When I got my gear and Note 3 (from a guy on Craigslist) it worked perfectly. My very favorite App was "Pattern Dialer", which made it possible to speed dial from the Gear, and launch/hear the calls on the gear.
Then, I switched from Page Plus to Verizon, and the phone upgraded to Android 4.4.4. And pattern dialer stopped working.
I purchased another note 3 running 4.3, (and rooted it to prevent upgrades) in hopes that would solve my problem, but it didn't.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this isn't working or what I should do to make it work? I've got $100 if someone can make it work on one of my phones.
I have a toddler, and being able to answer and make calls from my wrist was really amazing. Please help me get it back.
Thanks so much.
I'm just curious, I've never owned a Samsung Pay enabled device before, but I've always been intrigued that Spay can basically be used at any store due to it's MST technology. To me, it seems like, why would anybody ever use Android Pay over Samsung Pay... But yet I've seen countless posts from people with Samsung devices commenting how they only use Android pay, or they prefer Android Pay. Can anyone tell me why this is?
Not sure. I used Android pay before I owned a Samsung phone but now use S-pay exclusively. It just works about anywhere I've ever tried it. It has saved me a few times when I've forgotten my wallet too. Maybe things are better now but it seemed two or three years ago Android Pay just didn't work at a lot of places. Haven't bothered to try again.
It is probably the single item that keeps me from switching to a more pure Android device like Pixel or similar.
Hello bro, my name is Alex a from Paris I dont speak english very good please I have problem on my Note 5 N920C
The two speakers of my Note 5 N920C Nougat 7.0 make noise, when I listen to music (Spotify), watch YouTube, when I call. I have to restart it for it to work. It runs 24h / 48h then the problem comes back. I have the same sound being in Bluetooth, or being the headphones
I have both Android and Samsung pay installed on my phone and while I do primarily use S pay I have run into one or two places that don't accept it so in that case if needed I will use S-pay

Sounds like it is a software problem if it is doing the same thing on bluetooth and headphones. Have you rooted/installed a rom on your device? If not, is there a software update?
Hi
I Had the Beaming Service for Samsung 2.0.3 and beep n go app combo working on the s9 plus. However, this does not seem to work on the s10 plus as the beaming service keeps crashing in the beep n go app.. Does anyone know an alternative active beaming barcode app?
Thank you
I have the same problem, thats why i got back on android 8 at a samsung a8. Android's 9 problem maybe, samsung declined the service?
I'm having some issues with the official flip cover from Samsung on my S20 FE 4G. What happens is that whenever I receive a call on Signal, Wickr or Viber the phone only rings for a few seconds instead of ringing until I either pick up the phone or the person that's calling me hangs up. This does not happen with regular phone calls.
I suspect that this is due to the following bug that has been in Android for a long time now: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/37011954
However, it's possible that this is due to some setting on my phone, and I would therefore really appreciate if anyone with an S20 FE (4G or 5G) with the official Samsung flip cover could try to reproduce this issue. If you don't have any of these apps installed the simplest one to test with would probably be Wickr since you don't need a phone number to register an account. I assume that WhatsApp also has this issue, but I haven't tested it since I don't use it.
Is it possible to reply in whatsapp with a non samsung phone. I read somewhere that samsung has blocked this in an update. I've got a nokia phone and a Samsung watch 3, the icons for replying are there ,but don't do anything.
