Question Moving from Global OxygenOS to India on oneplus10 pro - OnePlus 10 Pro

I'm currently running NE2215_11_C.22 (Global)
I saw that a new version is out (NE2215_11.C.26) but I want to switch to the India Rom (NE2211_11.C.26).
I planed of doing by downloading the Full OTA and install via "Oxygen updater" app.
Is safe to do so?
What is the impact? Will it wipe my phone? Something else that I need to be careful about?
I'm not rooted and my bootloader is locked.

Try with the 29 december version:
Info for the Huawei Updater tool:
EVA-L19C636B361
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1256/g104/v73917/f1/
For some weird reason, the 30 december version does not work.

Dont apply the dload method, this is useful and correct when the UDPDATE.APP file is downloaded from oficial comsumer.huawei site. Huawei includes all the necesary files into one APP file.
When you use the http://update.hicloud.com:8180/....... update server, the update consist in several zip files that need to apply in the update and then the update process is complete.
For user Huawei Updater tool:
In the Advanced/Custom ROM/Custom ROM version field, paste: EVA-L19C636B361
Custom ROM URL field: http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1256/g104/v73917/f1/
Be sure that your phone version is: EVA-L19C636, If you have other version, you can find the correct URL in the firmware finder app.
Press Start button, and the paralell update server is Up.
Redirect the proxy conection info in HiSuite, and press Search Update, you will find the new version, apply.

hi , try this it will help you
1 . notice C605 , your current rom base on OEM C605 , so your nougat should be C605 ( or you must to change OEM number like C185 or C636 .. ...) - use SRK tool to change
2 .Note: Bootloader was locked and OEM Unlock was turned off while this update was done .
otherwise you get failed verify :fingers-crossed:

Thanks for the reply, not sure I fully understand you though. Are you saying that my bootloader needs to be unlocked and OEM unlock needs to be turned on for this method to work?
I was under the impression that I didn't need an unlocked bootloader or root for it to work.

Ok both my bootloader and OEM is locked and turned off. I have EVA-L19C605 as stated before and I found the nougat files for this version and as I said, it fails to verify. Are you trying to tell me that this version wont work and I would definitely have to use the SRK tool thing?

Question Flashing a branded EU operator Mi 11 to a stock EEA rom

Hello everyone
so i'm new here but i've done some thourough research about how to flash an operator branded mi 11 (mine is a branded SFR france rom RKBEUSF) to a stock rom! so i've got two questions and i hope i got answers with you guys!
1. the branded rom is miui 12.5.1 so can i flash it with miui 12.5.4 and not risk an antirollback error? (i have to mention that i dont want to flash it with the latest eea rom which is 12.5.7)
2. Can i flash a stock global rom in my branded sfr device and lock the bootloder (global not eea) without risking a bricked device?
thanks in advance guys
hello ask your question phonandroid forum you will have an answer and in French
Da du ein EU Gerät hast, das EU in der ROM Version sagt das aus, kannst du jede EEA oder Global ROM flashen ohne den Bootloader zu öffnen. Im Anhang werden dir die einzelnen Buchstaben im ROM Code erklärt

Sorry
Since you have an EU device, the EU in the ROM version says this, you can flash any EEA or Global ROM without opening the bootloader. The individual letters in the ROM code are explained to you in the appendix.

No and no.....
If you have specific carrier rom you need to unlock the bootloader to flash....and advice is not to even try to lock it unless you flashing the same rom you had. So my answer is no...dont lock on different base

I agree, @Gaddouur have a EEA Global branded SFR so RKBEUSF instead of EEA Global Stock RKBEUXM,
He can't flash to EEA Global stock without a unlocked bootloader and a clean flash ROM fastboot RKBEUXM from MiFlash.
Even if it's EEA, SF is not the same ROM branch for permit usual OTA/Update from MIUI.
And i agree also with the bootloader, relock the bootloader is not dangerous ONLY for the same branch. So If your phone is natively EEA (EU--) and update to a EEA Global (EUXM) you can Lock without problem.
But if you natively have a CN/MI and flash a EEA and relock, you can brick your phone (a lot of Mi 11 Ultra / Pro know this problem because this device is only chinese)

Then I was at least half right.
A branded EUxx ROM can be reflashed on any EUxxx. The bootloader only has to be unlocked beforehand, but can then be closed again.
It should be clear to everyone that the bootloader cannot be closed from CNxx to EUxx and vice versa, otherwise brick.
Incidentally, the Mi 11 Ultra is also available globally. Only the 11 Pro are China only.

Why do you have to unlock and relock? Doesn't make any sense.. flash directly the ROM without locking it's the same.
because Mi flash return error erase is not allowed in Lock State

Normal because you choose not relock so it's not erased... but not really a error at all, flash is done & phone reboot.
But not start flash at all.

Same as i was...
You need to unlock theBL.....and its not advised to lock with anything else that was on it..... So long story short i would not risk it locking BL with Global on it instead of VF
Anyone wit locked BL after unbrand?

Question Chinese Model Running Global Rom Region Change

I was wondering if changing an already converted Chinese model from NE2215 to NE2213 is less risky than the initial conversion?
Any models I see are already on the Global ROM and I want it to be on the EU ROM, and was hoping there was an easy way to do it.
Can it be done with Oxygen Updater like with previous models and does anyone have any experience with this?
Does anyone have any idea if it's easier?

Thanks for the link, I feel pretty confident in flashing it. I guess the people who bricked their phones, did not delete the cow files and that is what caused their phones to stop working. As long as I delete those files I should be fine. Thanks again for all the help.
