What does it mean, and how do I fix it?
Issue: on system reboot, lockscreen is unresponsive several minutes.
Redmi 9C NFC
Tried on 2 ROMs: BananaDroid, Bootlegger (a13).
Magisk v25.2, tried both flashing in recovery, and installing APK normally.
Tried both installation methods: direct install and manually patching boot.img
Same result.

[Q] S3 Mini Wifi on but no networks (BT working)

Hi guys I'm after some help my S3 mini's Wifi turns on but theres no available networks, I've tested bluetooth and this functions fine.
I've done the following
Installed various custom roms
Reverted to stock rom via odin
Tried searching for wifi at other locations with same results
Factory reset, include wiping all cache
I feel this may be a hardware issue, maybe Wifi antenna? I've search high and low on the net with no luck, done all the various Wifi fixes posted throughout these forums. Any suggestions, or has anyone had any experience in replacing the Wifi antenna on this device.
Many thanks in advance!
Take dmesg and logcat logs and attach them
Maybe there will be an answer for your problem
Read mauam FAQ, if you dont know what logcat is
sent from my s3 mini
I've never used Logcat before and I installed Getlogs for dmesg but it kept crashing, so apologizes if the information below is incorrect, I did as much research as I could! I also tried Wifi-fixer from the playstore just out of curiosity but that didn't work either.

Hi
Sorry for late reply
First, try to disable advanced wi-fi options, like "avoid poor connection", "wifi optimization" and set "Wi-fi region code" if there is such option on 4.1.2
I cant remember, if those option are available on stock ROM. I am on custom ROM's from second day after purchasing the phone
Second, if the phone is still under warranty go to service
If not, try to change modem using files from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47452726

Thank for the reply the advanced WIFI options aren't available - I tried flashing the modem updates with no luck, I'd be happy to try to replace the WIFI antenna but no idea where to start
Thanks

SafetyNet API Error

Upgraded to Magisk v15.0 and now when I run SafetyNet check I receive an API Error.
I am running Android 8.1 on Nexus 6P and have uninstalled Magisk using the Uninstaller and re-installed and still receive the same API error.
I've searched and read through quite a few threads and haven't come up with any fixes. Closest thing I found was a fix on the OnePlus forum.
Attached is a screenshot of the Magisk screen for reference.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Clear Magisk Manager data and when you relaunch/open Magisk make sure you have a good internet connection cause you need that to download a files that help to check safetynet API when you click on Tap To Start Safetynet Check...

I had the same problem. I solved it by doing a clean install of Magisk (completely uninstall previous version, install new version).

Oh thanks. That was easier than what I have imagined. Thanks a lot.

You Can Simply Add A Google Account If You Dont Have Any To Solve This Problem. I Did The Same.
Guys i have the same problem and The most strange point is that it all came up after I fresh installed a rom I had been using for a while and had no problem. I tried like every solution here e.g. adding google account or clearing magisk data etc. with no joy.
Any help is appreciated

decryption fails after TWRP restore

I've just tried to dirty flash an update, which failed, so restored a backup I made prior, restoring system, vendor, data and boot partitions. Now the phone doesn't boot properly and after looking at the boot logcat it looks like the cause is that the decryption fails-

Strangely though, twrp can decrypt the data partition just fine.
And also, I don't really get why after restoring from a backup this would happen, I thought that essentially the phone state would basically be the same as before I did the backup after restoring, provided I don't format data or mess with the fs in any other way. Does anyone know why this might happen and could explain to me?
