The link isnt working can you provide another one. Thx.
I think you did not understand that there is a difference between camera hal, and camera app...
SultanXDA (and all OP3 roms...) use the OxygenOS camera hal for OP3. We use the MIUI camera hal for Mi5... so we both use the original vendor camera hal!
I was wondering as we have the sources for our phone is it possible to Port the pixel 2 camera and it's features?
Yes I want pixel camera in my mtk phone can anyone port pixel camera for mtk phones
I'm thinking of getting a mi9 to replace my mi A2 (mainly for a better camera and faster processor), however I really like the stock Android experience in the mi A2. I'm considering getting the mi9 and then putting on the pixel experience ROM.
Is it stable enough to be a daily driver? I'm a heavy phone user as I travel a lot and use the phone for work, videos and light gaming
I use ROS, all good for me.
I wouldn't recommend the mi 9 for you.
There are several roms that offer the clean android experience for the mi 9, like pixel experience rom.
None of them offers full stability and usability of the miui roms.
If you can live with miui, you can install 3rd party launchers, such as nova with Google companion, which will feel like stock android launcher with extra customability.

Thanks for the comment, very helpful.
I don't think I can live with MIUI, I've just come from mate 20 pro and emui drive me bonkers. Looks like a OnePlus then
There is LOS from Cosmin which is stable and super fast.
Where?

As the title says. Existing mods stuck at hdr+ processing. And gcam 7 one even open. Help here
I am thinking of installing pixel rom for my redmi note 11 global spes. I am just confused a bit between the names, pixel os, pixel experience, pixel plus. What's the difference?
PE and Pixel OS are almost the same, just P OS isn't official so you can't guarantee updates
Pixel plus is like a modified PE/POS but with more customizations
Since Android 13 PixelOS now forks from AOSP, not PE, so they're fairly different. Personally PixelOS has better performance because they pull optimizations from ProtonAOSP.
