DOWNLOAD ROM
GAPPS: DOWNLOAD GAPPS
First time installing crDroid to your Mi Max, or coming from another ROM: <--THESE MAY NEED UPDATING FOR YOUR PARTICULAR DEVICE; BE THOROUGH IN INSTRUCTIONS-->
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip <--& vendor img, if applicable--> to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

Thank you sir for the answer. Actually I'm on AOSOEXTENDED right now and it was very smooth and stable I really like it. Since you have told me that crdroid has good sources same like AOSOEXTENDED so without a doubt I will try it when I have a free time :good:

For some youtube videos, even setting the volume to the lowest setting keeps a annoying noise coming from the speaker. Any idea?

The flashlight does not turn on and the button is clamped - it also hangs the phone. after clamping the power button
At work, there are small delays, such as microfreeze, the speed of copying from the phone’s memory to SD is depressingly low 3-5 megs per second, Wi-Fi screens on the computer were initially poured at 150kB / s (finally, tin) increased to 750kB / s by the end and tom thanks
It seems that the smart has lost 2-3 cores from 6 processor ones, everything is somehow inhibited - open. A folder with screenshots in the phone's memory in ES Explorer and wait a few seconds while it draws tambneils next to the file names.

And after its loading to twrp I've tried clearing cache and dalvik

When I have a call : screen always to be Black and bell but can't answer the call
I tried to dial phone call (press number then press call button) screen don't change any thing while it is dialing (not go to calling screen)
if it is bugs?

C 'mon No one makes a ROM which doesn 't boot Official. It works as long as you follow the instructions properly. Twrp instructions as well

hello, rom maintainer, i would really appreciate if you could release a non g-apps build of this os. I just want to get away from Google botnet. I really like how sakura feels. I hope you make available a non g-app build soon.

Sometimes restarting makes the rom get stuck in bootloop. Force rebooting solves the problem temporarirly.

hello rom maintainer, can you explain what these folders are? They are in the audio section of default files app. I dont have whatsapp installed, neither do i have any audio files on my device. I cant get rid of these folders. Inside the 'unkmown' fiolder, there are 6-8 subfolders. How do i get rid of them?

Haptics could be improved, not as crip as the haptics on OOS

Does this have face unlock? And how is FOD on nightmode?

Ok using now but definitely has a couple issues. The fingerprint doesn't work and is off center and the clock in the status bar is over the camera as you can see in the photos. Will this get fixed through the updater?

Face unlock is included and the FOD on nightmode works fine.

The FOD has the tendency to be a bit janky.
When I lock my phone, wait till the AOD comes up, click my power button again (not unlocking it), lock my phone again the FOD icon disappears and it only comes back if I swipe up to enter my pin.

Got it up and running now. Everything is working great so far. Thanks for all your hard work.

Impressive Beta, got only 0.37% drain overnight. Only small bugs I have seen is that sometimes faceunocks unlocks but leaves the lockscreen. Other then that if you could vibration controls in the onplus menu, it would help get the vibration down. Again solid build

Hey, thanks for your work. However bluetooth audio does not seem to work. Also I am unable to update to 12/12 build (it is asking me check my network connection and try again). Other than that I faced no other issue. Would be great if u could fix the bluetooth audio issue ASAP and this would become my daily driver. Solid beta btw

I was using crDroid on many devices and it never had gapps included. Better remove it and let us do it manually (if we want to).

By the way - update from build-in-system app doesn't work for me, maybe i'm just doing something wrong. Only clean flash working, the vanilla version will be simplest way 4me - i dont know how to reflash FlameGapps on 7.8 with included gapps i know there is a way, but... package installing on 100% with succesful, but i'm just reciving a bootlooping.

I asked the dev and he said he is compiling vanilla build and could release in 2 hours...but not found vanilla build so far.

BTW - what about AOD? Only i think this can be called issue? I mean - AOD working just when i plug the charging, only then, and... There is nothing about Always On Display, or something similar on settings, options, eehkm - or anywhere.

First Time Install / Clean Flash
Install to 4.9 TWRP
Reboot to recovery , wipe all except internal & sdcard
- Flash Zip
- Flash Magisk (optional)
- Reboot
- Enjoy
if you used 3.18 or old ROM(2021):
Install this recovery and reboot in twrp , format data=yes, wipe all and internal storage(you will lose all your data on the internal storage)
re-download the ROM to the internal storage.
- Flash Zip
- Flash Magisk (optional)
- Reboot
- Enjoy
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!

Can't make calls. Everytime I place a it shows call ended immediately.
Double tap anywhere on status bar to put the device to sleep doesn't work.
Keyboard is buggy : pressing and holding the button beside the spacebar to access other symbols doesn't work. I.,..'am typing with the same keyboard.

The navigation bar is totally black. The LEDs don't glow. Causing problem in phone operation.

What do you think I did if not a clean flash. Honestly that's all I've been doing these past couple of weeks.

don't know. But the people who use it do not report such problems. It has been used for a long time in the telegram group.

why are you writing here? This recovery does not support kernel 4.9
if you are using orangefox do not use ROM 4.9 kernel
