i dont know if this is the correct forum to post gsi related stuff. I have a sm-g610y XTC then i used an australian firmware from samfw same model because theres no nougat on the region of the phone. now i have unofficial pixel experience running on the phone perfectly but cellular signal is always weak but it still recognizes what sim it is. i changed the csc code but nothing happened
just a question, what vendor did u used for the pixel experience?

i just asked becouse pixelexperience signals and stability is from vendor, if you have the right vendor u can get better signals. and as a j7p eu user; u cant use pe with spagetx or treblue. and you cant only use create vendor on pe's only older versions do it ( if you used the older pe for j7 prime like android 9, the issue is from your carrier or you changed some sim card settings )

okay i just found out that project treblue and spagetx are considered vendors, as i said in my previous post i use havocos 3.12 official with project treblue but the cellular signal is always on EDGE. its not my carrier since i use both smart and globe and theyre both weak cell signal. i might try flashing stock NOUGAT XSA firmware on my XTC phone and see if the problem still exists

well i dont prefer gsi's if you want a full stable devices. i always prefer oneui roms for full stabilty or official roms for stable (official roms can have little bugs note that)

Hello, Redmi 2 users
Meizu officially launched its FlymeOs rom for Redmi 2.
I do not develop nor do I support rom, I'm just sharing. All credits belong to Meizu's team of developers.
Android version: 6.0.1 based
Recommended gapps: arm pico 6.0 (you may need to remove some system apps to free up space)
More information here (Chinese only):
http://www.flyme.cn/firmwarelist-29.html#7
Download:
Flyme 6.7.5.8R beta Redmi 2
Initial release
May contain multiple bugs
We have to flash gapps right
Which version of gapps??? Android version of the ROM?
Android version etc?
And is volte support is there?

Can anyone give screen shot of flyme 6 of redmi 2
i installed it with twrp 3.0 no issues while flashing
1. themes doesnt work. force closes
2. couldn,t make data work. couldnt add apn settings for jio. keyboard was acting weird. and connectivity app was force closing.
3. camera works (7mp) max
4. video recording works too.
5. tried calling with jio. didnt work for me.
i guess its still in the early stages. we should wait for a better build in the future.

Bro, Not only volte..
Also, We're not able to run 4G internet.
The preferred network type includes only Auto/3G/2G..
No 4G.. that is the reason, internet and voLTE isn't working.
And we'll not get stable release, as this is ported by third party meizu devs, and they always release beta builds.
Earlier, I flashed Flyme 5.
In that version, I wasn't able to boot.
Whenever, I tried to setup my language/country.. it reboots.
These flyme os builds aren't much usable.
They're just for experiencing FlymeOs

the rom is goood but volte and data are not working
Data and 4g working for me
I got data working but no VoLTE. Besides, I am unable to flash any GApps. I removed a lot of bloatware from the system partition and tried a GApps package with 38 MB size but that too is not installing. Guess we need a 10 or even maybe 5 MB GApps package for this ROM lol. Apart from that, the Theme app crashes (can't even change wallpaper) and the stock keyboard is not good at all after coming from Gboard.
As for the UX, I must say MIUI is a whole lot better. This ROM is cramped with all sorts of bloatware which even MIUI doesn't have. No wonder the size is 735 MB even without GApps. It is best to avoid this ROM. This ROM is only usable if you don't use a Google account. On the plus side, animations are quite good.

1) What is the most reliable ROM besides Miui for staying powered on overnight? I have had many ROMS here spontaneously power off when unplugged an plenty of charge?
I cannot afford to sleep in an piss my bosses off by not hearing my alarm lol.
2) Has anyone thought of combining Mattofthedead's MOD kernel and a GSI?
Because a YouTube creator #highonandroid has found a way of getting almost any ROM to boot with his MOD. Miui or ASOP.
Why not a GSI seeing they are faster than traditional zip ROMS.
Just an idea

I would like to say that the most reliable ROM is actually the Official one although it's a bit outdated, but a very big new update is coming soon (with Android Q and MIUI 11)
In term of Custom ones I would say the Revolution OS one is pretty good, I used it a lot before

No, its probably something on your end that's the issue. Have you checked that you are running the correct modem (firmware) for your country. I believe in China you use the original version. Although its hard to exactly pin point the issue as there are many different variables involved. If possible could you provide us more info such as the firmware you are currently running (if its global or otherwise), rom and device info (like the modal of your phone)

So sweet of you friend, but I like A11 way more than A12 & A13 because gugle messed up the UI on 12/13, everything is biiiiiiiiig UI LOLS also lesser options than previous versions.
CrD11 V316 GSI works perfectly fine reminds me of RRQ ROM (except a few things like Power-off Charging Animation & bootanimation, but its ok)

2.5 I don't recollect now as it was older version but OneUI is great shamshung rom whichever version it be. Among custom roms I admired RRemix & Crdroid, the rest of the roms I didn't do a comparative performance analysis like rom devs do but as a user RRemix & Crdroid felt way better overall than the rest out there of the ones I had tried. I have tried almost all the GSIs though among A10, A11, A12 and A13.
P.S.- It all depends on the use although in my opinion A7 and then A10 was the most remarkable and peak of all the OS versions of andoid i noticed and probably A13 too, so I think after a gap of about 2 versions a really better version emerges with noticeable difference.

The last Stock miui 12.5 is the most stable and bug free IME.
I'm using Pixel Experience ROM, downloaded from the official Pixel Experience site, it's android 13, it's a pure Android experience and works smoothly. BUT Bluetooth audio and IMs Services doesn't work, despite that it's a pretty reliable ROM! I'm loving it!
The maintainer said that'll solve those errors on the next builds, but without an ETA, so we wait.

I think you don't know how hard I had to look after a at least working ROM for this phone.
And I'll say, it was a lot. This PE ROM is the best and stablest from the Custom ROMs that ain't Modded MIUI and ain't GSI.
So I keep my comment, PE , right know is the best and stablest Custom ROM for Redmi Note 10s, even though it has some features missing.

Well, I think you're right. But the system doesn't suddenly closes or gets laggy, it's smooth, and the main features of a phone works flawlessly. At least I brought some info for this phone community, because it lacks a lot.

I would give an ETA if I didn't have these assignments overwhelming me. Otherwise, I also am suffering from the bugs I myself have, on which I'm working whenever I can of course. IMS seems like an easy fix as all I think I need is the APK from MIUI 12.5. Otherwise, I suspect BT media will be harder to handle.
Another bug I was reported and could confirm was offline charging just like on all GSI ROMs so yeah, lots to fix, lots to tinker around.

"Your device must be on bootloader version 12.5.16.0.RKLMIXM / 13.x.x.x.SKLMIXM... The current bootloader version can be checked by running the command getprop ro.bootloader in a terminal app or an adb shell from a command prompt (on Windows) or terminal (on Linux or macOS) window."
The Warning sign says "12.5.16.0.RKLMIXM / 13.x.x.x.SKLMIXM" So I'd recommend you install the global version first, and then de PE ROM, but I think you could do it right away, from your Indian MIUI.
I myself had the Indian MIUI, but I messed a lot with the phone and ended up with the Global MIUI. My path was changed to ARCANE MIUI, LitE MIUI (both custom MIUI) and then back to global and then Pixel Experience since my device bootlooped after I depleted my battery one day.
Complementing the PE ROM again, my battery depleted one day and I just put it to recharge then everything worked as it should. (Traumatized by MIUI bootloops)

Well for now iam on V13.0.3.0 SKLINXM Android 12. Would it be fine if I just install pixel recovery and then just install the pe rom. What's your thoughts on battery life of pe13 rom is it good like miui 13 or so and what are the major bugs.

I'm using it since launch and it's holding down pretty good. The percentage drops "faster" (not a huge thing) apparently, but the phone withstand better on the latest 10%, I've noticed. And overall it lasts a whole day, and a bit of the next day morning (daily use, not gaming or any heavy task). If gaming, or some heavy task as, music, camera, video/photo editing, it drains more, but nothing out of the ordinary.
I will wait for it to be more stable for now or I'll try the final build.1 last thing to ask iam on miui 13.0.3.0 SKLINXM how should I go for installation of pe13 rom on my 10s? Plz let me know.
thanks.

Before I answer your question I'll ask something off topic. Does your phone gets some audio stuttering when listening to music?
Now to the question. First I ask to you, do you have a unlocked bootloader? Are you using any Custom Recovery?
Well i do get some stuttering when I listen songs on speaker. No i haven't unlocked my bootloader yet but i do have permissions of unlock.and iam on stable miui 13 v13.0.3.0 A12 Indian varient rom
Perfect. Before we start I want to say, I'm no professional, I'm just a enthusiastic user LOL.
First thing to do is backup your sensitive data (so much important)
Then unlock your bootloader, you can use the official ways (MI Bootloader Unlocker), no need to seek the MTK tool way, that is used for bricked phones and to avoid the timer.
After that you can use official MiFlash Tool to flash the Global MIUI 13 ROM. JUST REMEMBER TO CHECK in the inferior right side "flash_all" not the "flash_all_lock" otherwise you'll relock your phone after the flashing process (a huge pain).
Then I'd recommend installing a custom Recovery such as TWRP os Orange Fox (googling you'll find how to do, it's a 4 steps process, but you can find guides out there)
Then follow the PE guide on how to install, and you're good to go!
