Is there currently any way to root a Zenfone 8 updated to android 13?

Hi,
i just received my new Mi Max 2. (no sim lock)
Model number: MI MAX 2
Android Version: 7.1.1. NMF26F
Android security patch level 2017-07-01
Miui version miui global 8.5 Stable 8.5.6.0 (NDDMIED)
Baseband version 2.3.c1-00100.1-0719_1408_09d91c6
Kernel version 3.18.31-perf-g459b3d5-343704-ga6bc0ca
How do I root it?
How high is the risk to brick it?
Is a brick reversible?
Thanks
First, you need to unlock your bootloader. After unlocking the bootloader you need to flash custom recovery or TWRP in this case. After, from TWRP you can flash SuperSu.zip (root) on your phone and then your device is rooted.
Dont attenpt anythig with unlocking bootloader, then install TWRP and flash magisk or SU. There is also the app from stupdroid.com
Hello everyone,
I just flashed the Oreo beta with HWOTA and lost my root access (bootloader got locked again and twrp is gone, got the erecovery again) and wonder if anyone already obtained root in the actual android 8 beta. Didn't found anything here yet, but maybe this root method for mate 10 pro could work:

Did any1 tried that?

Hi,
I have a stable working rooted Mi 8 with MIUI Global 11.0.5 and i wish to update to the latest MIUI 12
TWRP and Magisk 8.0.3 working.
What is the step by step procedure? To avoid getting bricked or losing my data. Thanks
Hello,
as the titel mentiones, does the phone get OTA updates, stock Rom on it, if the bootloader is unlocked?
It does yes
Thank you
I will receive my Mi 11 (Cloud White) 8/256 next week, come from a OnePlus 8T (DL Unlocked & Magisk)
On OnePlus when an OTA was installed, for keep Magisk, after OTA installed and BEFORE restart phone, we reinstall Magisk with the Install > install in inactive slot/space (special after OTA) because Oneplus 8T use A/B partitions.
My question is simple, it's the same thing on the Mi 11 ? Useful for update officialy without lose Root or without need to reflash the patch boot/magisk
