this model but there's a YouTube video of it being done on an older xiaomi phone....

Question Think I made a small issue to something huge

So The redmi note 10 pro atleast in India( redmi support has admitted to it) had this front camera issue where after the MIUI 13.0.5 update cameras had stopped working, also my Snapchat and instgram camera parts totally died. This was annoying but I was just going with it because I don't have the time to go to the repair shop for the "free fix".
Now yesterday I was just doing my thing using my phone browsing something when the app I was using ( think it was Gmail) crashed so i restarted the app and then it kept being extremely slow and finally the phone just died like froze and that system UI crashed thing was being shown but I couldnt do anyhting on the screen so I just held my power button expecting it to restart.
Now the issue began, the phone refused to boot up, after the original MI logo and a run of the theme's boot up animation it would freeze and the whole thing would happen again. It kept happening for a long time so then I went into safe mode, dad deleted all apps he thought are unsafe (they aren't mostly) and then rebooted but it wouldn't start so he said factory reset it. I went ahead and took whatever back up I could on safe mode and did that but now the phone would just boot into "system UI crashed" and be unresponsive.
I'm not sure at this point if I could boot in safe mode but i had given up and it was on another bootloop when I just removed the sim to out it into this trash phone and I did but after like 5 minutes I have no clue how it just booted into setup like a first day phone. Went ahead and set it up even rebooted to see if it's flawless and it was fine. Guess what even after all that the camera issues were still there. Today morning the phone was acting a little up but I didn't give it much thought. School got over boot it up and it wouldn't boot up again, went into safe mode and rebooted somehow that worked, reached home and voila using an app and this time it decides to reboot on its own and again back to zero.
I was so fed up and this is where first paragraph comes in I assumed this is all because this 13.0.5 is absolutely garbage for my phone and I should go back to another version of MIUI so I started watching videos on that.
Downloaded mi unlocked tool, pretty sure i did the OEM unlocking thing and mi account thing( i did all this in safemode because normal wouldn't boot) and went into fastboot but it wouldn't show up in the unlocker app. Thought I did something wrong tried again and failed again. But now it decided to not even open in safemode and then I gave up. My dad did something and wiped data and when it boots up now it just says device is locked in an unresponsive state where I can't type in the pass word (obviously because system UI has crashed) and it won't stop booting into this same screen. I can't enter safemode now but I'm not sure about fastboot. Please help I'm new here and I'm sorry for the extremely long post. If there are other places I can post and get help please tell.
To me my friend you sound like youre in a spot, I think personally, youre best solution is a service centre repair, warranty or not, sounds like you have some major issues there that are beyond simply flashing, and the more you mess the worse it gets. If it is a new phone i would be returning it for repair or replacement, if Xiaomi have admitted to camera problems then they should be liable for repairing the phones that suffer with this problem, you need to contact them to find out what you are entitled to.
