Hello, it is a couple of weeks now that Play Protect warns me that S2A is not safe, and I must uninstall it.
What's happening? I didn't update S2A, it's just Play Protect that decided that it is now bad.
What do you advice?

Not sure if this is a phone problem or a google problem, but my Z1 is no longer showing up in the play store from the browser. I'm still able to use it on the phone, but it was just there 5 minutes ago and now no longer showing, even in the settings with my list of devices. I am stock rooted.
Earlier I was trying to force the OTA of the new walkman app earlier and cleared the data on the google services framework and update center. I'm guessing it had something to do with this.
Although the Snapdragon Battery Guru just finished its analysis this morning, but I doubt that had anything to do with it.
Any suggestions?

Did you use anything that may have modified how your device appears to the play store?? that could have done it, but it shouldn't disappear like that at all, could be a glitch, maybe clear data on play services and play store and reboot and hopefully it'll find it, google normally catches on pretty quickly so shouldn't take long to show up, also try a different browser.

Lately, Google updated all their system apps like Google Play, Google "Services" and all that stuff. The problem I had been having was that it was eating away about 60% battery every 4 hours on standby. My phone was really hot all the time. At my job, I'm on my feet and walking around for about 12 hours a day and need to always have my phone on me and be able to receive phone calls. So this was getting really annoying.
I tried numerous methods all over the internet to get it fixed but non of that stuff really did anything. I tried using LBE to deny GPS permissions and that didn't fix it. LBE doesn't have the ability to deny the wakelock or run-during-standby permissions so it wasn't able to help me much more.
I even tried buying the full version of Greenify to hibernate Google Play, Google Services, as well as all the individual apps that spam-sync everything. It worked for like a week but then Google must of updated everything and now it seems to bee immune to Greenify.
Since Google Play services is the one doing most of the battery spamming, I tried to disable it in settings>applications>all but it's blocked from being disabled.
So I have to disable Google Framework. This makes my battery last forever on standby now but it causes problems. First, it makes the gps not seem to work, The gps icons will show, but no apps can get my location. I have checked LBE and it's not blocking anything anymore so that's no what's making gps not work. The other problem is that I get an annoying message telling me that google play services has stopped working. It's only a problem because it's annoying. The third problem is that Google play doesn't work but I don't care about that.
Does anybody know how to make Google Play services disable-able from the applications menu? If not, perhaps there's a way to make those error messages go away and re-enable gps?
So I updated my Google Play services to 8.1 but I had package disabler (which is now turned off) running on my phone which problem is the culprit. But after updating my phone started heating up, freezing constantly and giving all kinds of google play update errors.
I thought, great I will just uninstall the update and everything will be fixed. Well uninstall and force stop are both greyed out. So I went to the device admin and turned off Android Device Manager but, it just turns right back on and greys out if I restart my phone it goes back to normal but then when I try to disable it does the same thing. I have tried with Android Device Manager both installed and uninstalled same issues.
So I can't disable Android Device Manager, I can't uninstall Google Play Services update... anyone have any ideas short of factory reset?

I have constant problems with Google play services which seem to effect multiple apps. Noticeably Uber and wear os. I'm sure there has been another app I have noticed it causing an issue. I have tried switching to manual on battery but that doesn't seem to make much difference.
I can always temporarily resolve the issue by clearing the cache and storage of Google play services. But obviously a pain to do this each time.
Any suggestions? Anyone else found this?
Do you mean the "Google Play Services is Updating" bugs ?
If yes, then am with you ever since the 27 April update of google play services. Clearing data solve it until next reboot though,
And since am not rebooting my phone that often, I guess I'll just wait until another play services update

Hi, i had bought CardBoard Eabler almost a year ago and everything worked perfectly until 2 months ago, when i factory reset my phone, CB enabler no longer works. I thought maybe its an old version from the backup i took before factory reset, so i tried to find it on play store to update but it was removed. I had also paid for another app like it a long time ago and couldnt find it eighter. I have been searching everywhere trying to find an alternative way or app to use my cardboard apps. I have some cardboard apps which i have paid for and i can no longer use them.
And i hate to use the gear vr app, it heats the phone very quickly and request to let my phone cool down.
I use a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge btw.
Can someone pleease help my get a soloution? Im getting mad and tired of searching. Is there an anti cardboard apps on gear vr going on right now or what?
If i dont get any answer here then i dont know where i can get. Please help!!!
