I have a Mi8 ( global with locked bootloader) and was wondering why I don't see any mention to unlocking it via "fastboot oem unlock" like I used to do with A1 (Tissot).
Someone could explain the difference and the consequences of trying it?

Hello everyone, I have a redmi 4x and I want to unlock the bootloader to install pixel experience. I already try everything, the main reason why I can't unlock it is that anything I do always throws me the error code 20091, someone can help me fix it please.
So Im on The pixel 4 xl from Spectrum/Verizon on android 12 build number SP2A.220305.012 and the OEM UNLOCK option in the developer options is finally usable. i checked it and none of the fastboot commands for unlocking the bootloader work. Does anyone have any ideas what's going on? or how to actually unlock the bootloader?
So I successfully unlocked the bootloader. i had to use a different computer because the first one wasn't communicating with the phone in fastboot mode. So anyone that still has a verizon/spectrum mobile pixel 4 xl that wants to unlock the bootloader, just install the mentioned above build and use the fasboot flashing unlock command.
I have a carrier lock pixel 4 XL. OEM unlocking option is greyed out is there any way to enable OEM unlock on a carrier locked device please guide me.

actually i cant also turn on the oem unlock option in the developer options it is grayed out
so, from what i have read you cant unlock bootloader without turning on oem unlock
does realme does not allow unlocking the bootloader of the c11 2021???
i cant root it due to oem unlock not being available what do i do
Hello, The Same for me, in my realme c11 2021 ( RMX 3231 ) the oem unlock option is grey in the developer option, i can’t active it for can unlock the bootloader.
