I'm a former IT instructor and have been working with computer systems for quite a while. Not a developer, programer, or content creator, but my experience extends to the D O S only days. No Windows just commands at the prompt. Been checking out QXDA for quite a while, getting ideas for my students when I was teaching. I'm Tony! Glad to join the community. I've known about XDA since I tried to root my first Android phone in high-school (this is early 2010s). I never joined formally, mostly just read, but over time lost touch with hacking.
I'm now a full-time software engineer at AWS, trying to hack more lately. My main focus these days is turning an old Surface RT I have into a proper work-station/dev machine. It's super underrated, and with a bit of effort I think it can do a whole lot more than what's initially obvious. One of my recent successes was getting AWS PowerShell to run on it -
