And on the latest oxygen OS NE2211_11_C.22.
I seemed to be facing issue with HDR playback where in the screen is extremely dark and super dim with the content being not visible at all
Can anyone please see if you are facing the same issue
I tried watching manifest and it's showing me the problem.

Hello! Today i went to go watch an HDR video on youtube and every time I go full screen it dims my screen brightness entirely. Anybody know whats up? Is this a known issue since the new YouTube update? Is anybody else having these problems? It seems to only happen on HDR videos.

Updated my Moto G5S Plus to Oreo 8.1 a few days ago using the commands on XDA. All is working great however I have an issues with WhatsApp, isolated with its Camera.
When I try to do Video on the Rear camera for video it seems to "zoom" in and I cannot zoom out. Its like jumping to max zoom and getting stuck.
With the front camera it seems to be VERY dark, the preview I see when recording video looks good, however when it plays back before sending its almost 100% dark, as if the light was never on?
Ive tried disabling the default camera, reinstall whatsapp all the usual stuff. I would assume if this was a widespread issue with the Whatsapp or Oreo update there would be more threads on it however I cant find anything.
Anyone else had this issue?

i have this problem too
The problem I have is that messages do not arrive unless I enter the application. The camera thing happened to me only in a couple of occasions where I recorded and it seemed that I had zoomed but it happened to me in the camera application not in wasap.
Hello people, I have my mi9 since 3 days and I really love it. It's a great phone, but today I found wierd bug in camera app. I recorded with 1080p 30fps with stabilization on. After few seconds of recording phone freezes, but audio recording is still going, after a while it resumes. Video like that is kinda unusable. What's more when I'm in camera app on video tab sometimes it freezes just on viewport, without even recording. Does anyone have similar issues? Any help would be appreciated.

This may be too late, but I had similar problems with the camera app freezing when image stabilization was enabled at 30fps. In the end I discovered that some sensors were not functioning at all (gyro, magnetic, light and compass); My guess is that at least first two feed info to the stabilization algorythm.
I managed in the end to solve the problem by flashing a xiaomi eu rom from twrp.
Hi, i am having the strange issue with video stabilization on my note 9. It started after receiving one of the software updates. The issue is that on certain video resolutions (for me it started on 1920x1080 and 2224x1080 at 30fps) video is cropped and zoomed in as you would expect but the saved video is still shaky. Funny thing is - when i installed Android 10 the issue didn't go away but instead note stabilization doesn't work on 4k and works on 1080 now. I have no idea what's going on and the service center charged me $160 to fix it, but that's quite a lot.
Has anybody faced anything similar?
Can someone please check on your phones if shooting in different resolutions with stabilizer turned on results in different stabilization effect?
I just bought new honor 9 lite and i figured out recording screen has line random parasites as recorded video for both rear and selfie cameras and i tested different camera apps and the issue was not solved. I didn't update android and it's still base version of android 8.
Is it hardware or software issue??
