[Help] put lumia in red screen mode with logo - Windows Phone 8 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a lumia 625 with programmatically non-working sound and non-disabling flight mode. I'm trying to put it in that mode, but it doesn't work. Difficulties arise also due to the fact that now programs of the WPInternals type can't reboot it automatically. Anyway, I think I need to reinstall the .hex and .mbn files, but I can't do that because the lumia is not converted to this mode. How can this be done?
That's what I mean by that.

Hi there,
I presume you have installed WDRT and thus thor2.exe on your computer.
If your phone is NOT in emergency mode:
on command line in your WDRT subdirectory type:
thor2 -mode rnd -uefitests -skip_com_scan
Connect your Lumia after typing. Probably you must retry several times.
If your phone IS in emergency mode:
thor2 -mode emergency -hexfile "f:\520\hex.hex" -mbnfile "f:\520\mbn.mbn" -ffufile "f:\520\RM914_3058.50000.1425.0001_RETAIL_eu_euro2_218_01_452872_prd_signed.ffu"
You MUST replace all the file names in " with the file names valid for you.
On Lumiafirmware.com you will find the files but I think, WPInternals will probably have downloaded them already.
Best regards,
Joachim

Need help to recover non-booting Lumia 510

I recently got a Nokia Lumia 520 yesterday and it doesn't seem to find the operating system, I can get it into flash mode but everytime I try to flash the firmware I get either "Phone not supported" in recovery tool and in the Care Tool I get FFU not signed for this device.
This is with either firmware downloaded with the recovery tool or a firmware I got using Navifirm+.
Is there a way to bypass the FFU check or is it this phone is dead?
I spent most of yesterday and this morning trying to figure out why this is... No luck though
"Need help to recover non-booting Lumia 510" or "I recently got a Nokia 520" ?

Mi3 cant boot into fastboot after flashing via fastboot

Hi everyone,
My friend gave me his xiaomi mi3 as it suddenly started to bootloop while he was using facebook. I restarted the phone in fastboot mode by pressing the volume down and power keys at the same time. The phone showed bunny and I proceeded to unlock the phone with xiaomi unlock app. After that I flashed the rom for mi3 using Xiaomi Flash tool. This process took only took two seconds as shown in the picture below. When I connect the phone to PC it shows red led blinking and the phone continously connects and disconnects from PC. The phone cant bootup in fastbooot now. Please help. Before Flashing, I disabled driver signature via F8 key on Win7. Any help in this regard is appreciated.

Your friend's Mi3 is hardbricked. To fix it you need to disassembly the hardware parts and connect pin points on the sim card area (you can google for more details). Don't forget to try using other version of miflash software.

Galaxy S5 G900FQ won't boot after root

Hello. Today i booted my S5. It wen't good and didn't face any problems doing it. After that, i removed some applications that i don't like with a program. When i was done with that, my phone kept giving me a strange error. I though i deleted something wrong and decided to repair it somehow. Downloaded FonePaw for Android to my PC and repaired my phone. During that, suddenly the program stopped and i disconnected my phone to the PC (i know that was a mistake). Now i can't boot my phone. Nothing happens when i try to turn it on. When i try to get to he download menu, Samsung logo stays in screen for 5 secs then an error pops up in the screen for about 1 sec :

It says : Your device will be in the recovery mode all though the recovery process.
Tip: If the data recovery is completed but your device keeps in frozen stat. Please restart our product and connect your deice, the program will prompt you to exist recovery mode"
I don't know what to do now. Thanks for your help in advance.

Galaxy note 8 bricked while trying to root. Device manager indicates it's there.

Hi there, I am(or was) attempting to root my Galaxy note 8 following the instructions on this thread. I've rooted several other samsung products before using Odin and followed the instructions, but after double and triple checking that my pc recognized the device as "Qualcomm HS-USBQDLoader 9008" I used odin to flash the "BL_ZERO_FORCE_EDL" boot loader. Now my phone appears to be bricked. The screen won't turn on, probably because of the boot loader in question, however adb won't recognize my device when plugged in via usb. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. My computer still see's it as "Qualcomm HS-USBQDLoader 9008", but no luck. Any idea's?

I had the same experience, but its an easy fix.
You're going to need to download QPST https://www.qpstflash.com/. Once its installed go to the qualcom folder in program files and open QFIL.
From there, you need to to point the firehose path to the directory you downloaded in the root thread that contains the raw program.xml and patch.xml files.
Go to configuration, select Reset State Machine, and set Max Payload to Target to 1048576.
Now press Download Content
When It's done, you should be able to boot into download mode like normal.

Nokia lumia 1320 RM-994 Dead bug black screen with Nokia Logo, How do I fix it?

Hi, I have a nokia lumia 1320 RM-994, Sorry for my bad English. It turns out it was dead and I used a guide from this forum to "recover" it with hex and mbn files, so now when I connect it to the pc it shows me a black screen and a big nokia logo with white letters.
https://i.ibb.co/0Zg3Y8K/20210710-085044.jpg
My pc recognizes it as "Nokia USB connectivity".

I would like to know what I have to do to get the red screen with white letters to appear, so I can flash the phone, and all the steps to do it. Thank you.
So you nearly have won. (Download and) Launch WP Internals. Select manual mode. Click on "interrupt the boot process". Now plug in your Lumia and WP Internals should switch it to flash mode.
A second way is via Thor2.exe:
C:\Windows Phone Recovery Tool>thor2 -mode rnd -uefitests -skip_com_scan switches to the red screen, too.
WP Internals is more comfortable.
Best regards,
Joachim
