[Q] Buying Exynos version in India..HELP

I am considering buying an exynos version note 4 from an onlone dealer in India.I was wondering of there are any issues I should be worried about ie my carrier not being compatible etc. If anyone has any information regarding this please do help me out.

I am using note 4 SM -N 910C currently in india, mumbai without any issues.

I am using N910H without any issues.. This doesnt have LTE band (so as any carrier over here) but 3g/HSPA works perfectly

LTE in Germany

Hello,
I've just bought me the Note 5 from a seller in England. Today the phone arrived to me. I live in Germany, so i bought the international version of the Note 5 (SM-N920i).
My Problem is that i only get an edge-connection. At 3G or 4G/LTE i've got no connection. Is there any solution for this?

What LTE bands does your carrier use? Have you tried contacting your carrier to make sure LTE is enabled for that phone? When I switch to my Sony I have to get with my carrier to enable LTE on that phone.

Hello,
I live in Germany too, and I have the 920C variant of the phone. I don't have any issues with Vodafone and I'm having 4g with no problems at all!

Hello, thank you much for your answers. I forgot to answer here, but the seller has send me a list which shows the frequency supported by the hardware of the 920i.
B20 (800Mhz, which is most used frequency in Germany and also the one which i need) was not supported by it.
But finally i also got the N920c. Now everything works fine

Hi everyone,
I have bought US one sim version of Xperia 1 mark 2. There is no 5G in options, despite support by my carrier. Is it possible to unlock?

Sony have blocked the 5g in the US even tho the model is same as other regions

Does it mean, that in case i put EU firmware, i shall have 5G?

I can't answer that sorry as I don't root or rom I'd presume if you did do it it be down to the network sorry no help I think youd need to see what 5g band there using and so on

Question Zenfone 8 5G Update - India

Hi, Any Zenfone 8 users from India on here?
Asus released Zenfone 8 in India under the moniker 8Z.
The Zenfone 8 I have was picked up from the US and it doesn't seem to connect to the 5g Networks provided by the carriers here.
So wanted to reach out to 8Z users to know if 5G works for them and what update version shows up for them in about device.
I'm on
Version WW-31.1010.0411.138.

Btw i am on Airtel and Airtel didn't yet released 5G in my city

Great to know we are on the same version, so there is hope If an update comes through i'll get it too.
I have Jio and yes I've seen Airtel's 5g Compatible list, it shows 8Z pending update.
