Please help me for this little confusion

Hello everyone,
I'm planning to buy Xiaomi redmi 4 in India. I've found that it is named as redmi 4x in China.
1. If you guys can clarify if both the device are same.
2. If redmi 4x development is also applicable to redmi 4(India).

Redmi 4 is for india user, and 4x for globar user. The development are the same.

use Santoni word instead *device codename*
